The royal guard was buzzing full of activity as they fought the onslaught of changelings trying to invade Canterlot.
"Just try you fools! The wrath of the King shall reign forever!" Shouted a lead changeling with defiance, as he wrestled with a grey Pegasus named Grey Stripe. The clashing of swords, and armor were rampant with the sounds of destruction everywhere. Ponies ran in fear as the town was consumed with the black change shifting creatures known as changelings. The princesses were in Ponyville for a week, so it was a planned strike, knowing that surprisingly was a very useful tool indeed.
"You will never get away with this, you bug!" Spat one of the guards as he fought back a hissing changeling, hitting it with his magic, only to get tacked by another of the seemingly endless army of changelings. The screams of terror were rampant as the invasion advanced. Chrysalis watched her army with an amused expression as she sat from the perch of the castle window. We get a chance because miss Sun-Butt isn't here to defend her own kingdom.... and when she comes back, I'll have revenge for her taking Shining armor away from me....
"My queen..." Said a changeling, as he landed next to her. "We have the one known as Shining Armor captured." A delicious thought came into Chrysalis's head. Well... I always wanted to get back at Cadence.....
"Bring him to me at once."
"Of course my queen." Said the changeling, and buzzed off.
