Sweetie Belle woke up one morning with determination all over her face. Once she'd scrubbed it off, she jumped out of bed and ran to the far side of the room. Her hat/helmet was hanging on what seemed to be a candy cane that had been stapled to the wall.
"It's a good thing I went to bed with my hat on." She said. "I may have lost it." After making sure the straps were done on both sides of the thing, Sweetie rushed downstairs and out the front door. She jumped onto her snowboard and rocketed through town. But then the little unicorn filly remembered what she'd forgotten.
"I missed the most important meal of the day!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed as she looked to her watch which read 11:30. "Oh! Almost missed it." The young filly readjusted her snowboard's aim and rocketed off towards Sugar Cube Corner. The brand new old fashioned bakery sat in the middle of Ponyville just waiting for a small child to enter. Lucky day for Sugar Cube Corner! Sweetie Belle kicked the door open with her kicking boot, the one she'd put on just before entering, and walked up to the counter where a hyper looking pink mare bounced in place look bored as ever. Sweetie belle sat at one of the bar stools and smiled gigantically.
"What would you like, Creepy? Er! I-uh- mean Sweetie?" Pinkie Pie asked. Sweetie Belle held her smile and without blinking or moving her lips said,
"Whatever you had for lunch would be fine." Sweetie's smile grew bigger. Pinkie stared at her with a bit of confusion, then shrugged it off as she gagged several times then vomited up her lunch onto a plate for the young filly before her.
"I had a sunflower sandwich and hay fries." Pinkie said plainly as she went back to polish a spotless glass and dirtying it up.
Sweetie Belle had forgotten how good it was to share someone's lunch. It was very refreshing for her. As she wiped the bid of fry mush from her face, Sweetie took to the skies with her snowboard. Up in the air, she was able to see a number of things: Fluttershy racing with the Wonderbolts, a brown cloud eating a pegasus, and Scootaloo flying along side Rainbow Dash. Sweetie Belle was confused by the fact that the chicken was flying, but she dismissed it as steered her flying snowboard downward towards the earth to get an idea of where she was; it wouldn't be the first time she ended up in another country because of her flying habits.
"SWEETIE BELLE!!" A voice with a thick southern drawl called. Sweetie looked down only to realize it was the pony anyone would've thought it was. "GIT YER FLANK DOWN HEER RAGHT NOW!!!"
"SORRY, TWILIGHT!!" Sweetie called back. "BUT AIN'T NOPONY GOT TIME FOR THAT!!" It was painful to just leave her there. Twilight had been like a brother to her. Well, step- brother. But Sweetie Belle had to do it in order to get to school on time.
Up ahead, Sweetie Belle noticed that the carnival was in town, and rather than visit it, she sneezed in its direction before spinning to the side and course correcting. Everypony below her began to cry pathetically.
"What is it with fillies and germs!?!?" The ringmaster screamed with tears in his eyes. Sweetie Belle could only laugh as she sped away. But the laughing came to an abrupt stop when she was hit in the head with a brick. Not knowing (or caring) where the brick had come from, Sweetie Belle realized something... That hurt. The filly reached a hoof up to her head and realized that she no longer had her helmet on.
"Where could I have dropped it!?!" She lamented. "I've only been all over Equestria! It's not like I had the thing in a bag hanging under the board!" She paused for a moment. "OF COURSE!!! IT'S IN EQUESTRIA!!" With new found vigor Sweetie Belle set off to find her lost appendage.
She searched high and low for the helmet but found nothing. And after hours of looking, she realized that she hadn't been in her closet all day.
"Darnit." But that's went it hit her! Out of nowhere it came crashing through the window and struck her in the back of the head. After recovering from the traumatizing blow, Sweetie Belle picked up the object. It was a thin piece of paper.
Dear Sweetie Belle,
I've tooken you're helmet and not given it back! That means I'm not un-taking it! If you want ever to ever see it again, than you better be at scool wen it stards!

Sweetie Belle was beyond angry! She was somewhere between mildly confused and slightly sweaty.
"DIAMOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!"
Sweetie Belle finally arrived at the school where she met gazes with the horrible Diamond Tiara!
"Give me back my helmet!" Sweetie screamed. Silver spoon looked to her friend.
"Maybe you should do what she says." She advised.
"Silver Spoon. I'm gonna give you five bits when this is done, so just shut up." The silver filly shut her mouth and smiled at what was to come. "You can't have nothing!" Diamond screamed to Sweetie Belle.
"Okay, then give me my helmet."
"What? No! I didn't mean the double negative! It wasn't even- LOOK! You're not getting this back!" Diamond said while flashing the helmet.
"You said coming here was the only way to get my helmet back though." Sweetie said in confusion.
"I never said that!"
"You did in the letter you sent me."
"Oh, yeah!" Diamond brushed the back of her head. "I did......... Well here ya go." The pink filly tossed her opponent her missing helmet. Sweetie Belle happily strapped the thing back onto her head and ran into the school house. Once inside, she found her friends Snips and Snails sitting behind her other......... classmates... whom she then seated herself next to.
"I made it!" Sweetie cheered.
"But it's like five in the afternoon!" Applebloom said. "Why are we still in school?"
"Lame." Scootaloo said.
Sweetie Belle turned and faced the camera and gave her biggest smile as the screen faded to black.
All was well.....
