Rarity woke up with a start in the middle of the night. "Sweetie?" Rarity said, lowering the mannequin down and looking at the filly who bathed in the moonlight. She let out a soft sigh as Sweetie came into view, and sat there and stared at her. "What were you doing, sneaking into my bed?" she asked while taking a few breaths from her nose to relax herself after the sudden burst of adrenaline.
"I came to sleep with you Rarity! I had a bad dream and I was too scared to sleep by myself."
Rarity could only sigh. 'What a big baby' she thought to herself. Almost as annoying as when she had lived with her in her parents house, before she bought the boutique. She absent mindly made the bed again with her magic and said to her little sister "Alright, I suppose you can... just... please ask next time, sweetie belle. You gave me quite a fright." Sweetie beamed with happiness as she dove right into the bed before her sister climbed in after her.
Rarity had gotten comfortable in her own bed and faced away from the little filly; Sweetie content with turning the other way and facing the wall too, as to not disturb her sister's comfort zone. Rarity, having not shared a bed with her little sister since forever ago when they shared a nightlight in their parents house, couldn't fall asleep. A few minutes later, Rarity fell asleep from her fatigue and Sweetie Belle had finally stopped crying. Her sister really hurt her, and she really did not know what to do in this kind of situation. She really wanted to rely on her sister for support, but the very pony she'd want to confide in betrayed her trust and hurt her. Despite all of this, and despite what happened, Sweetie Belle moved and turned around so she could face her sister, and buried her tear stained face right into Rarity's chest and tried to fall asleep, tears still quietly forming in her eyes as she drifted off in her arms.
