A millennium ago, a dark shadow dragon rose, nearly destroying Equestria in its rapidly hardening fury. At length, it was defeated and banished into the depths of the sun - but things are finally beginning to go its way again. As it begins to worm its way out of the sun and back to Equestria, a certain rainbow-haired pegasus is having painful visions of an evil-beyond-words stallion heading their way, on the shadow dragon's solid back. Can the mane six find some way to defeat this combined force, or will Equestria become nothing more than ashes?

And what part will a toothless alligator play in this attempt of defeat?
