Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, two blacksmith apprentices under the same teacher, are one day sent to Canterlot to deliver two special weapons to the Queen, Lady Platinum. However, when they arrive, they experience a tragedy that will lead them on a quest to seek the Elements of Harmony that have been scattered throughout Equestria.
