Dusk has turned five hundred and so she decided to write the story of her life. The story ends up revealing secrets lost to time or kept hidden by the crown of Equestria or even from them. Join Dusk on her journey through the caverns of her memory as she recounts parts of her life that have shaped her.

So, I guess I’m writing this because I feel that it is finally time for my daughter to know the truth about her mother’s life. And I suppose the princesses want to know all the fun secrets of my life. Trying to keep secrets from them is fun and all but it just causes so many problems. Then again their reactions to this book should be even funnier.

But first I guess I should explain who I am just in case this ends up getting used by some kid for their research or something. Well I’m five hundred years old so I may need to be forgiven if I don’t always recall everything exactly, should anyone who reads this remembers the situation better well you should know how to reach me. This book will chronicle my life from as far back as I can remember up to the present day. My name is Dusk, I have another part of my name but after so long I don’t remember it. However I am better known by my title The Bloody Mage I would explain why but well spoilers. I’m a unicorn born in equestrian, not really sure where, and raised on the road. As I said I’m five hundred years old and still going strong, making me the longest lived unicorn ever but the official title for that goes to Twilight Sparkle who died at the age of three hundred and fifty. I have dark blue fur and a deep red mane and tail both kept short, mom used to say my hair was the color of roses dad always said it reminded him of blood. My eyes magic are both a bright red and my cutie mark is a single drop of blood. I specialize in emergency medical magic. That should be enough about me so all that’s left is to get this show on the road.
