Friends should play
It were a nice summer-day. Not too warm, not too cold. A soft, cold breeze danced trough a small spring in a wooden-traced window. The window were attached on Twilight Sparkles library. There was soft snores heard from the upper level of this three-shaped home, sounding rather wheezy. The young alicorn was sick, having a pretty bad cold. It happend every so often nowadays, since Twilight studied much more. It's not that easy being a princess like many would think.
The pony slept soundly, Until a loud crash was heard from downstairs. Twilights violet eyes shot open, and she swiftly raised her upper body with an awfully ruffled mane.
''What was that!?''
Twilight asked herself, in her toughts. Just then she realized what an awful headache she had.
''Hey Twiiiilight!''
A cheerful, childish voice filled up the room. It didn't take long before the alicorn realized it was Pinkie pie. But something was odd, well, more odd than usually. There was a rustling sound, kind of.. Heavy. Aswell as small grunts. Suddenly another rather irritated voice started to speak;
''Rarity! Dont just stand there!''
That voice was obviously from Rainbow Dash, Twilight tought for herself and smiled. It was wonderful having her friends to visit, unless they made mischief. Twilight rolled out of the bed, having the great ,white blanked over her wings and downwards, almost as a warming cape. It felt weird stepping down on the wooden floor, as for a sudden moment, blood flushed trough her skull.
Like a dash, a blue pony were flying in front of her, holding out a hoof to the unbalanced pony.
''Man, It was like a week ago! How are ya?''
Twilight tiredly looked up at the pegasus, nodding weakly.
''I-Im fine, Its just a cold..''
Rainbow smirked a little by her reply, as a little relief. Just then, four little ponies were also upstairs, tending to all hold up a heavy machine.
''Pinkie got a suprise for youuuu!!'' The pink pony said and waved with a little plastic box.
Fluttershy and Rarity, wich were holding what tend to be the most heavy, carefully heaved down a rather big machine on the floor with a small grunt. Twilight eyed it with a questioning frown.
''Well.. What is that?'' She said and pointed with her slender, tall hoof.
''We are going to play...''
Pinkie started, but ran away for half of a second, throwing confetti, before returning to the original spot.
''MINECRAAAFT!''
The pink pony said and waved wildly.
Twilight was a bit suprised. Years of studying and she had never heard a word near that one.
''..Minecraft?''
Twilight said and tilted her head.
''Yuppsiiiee!''
Pinkie said, and grinned at its biggest point. Just then the pink pony realized she was supposed to explain,and took a deep breath.
''Its a game where you start out of NOWHERE and then you TAKE CHICKEEEENS and then you kind of build a house, and if you are lucky-ducky-doo you may even find DIAMONDS!''
Pinkie said swiftly, and then grinned once again.
Twilight was speechless, still not acknowledged at all. She felt stupid, even.
''..Um..''
Fluttershy slowly took place, kindly glancing over at the violet pony.
''It is a game.. and you can play with friends..''
She said with her shy little smile, then backed off, bowing a bit at the alicorn.
''Oh..! But what is the machine for?''
Twilight asked, feeling a slight relief of that she did not feel like an idiot.
Pinkie swiftly surrounded the machine seeming to put its belongings together, with diffrent of sounds from tools and all kind of other things. As she finished, she stood right beside it.
''This is a computer! You use it, to play the game!''
Twilight walked in front of it, curiously looking at it.
''We have our computers, too, darling.''
Rarity said with a nod, staring to light her horn, and leviate a small machine from downstairs, humans called it laptop, wich also was written on the backside of the machine in white text.
''You in?''
Dash asked with a smile, holding a heavy computer in rainbow colour as if it came out of nowhere.
''Yeah..'' Twilight said quietly, it felt slightly frightening, yet her curiousity took over.
An hour later, all the computers were set up. A wooden chair were standing in front of the tables the computers rested on.
Everypony were actually excited about this new game, even if it probably would be difficult playing with hooves.
Yet in the light of cheerfulness, something felt off. Twilight could not point out what.
Pinkie repeated what her friend Lyra taught about installing the game, yet Twilight were to deep in her tought to even realize someone was speaking. She simply pressed some answers and then install. But that would probably be a bad thing later on...

A very cuby place
It happend too fast. A lightning of neon-coloured pixels passed Twilight eyes, and then she fell. Far.
It turned black for a while in her head, but as she raised her dizzy head and shaked it, she realized that the others were here aswell.. Unless Applejack, strangely.
Twilight rubbed her eyes with her hoof. Atleast she was not injured, just having a rollercoaster in her head.
''Hey Twilight, you alright there?''
The alicorn noticed blue forelegs of Rainbowdash.
''Im.. Very dizzy but yes. Im okay.''
After her words, she gave some effort into her muscles, and slowly raised up, from a strange grass-ground. Now that she noticed it, the grass did not look like ordinary at all. The colours that blended looked like pixels. With widened eyes, the alicorn lifted the hooves one after one, making sure it didn't hurt her in any way.
''What...Is this..?''
A quiet voice mumbled from behind her, it was a very shaken Fluttershy speaking.
Everypony was quiet, nobody knew. But something broke the quiet barrier.
''Oh..My...CELESTIAAA!''
Pinkie said, she sounded really happy, and suprised. With a snort, the pink pony bounced up and down. It were probably just recently quiet due to that she probably lost consciousness.
Rainbow dash ran over to the hyper little bouncy pony.
''Do you know this place? How did we come here?''
Rainbow sounded angry when afraid, like now.
''Oh you DO know, dont you!?''
Pinkie grinned, as her sight changed from Fluttershy to Rainbow dash, as if they were actually aware.
''Is..T-This...''
Fluttershys eyes tend to be widened by fright and happiness, but her lip trembled a lot, due to the suprise. She turned her head to right and left, spotting un-ordinary trees, chickens and pigs. They looked strange, because they were cubes!
Twilight noticed the shy one's face, and realized. This must be minecraft.. Another quiet moment broke over them, until Pinkie pie giggled.
''Hehe! Look at this!''
With her hooves, she started to break a cube, or block in front of her. As it broke into pieces, it turned into a smaller block, wich she seemed to loot up.
Luckily, none of the girls was ethier harmed, or turned into cube-like ponies.
It looked fun, however, to be able to be doing that. Twilight had never done anything like that, and started to dig a block herself.
Soon, Everypony tried it, unless Rarity ofcourse. She attempted to change the subject, into something more.. Less-dirty.
''Applejack and Spike is not here, are they?''
She said and gazed up in the sky, blinking graciously.
The subject change worked, and the other girls stopped to play around.
''You're right, Rarity...''
Twilight said, getting a wondering frown.
''W-Where could they have gone..?''
Fluttershy mumbled as her ears flopped down a bit. This time, Rainbow-dash seemed to get a lightbulb over her head.
''Spike was not even near us! Dont you remember he said he had errands to do, Rarity?''
The beutiful pony nodded lightly.
''You are right, Rainbow-dash. He was supposed to give someone a heart-shaped box if I'm right..''
She spoke in high graze.
''And Applejack was at the furthest away from me..''
Twilight said out loud , as she noticed it must have been her mistake. However she did not feel bad for it yet, what would be the worst that could happen in this peaceful landscape? There must be a way of getting home, too.
Just seconds later, she realized how stupid her toughts were.
''Oh ofcourse! I can simply teleport us home, its a spell ive been practicing since a month ago!''
Twilight started to smile.
All the ponies walked towards here, awaiting her spell.
As the alicorns horn started to give a lightly violet light, it turned black.
''No cheating''
It said by her dark vision. Then, another text in white started to roll.
''But I like you. I want you to play.''
Twilight Sparkle opened her darkened eyes. Her gaze moved upwards. She spotted stars on a gray sky. A square formed moon even. She shaked her head. The alicorn felt better, actually.
''Um.. Twilight, are you okay?''
Fluttershy were looking down on her princess-friend with a worried yet kind look. The softly yellow pony were kneeling down, as Twilight were lying on the grass.
''I dont know.. What happend to me, even..'' The alicorn blinked several times, gaining memories.
''Well, I cant use magic, anyway..'' She mumbled.
Just then pinkie pie hopped beside Twilight.
''Oh! Hey Twilight! I found an apple for youuu!'' She grinned, giving the alicorn an apple.
Twilight seated up, watching the pixeled apple. Now that she tought about it, her stomach hurted quite a bit out of hunger.
She swiftly ate it. And suprisingly, It tasted like one of Applejack's sweet apples.
''Thank you Pinkie Pie.'' Twilight said and bowed her head.
Pinkie Pie's smile did not fade.
''You know! You fainted! So me and the others found cover here in the forest!''
She spoke swiftly like usually, not that it bothered Twilight.
Twilight nodded.
''I see..''
Just then, an arrow shot dangerously close the violet pony.
With widened eyes, Twilight stared at the dangling arrow before hopping up in fear.
''MY SWEET CELESTIAAA!''
Pinkie Pie screamed and took everyponys hooves.
''Lets go!!!'' She shouted.
But were was they supposed to go?
What if there was monsters everywhere..?
