A bloodlust has swept across the land. Canterlot lies burning, but no one knows the fates of the princesses. Equestria has collapsed, and all the powers within it vie for control over what's left.

Twilight Sparkle has just woken up in a tomb nearly twenty years after her burial, and she's been told she and her old friends are the only ones that can do something about the bloodlust. They've also changed, however, and maybe not even they can bring Equestria back to the good old days.
