Long ago, before even Celestia imagined an Equestria, at a time when Alicorns were plenty and Cynogriffins roamed the skies, a "Chess Game" was launched by a nefarious god. His plan was to assert his dominance over the whole planet thanks to this twisted championship. That god was Tirek, and this is the story of his champion. He was formerly known as Mordred, King of England, and he is now known as Scorpan, Herald of Tirek.
