Apple's In Bloom
The Girl With the Dragon Lover
Load Full StoryNext ChapterWhen Applebloom heard her old friend Spike had moved back to town she decided to go visit him. She saw him walking out of the library and went over to him,
“Hey Spike!” she called. “It’s been a coon’s age since I’ve seen you.”
Hearing Applebloom’s voice, Spike turned.
A vision of loveliness was baring down on him. Her orange coat and red hair and tail gleamed in the sunlight. Applebloom was quite well developed. Her breasts must have been at least F cups. It was amazing how much she'd bloomed since he'd last seen her. Of course she was a fully grown adult now. Spike shook his head in wonder, it seemed like just yesterday that they'd been little kids playing together.
"Oh, hay, Bloom" he said smiling nervously. "What's going on?"
"Maybe you'd know if you'd written recently." she replied angrily.
Truthfully the reason he hadn't written was he couldn't really think of anything to say. It had been years ago when he first noticed her budding figure. It wasn’t too long after that that he started avoiding her. How do you tell one of you best friends you had the hots for her?
"I... I guess I've been busy." he stuttered.
“Too busy to even write to me? Please tell what I’ve done wrong. Whatever it is I’m sorry.”
As Applebloom stood there she couldn’t help admiring his tall muscular form. He’d definitely grown these past few years. His green crest, purple and green scales and long draconic tail certainly made him stand out. In her opinion that simply made him all that more erotic.
Spike was starting to feel sorry for the gorgeous filly. Maybe he should confess? Gathering courage he turned around and looked her in the eyes.
“I… I think I love you.” he exclaimed.
Applebloom was shocked into silence for a moment. How did she feel about the handsome young dragon? Lust maybe, but love? “You stooped writin' me ’cause you love me? That don’t make no sense.”
“’Bloom, we’ve been friends since I first came here over eight years ago. I didn’t want you to think I was like all those other colts.” he said, his eyes wondering down to her bountiful cleavage. He quickly snapped his gaze back to her eyes.
It was true. Ever since she first started wearing a bra all the colts had been slavering all over her. A couple times she’d even had had to threaten some overly frisky colt with her brother’s wrath.
“Sweety, compared to those dolts you are the picture of a true gentle dragon.”
“I… I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say that I think that you are the most beautiful pony I’ve ever seen.”
“Honey, just the fact you said that makes you tops in my book.”
“So… so you’ll go out with me?” he asked hopefully.
“Sure will! I’ll meet you here tonight seven sharp.” she said smiling warmly at him.
He thought he was going to melt.
Spike headed back to his room and sorted through his things.
“Damn!” he thought to himself. Not only didn’t he have a single decent thing to wear but he had only eleven bits to his name. What was he going to do?
He knew what needed to be done, but the thought of it filled him with trepidation.
Finally after sitting in his room for nearly half an hour he finally gathered his courage and went downstairs.
As usual Twilight was sitting in the Library reading.
“Twi… Twilight? he stuttered
“What is it?” she replied looking up.
Seeing the expression on Spike’s face she knew immediately it was something serious.
She put the book down and went over to him.
“What’s wrong, honey?” she asked, her voice full of concern.
“Could I get an advance on my pay?’
Twilight relaxed slightly, at least it wasn’t dire.
“I need a hundred bits.”
“Is it for something important?” she asked sternly.
“I’m going on a date.” he mumbled.
“That’s wonderful!” Twilight exclaimed, hugging him.
As she hugged him she couldn’t help but shed a tear. She remembered the day Princess Celestia had first brought him home. He couldn’t have been much more than a month old. She’d found him on the doorstep of her forest retreat located deep in the Everfree forest. Being the warm, caring pony that she was, she’d decided to adopt him. Unfortunately, due to all the Princess’ duties the actual responsibility for raising the child had fallen on Celestia’s other adopted child, Twilight. Twilight hadn’t minded. She’d fallen in love with the cute baby dragon from the first day she’d seen him. Now here he was a real adult!
“Here! Take two hundred.” she said, stifling her tears. “Don’t worry about paying me back. Consider it a reward for services rendered.”
“Th… Thanks sis.” he said.
“I expect you to behave yourself young dragon.” she said forcefully, but with a smile on
her face.
“Yes, mom.” he replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
First thing he needed was a decent set of clothes. That meant a visit to… Spike’s heart dropped to the pit of his stomach. Rarity was the last pony in the world he wanted to talk to right now.
Seeing Spike’s face, Twilight immediately guessed his dilemma.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure she’ll understand.”
He nodded, unconvinced. It was time to face the pony though.
He stood in front of Rarity’s boutique staring nervously at the door. For a moment he felt like running home and hiding under his bed for the rest of his life. “That’s ridiculous.” he thought to himself. With a deep breath he entered the store.
“Why hello darling. Nice to see you. I don’t really need any help today, though.’ Rarity greeted him.
“That… That’s not why I’m here. I need something nice to wear on a date.”
“A date! How wonderful darling!” Rarity said, her heart nearly breaking.
“You… you don’t mind?”
“I understand. These May-June romances rarely ever work out.” she replied trying to muster up a smile.
Rarity was secretly disappointed, she'd been planning to ask him out herself.
“I’m glad to hear it. Do you have anything I can wear.” he asked.
Rarity ran a practiced eye over his muscular form and nodded.
“Give me two hours and I’ll have something perfect for you”
Two hours later Spike found himself outfitted in a very nice looking emerald green suit with a purple tie. The suit had been specially tailored to accommodate his plates and tail.
“How much?” he asked.
“I wouldn’t dream of charging you on such a momentous occasion.”
“Thanks a lot Rarity, you’re a real sweetheart.”
“You’re welcome, darling.”
Thanks to Rarity, Spike got a reservation at one of the nicest restaurants in Ponyville. The two of them were a little intimidated. Due to Rarity’s instructions to the wait staff they were soon enjoying a romantic dinner.
Afterwards they walked out of the restaurant arm in arm.
“Let’s go for a walk in the moonlight.” Applebloom suggested.
Spike nodded and they headed through the park.
As they walked they didn’t speak a word, simply content to be in each others company.
After a while Spike noticed that they were standing in front of the Cutie Mark Conquerors clubhouse.
“Come on.” Applebloom said, smiling suggestively.
She drew him towards the clubhouse. Spike followed her full of curiosity.
As they entered, Spike couldn’t help noticing that a bed stood in the center of the room.
“How had they even gotten it in there?” he wondered to himself.
Applebloom led him over to the bed and sat on it, patting the spot next to her. Spike settled on the bed. She leaned forward and began passionately kissing him, he eagerly responded. After a few minutes of heavy kissing Spike cautiously placed one of his hands on one of her large full breasts. When she didn’t object he started caressing her soft round mammaries. She moaned in delight. They continued with their passionate make out session for awhile then Applebloom started to remove her blouse. As much as Spike wanted to see her naked, he couldn’t help thinking things were going a little too fast.
“What… what are you doing?” he croaked.
“What’s it look like silly? I want to make love to you.”
“D… don’t you think it's kind of soon for that kind of thing?”
“I don’t see why not. I love you and you love me. I mean, it’s not like I’m gonna get knocked up.”
For just a moment the greedy dragon that had so nearly ruined his life two years before nearly broke free. Fortunately Spike’s well developed conscience shoved that amoral beast back into it’s cage and slammed the door.
“’Bloom honey. Three other dragon-pony couples have had children that I know of.”
“Really?”
“I may not be into studying as much as Twilight. Living in a library for eighteen years like me you can‘t help learn a few things, though.”
“Damn it. I’m a fool, sure as shootin’.”
She looked like she was on the verge of tears.
“That's alright you didn't know.” he said, embracing her tenderly.
"Does that mean you forgive me?”
Spike shrugged. "Nothing to forgive. Let's jut take things slowly, one step at a time. We've still got our whole lives ahead of us."
“You know sometimes I think your much more mature than you look.” she surmised.
“I can’t decide if that’s a compliment or an insult.“ Spike observed.
Applebloom chuckled. “What I meant was: sometime you act so grown up.“
“It’s a terrible burden.” he said, sighing dramatically.
‘Bloom laughed and kissed him again.
