A short stay in Ponyville
Buck" I yelled as I fell out of my bed on to the uninviting hardwood floor. "That's one way to wake up" I mumbled as I grabbed my red bow tie from the bedside table, fastening it around my neck with my wings, they weren't quite as dextile as unicorn magic but they did the job.
"Thunder!" Emerald yelled, "Are you awake because I made pancakes!"
The scent of the heavenly food tickled my nose as I flew out of my room (Rather comically might I add, I looked like some sort of character in a cheesy cartoon).
I entered the kitchen to see Shadow sitting at the table, absentmindedly prodding at the food on his plate. It looked like he was trying his best not to fall asleep, knowing Shadow he wouldn't manage to.
"So what are your plans for today Thunder?" asked Emerald.
"I was going to try out the M.E.S today on the outskirts of the everfree forest." I smiled to myself "If it works I might even be able to duplicate some simple spells."
Emerald frowned "Is that all you're doing? You know if you're so obsessed with magic you could go and visit that cute mare you have a crush on and ask her to 'help' you with it" I felt my face redden in embarrassment as I tried to think of a good comeback. But luckily Shadow helped me as he face planted his pancakes and began to snore very, very loudly.
Silently I thanked Luna.
Emerald suppressed a laugh "Why the Buck is he so tired?" she asked.
"He stayed awake all of yesterday while we were moving and then stayed up all night practising on his bass" I said bluntly. "so sis what have you got planned for today? Except for humping Tyson that is"
Her face turned the same shade as my tie "I'm not ... I mean ... we're not ... you know."
I gave her a blank look "Don't even bother hiding it, it's obvious."
"How so?"
"You spend all your time with him, you laugh at all his shit jokes, and lets just say that you're not very quiet at night" I said winking at her. You know I said earlier about her face resembling the color of my tie? Well now it put my tie to shame.
"I uh..." was all she could manage before she screamed as I was rugby tackled by Tyson, pinned to the ground and bitch slapped.
"WHAT THE BUCK!" I yelled as I pushed him off and rubbed my sore face. They both laughed as I straightened my mane so it was covering my right eye as per usual. "You really need to stop doing that."
"You need to stop giving me a reason to" he shot back.
"I'm going!" I said as I walked to my room but not before I was almost crushed by Shadow as he jumped from his place at the table with a pancake glued to his forehead and a large string of syrup hanging out of his nose.
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" he yelled as he tried to remove the syrup from his nostril only resulting in his hooves and face getting covered in the stuff. He sneezed but before he could move his head it sprayed all over his front turning him into a sticky mess, the syrup still hanging happily out of his nose. "Fuck my life" he said as he face hoofed, which only resulted in a strand of syrup connecting itself with his mussel "I'm going to go take a shower" he announced as he left the room leaving sticky hoof prints in his wake.
Emerald looked at me as she held back a fit of laughter. I just shrugged, grabbed my bag and my fez then left the house.
I stepped out of the small four-bedroom house we had been renting for our stay in ponyville. it wasn't anything like I was used too.
As I walked down the street I couldn't help but take in the beautiful scenery. The town was alive; the light fragrance of morning dew hugged the air, making it sweet. The birds that populated the numerous trees sang together in a perfect harmony that held the very beauty of music, everything that lay before me was perfect. I stood there taking in the beautiful sight before me. Basking in its glory, until my eyes fell upon a lavender alicorn who belittled the beauty of the town. Was that Twilight?
Before I could confirm my theory she disappeared from view so I simply shrugged it of and turned towards the large building that seemed to be a life-size gingerbread house. I entered the strange building, admiring the various deserts they had on display, i picked out what I wanted to add to my lunch (Hey I know I just had breakfast, but a stallion like me has to think in advance when it comes to his stomach) and approached the counter. Only to be greeted by a rather ecstatic pink mare. "Pinkie is that you?" I asked.
"Thundy!!!" the pink mare screamed as she brought me into a tight embrace.
"Hey long time, no see how've you been?" It was good to see pinkie after so long.
"Never mind how I am! How are you it's been ages! What are you even doing here!?"
"We've got a gig just outside of ponyville in a week, we're crashing in here in the mean time." I explained.
"Can we come?!" pinkie asked her voice humming with excitement (even more than it usually does).
I rubbed the back of my neck as I thought for a second. "sure I'll talk to Shadow he should let me get you some tickets... you need six right?"
Pinkie squealed with excitement "Thank you! Thank you!" she hugged me again, it's going to take me a while to get used to all this hugging again "so what you up today? Any time for a party?"
I sighed "I'm afraid not, I'm testing out the new model of my M.E.S today on the outskirts of the everfree you can come and visit me while I'm there if you like. Oh and getting a cupcake for lunch."
"Oh silly me. What would you like to get?"
