Derpy Hooves Wake is a play on James Joyce’s last novel Finnegans Wake and on Ezra Pound’s The Cantos, albeit much shorter. While not intended to be an exact parody of either work, this story explores their styles, themes, and techniques.

This is a short work for its own sake: pretentious, and very experimental.
