Something better than magic...

One day Derpy Hooves is wandering around Ponyville enjoying her muffin like any other day until she finds some device on the outskirts of town "what in Equestria is this?" Derpy said to herself picking the metal block off the ground. Examining it she saw that it was made of metal and had 2 slots on the top and a slider on the side Derpy just assumed to push down with her hoof it also had a plug comin out of the back. When Derpy brought the item back home. Derpy recognized the plug as the new discovered power stuff. She put the plug into the oh so convenient outlet she had installed a few days ago. She pushes the slider down. "Hmmmmm" Derpy pondered she put her hoof in one of the slots in the top but instantly got burned "OWWW!" Derpy yelled almost bucking the toaster across the house. "What if..." Derpy said putting a slice of bread into one of the slots and pushing the slider down. Derpy watched as the bread slowly started turning brown as it heated up. "Well, that's settled" Derpy said pulling out the toast from the toaster. When she tasted the toast "better than non-toasted" Derpy said taking another bite of her toast. The next morning Derpy went around ponyville telling everypony about the new discovery when everybody was interested  Derpy started selling the toast for 2 bits a slice. She nearly sold out before she could make more. Soon everypony in ponyville had a toaster and Derpy got a noble prize for the toaster.
