Discorded Sky

Inside a large cave on the side of the tallest mountain in ponyville, Sky paced back and forth. "Who needs friends. Who needs anypony. I don't care about them. They don't care about me." Then, Jason's words echoed through his head. "But- but Adam, we're your friends. We just want whats best for you man." Sky shook the memory from his head.

"No. That was an act. Just a stupid act. A trick." he said, trying to reassure himself. "But, what if it wasn't?" he heard a familiar voice. "Who's there." he growled, getting into a fighting position. "Nopony. Just me. The REAL Sky. The fun loving, BUDDER loving Sky!" the voice said. "What? But how? I don't even know what budder is!" he shouted.

"Calm down dude. I'm in your head. You don't have to yell." said the voice. Sky sat on his haunches. "They were lying. They were trying to trick me into getting killed or something. I just know it." Sky said, drooping his head. "No. They weren't. They are my- YOUR best friends! They were trying to help us! And you just pushed them away." said the voice, making Sky's head droop lower. Then, Sky's coat and mane grew a darker color. His eyes turned red. His mane became spiked. His cutie mark reappeared, but it was a knife. Sky smiled. "And what are you going to do about it?" He smirked.

"Nothing. I'm letting you choose what is best for you. I know that you aren't evil, and that you aren't, that WE aren't mean't to be like this! Sky! DIG DEEP! YOU KNOW THIS!!" the voice inside his head yelled.

The cutie mark disappeared. Sky's hair drooped again, and his eyes went back to grey. "Whoa." Sky said. The voice inside his head continued. "Sky. Your better than this. Think of the Sky Army! What will they do without you? Think of Deadlox! And Jason! and Bajan and Fluffy! What will they think?! What can they do without you?!!?" the voice screamed. Sky simply replied, "They'll move on." Sky then got up and walked further into the cavern.

Meanwhile, Ty, Husky, and Bajan were climbing the mountain while Jason flew beside them. "I can see the cave he flew into! its just up ahead!" Jason said as he waved the tired colts toward him. When the colts finally reached the top, Ty, Husky, and Bajan collapsed. "good work guys. But where's Sky?" Jason asked. "He must've gone deeper into the cave." Husky said, as he pulled him and Bajan up off the ground.

Ty's horn began to glow. "I'll light the way" he said, as Husky, Bajan, and Jason followed him into the dark.
