Twilight Sparkle moans in pain as she rubs her hoof against her forehead on where the pain hurts. She notices something is not right about her forehead. She looks at her hoof, and it is cover with blood stains. Eek! Twilight shrieks and sees herself in an animal cage. There's a mirror to her right, and something is missing about herself. Her horn has been ripped off, but is covered with a cloth bandage on where her horn was. Her stomach twists like she is about to throw up.
"Twilight!", says Rarity, "Thanks goodness you're up!" Her horn is missing too, and has a cloth bandage covering up the blood.
"Rarity, what's going on? Where are we?", Twilight wonders.
"No idea, I've been thinking about those questions to myself too; but I do know it felt like I was hit in the head by a heavy object, then blacked out, and here I am." Twilight felt the same way too!
"You're telling me!", says Rainbow Dash in another cage, "It felt like I was bitten by a Manticore. Now my wings are gone and my life is ruined!", she squeals.
"Ok, we need to get to the bottom of this, and finds out what is going on.", says Twilight.
"She's right.", Applejack joins in the conversation,"I don't want my brother, sis, and granny to be worry sick that I'm missing." It seems nothing is missing on her body. Well she is an earth pony, but not bleeding nor any bandages on any part of her body. She probably just got knocked out the same way the rest of us did.
"We're going to get out, right?", says Fluttershy in her small voice. She then starts to cry a little.
"Don'tcha worry sugarcube, we're all going to get out of here somehow." Twilight scans the area to look for a key. She sees the room is filled with costumes and......circus stuff? Are they actually inside the big top, and somepony is using the main five as part of their acts? Questions starts to flood through Twilight's mind like the dam wall has broke. Scared and confused of what is going on, she hears screaming and laughing outside the big, red curtain. Clapping fills in the storage room, where the main five are locked up, as two backstage crew members drags a pony to the other room. The pony's face is melting with acid dripping, and has a little cream filling on top of the pony's forehead. A pie filled with acid? That is sort of strange. Twilight just realized somepony is missing in here.
"Have any of you seen Pinkie Pie yet?" All of them nods. Suddenly, they hears a creepy laugh in the background. Everypony looks around and Rainbow Dash spots somepony behind Twilight. She can't make it out, because of the shadow covering up the face.
"Twilight, behind you!", Rainbow Dash points out. Twilight turns around and sees a pink pony in a jester costume with long hair on one side, has both red pupil and black iris eyes, and red lines across her makeup--or are those actually blood stains?! They cannot believe with their own eyes, Pinkie is working with them? "This is getting stranger and stranger.", Twilight thought to herself. Pinkie Jester warns to her friends of what's going on,"You guys need to get out of here!", she starts to freak out,"Please, whatever you guys do, do not screw it up or you'll--", her reaction cuts off and acts differently. Her creepy laughs is back and her creepy smile grows. She continues where she left off,"--or you'll lives happily ever after!" That face is telling Twilight something not right about her. Pinkie hops over to Applejack.
"Are you ready for some fun, AJ?", she says, having that creepy smile still.
"Ready for what?", Applejack ask uncomfortably. The two backstage crew members, Snip and Snail, drags Applejack's cage outside of the curtain, and Pinkie Jester hops along excitedly.
Once Snip and Snail dragged her cage out to the ring curb, one of them unlocks the cage's door, and Applejack steps into the ring. Pinkie hops around as if something "fun" is about to happen. Applejack sees a full audience seated all around her. In the audience, she spots Bic Mac, Applebloom, and Granny Smith cheering for her. She thought they would be worry sick about her being missing, but how they knew where she is?
"And now for my next act," says the announcer,"Applejack is going to run a coarse. It's not just any kind of coarse, it's a different kind you don't see at any other rodeo." That voice, sounded so familiar. As Snip and Snail finishes setting up the coarse, Applejack thinks it's just a normal rodeo coarse, but that is about to change. "Aaaannnnd Go!", says the announcer. Just as it said go, Pinkie Jester lit the match, blows it like a flamethrower, and catches Applejack's ass on fire. It burns like hell, which makes her runs through the coarse. The first part of it is passing the barrels. They explodes one by one as she run passes by them. Gunpowder barrels? At a family circus?! Somepony can get killed from this kind of act! Another barrel explodes, and it sends AJ flying. The fire on her ass blows out when she hits her bottom onto the ground. She struggles to get back on her feet, but she is hurt badly. Her left side of her body is nearly destroyed. Big open wounds and deep cuts with blood pouring out.
"Come on, big sis!", she can barely hear Applebloom since the explosion shattered her eardrum a little, "Get up, you can do this!" Is her sister actually enjoying me getting killed?!
"Eeyup.", says Bic Mac. Of coarse, that's all you have to say, big brother (sarcasm). Struggling to get back up, she continues on. The next part of the coarse is that she has jump over those hurdles, with knives attached to them. This seems impossible since those damn barrels had messed her left foot up, but she still can manage to keep going. She's a strong mare from apple bucking all these years. Also, she have had once won a rodeo by jumping those hurdles, without knives, a few years back. So Applejack sprints to the finish. As she jumps over the next few hurdles, one of the knives caught her stomach. It slices across her tummy, and she falls down again. The knife didn't cut her stomach open, it just made it bleed. She seems to be losing a lot of blood from all of those incident. Now she's in serious pain. She is not sure if she can go on like this. Applejack jumps over the last hurdle, and safely lands.
"Not bad.", says the announcer, "And now, Applejack is going to perform the last part of this act: riding the mechanical bull."
Piece of cake! Applejack have done this at a lot of rodeos. The sounds of an angry bull is coming from backstage. Snail drags out the mechanical bull, the bull Applejack is not expecting to ride on. Instead, it is a full body of a real bull, and is made out of gears and metals. A puff of black smoke shoots out of its nose, ready to face her.
"Oooo, this is going to be fun!", Pinkie says to Snip. That pony is out of her damn mind, how can all of this be fun?! Watching her own friend dying. The metal body bull charges at AJ, and she runs away from it. Applejack circles the curb around and around. There's no way of riding the bull with out a rope. Luckily, Snail tosses her a rope, and AJ catches it with her mouth. She turns around and swirls the rope in the air above her head. The red glowing eyes on the bull glares at the orange pony, and charges with its longhorns--real horns. Applejack jumps onto its back with her rope, and wraps around the bull's neck. The mechanical bull is angrier, and jerks wildly trying to get the rodeo pony off of its back. She holds onto the rope while having a bumpy ride.
"Woah, nelly!" The bull finally gets Applejack off, and she lands onto the ground. The pain on her left body grows even more. AJ crawls backward as the bull walks toward her. Then, it runs at her with its horn, and strikes the horn through her chest. Applejack gasps in pain as the horn drags her across the ring, leaving a trail of blood behind. The mechanic bull then walks away like nothing happened. Snail drags the robotic monster backstage, and the crowd is cheering, even her own family.
"Yep, she's dead.", says Snip through his mic.
"Good, bring her dead body to that room.", a pony answers elsewhere.
Everypony shocks as they sees Snip carries the dead body to another room.
"What have ya'll done to her?!", Twilight yells.
"None of your beewats!", Snail snaps at her.
"You better tell us or I'm gonna whack yer shit!", Rainbow Dash says angrily putting up her fists. The two disappears into another room, ignoring them.
"Oh you guys, what are we going to do?", Twilight moans.
"We definitely can not stick around, being locked up in here.", says Rarity.
"No kidding, we need to find out who's behind all of this, and get us out!", Rainbow yells as if she is talking to another pony.
"Oh my,", Fluttershy quietly speaks,"I don't know how though."
"I know!", says Pinkie popping out behind, which startles her," We are going to continue the show of coarse!" She is still having the crazy attitude like she's from a mental asylum.
"Let's see, which one of you lucky ponies would like to go next." She then points out to each of them, "Eennie meenie miney pony, if a Manticore is hungry, eats this pony!" She points at Fluttershy, and Fluttershy reacts in shock.
"Come on, Fluttershy, this is going to be tons of fun!", Pinkie hops out of the room. Snip drags her out of the cage, and Snails brought a little friend along too.
Fluttershy have tried everything, the petting, the sweet talk, even the stare won't stop the Manticore from hurting her. They are performing like a lion in a cage. The Manticore whacks her with its claws. Scratches across her face and body making her cry. The Manticore then opens its mouth, and roars. Fluttershy yells a blood curdling scream.
"Good heavens!", says Rarity, still locked up in the cage.
"Oh poor Fluttershy.", says Pinkie in her sad voice peeking behind the curtains, "May she rest in pieces." She then starts giggling.
"Pinkie!", Twilight yells,"What you mean by that?" Pinkie laughs some more.
"Get it? In pieces. HA HA HA HA!"
"Oh she wouldn't be.", says Rarity shocked. Snip and Snail comes in with Fluttershy covered with two separate sheets.
"When I get out of this cage,", Rainbow Dash scowls, "I swear to Celestia, somepony is gonna PAY FOR KILLING MY FUCKING FRIENDS!"
"Man won't this pony shut up?", says Snip. Rainbow Dash growls at her.
"Yea.", Snails added,"Two words: anger managements." Rainbow Dash silently drops the f bomb.
"Hey, I know how to shut her up!", says Snail with an idea,"How about we uh.....um......I forgot." Snip facehoof.
"I know how we'll shut her up!", excites Pinkie Jester behind, startling Rainbow Dash.
"Geez, Pinkie, are you going to keep randomly popping out of nowhere and scare us between each act?", Rainbow says sarcastically.
"Maybe, he he he. Hey, smell this flower."
"Um, ok?" Rainbow smells the lilly and it puffs out gas. It's a knock out gas. She begins to feel light, and falls down closing her eyes. She can barely hear Twilight calling out her name. Moments have passed when the blue pony wakes up on a flat wooden board. She suddenly realizes she's on a high wire.
"Hey!", Pinkie smiles at her, "Wake up sleepy head, you got an act to perform. Get up and cross the high wire. Then you'll go home." Really? She really means that? One way to find out. She gets up, and Pinkie Pie hands her a balancing pole out of nowhere. Pinkie left her, and Rainbow Dash is about to perform her act. The drum rolls in the background, and a spotlight shines on her.
"Ok, I can do this. Just need to safely cross this, and I can go home. Hopefully." She carefully steps one forward, and balances herself. Another step, and another as she makes her way across; so far so good. The audience is silently watching her. Out of nowhere, an acrobat earth pony swoosh down on a swing in front of her. Whoa! Was that pony trying to distract her? Of coarse, he or she just pop out of nowhere for a reason. A little more action maybe? Well duh! It's a circus for pony stake. Another one swings by.
"What in the name of Equestria is going on?", wonders Rainbow Dash. She tries not to be distracted by those face painted acrobats when she's only half way to the other side. They are performing the flying trapeze. One of them swings toward her, wielding a long knife. Dash knocks him out with the pole, sends him down to the large pool she didn't even notices. The male acrobat splashes into the pool and gets electrocuted. That's doesn't look good. Matter of fact, none of these acts looks good. This is a twisted, sick minded, fucked up circus ever. And the sad part is, not only she lost two of her best friends, there are fillies out in the audience watching these gruesome performances. How could their parents let their kids watches this? They are going have nightmares from all this. Two other acrobats jumps onto the wire, one in front of her and one behind. They both do a somersault toward Rainbow Dash, and she jumps, holds on the pole, and kicks them both as she swirls around.
"How did I do that?", she asks herself, "That's not important right now, but that was so awesome!" Rainbow smashes other acrobats the rest of the way. They all fell into the electric pool and got toasted. The crowd cheers loudly, and Rainbow Dash is only one step away from the other side. She turns to the audience, "Let's hear for Rainbow Dash! Rainbow...."
"Dash!", says the audience. They all simultaneously calls her name out as Rainbow dances. Being distracted by her awesomeness, she hears Pinkie, "Yoohoo!" She looks at Pinkie on the platform where Rainbow started from. Pinkie Jester is holding a pair of scissor, and it looks like she's about to cut the wire.
"Pinkie, what are you doing? That's not fair!"
Pinkie laughs and snorts,"Oh you silly shitting rainbow pegasus, you are not following our order. You're just dancing like a moron. HA HA HA!"
"Wait wait wait!!", before Rainbow turns to step forward, Pinkie cuts the wire, and Rainbow Dash falls to her death. She screams along the way down, and SPLASH, she is being electrocuted in the large pool with other dead acrobats. If only she has wings......
"All right, two more acts coming up everypony.", Snip announces backstage.
"Oooh this is so exciting!", Pinkie says as she hops excitedly around the room. Rarity and Twilight looks at each other nervously. They are the only two left in the acts, other than Pinkie Pie jumping around making jokes about their friends dying just for being a little shit. And they still don't know why she's acting all crazy bonkers instead of worrying about them getting killed, and not helping them to escape.
"All right, Rarity, you're up.", says Snip.
"Can't wait.", she says sarcastically.
"Good luck, and be careful out there.", Twilight encourages her. She's now all alone backstage. When Snip have brought her cage out, Rarity steps into the ring and looks around her. A circus music plays in the background, and an evil laugh fills in with it. That laugh sounds so familiar, which Rarity could possibly knows who's behind all this. *cough cough* Smoke pours into the ring, and a shadow pony figure stands in the doorway. Colorful spotlights dances around the circus.
"Ladies and gentlecolts, put your hooves together as the amazing, great and powerful wizard joins in the act.", says the mystery pony, who is about to reveal itself. A blue color body with white mane hair wearing a purple cape and a hat decorated with starts, steps out of the fog. "Trixie!"
Rarity shocks and can not believes it,"You?! I should've known."
"Ha ha ha! Oh face it, Rarity, everypony in Equestria knows I'm the greatest."
"Why are you doing this?", Rarity scowls at her with her teeth.
"Why? Because last time I was here, at Ponyville, I tried to show off my amazing tricks, and none of them amazed ya'll. Then when I left Ponyville, embarrassed, I was a laughing stock no matter where I go to. And now, here I am, getting my revenge on you losers."
"So what did you do our horn? To Rainbow Dash's wings? What did you do to our good ole friend Pinkie Pie? And why is the audience enjoying this?" So many questions needs to be answers.
"Well you see, neither of you can't uses your horn nor Dash can't uses her wings, because it would be rather cheating.I kept my horn, because I can do what ever I want to do. And as for Pinkie Pie, I sort of gave her some "special" treats before the show; then she went crazy. And the audience? I put an illusion spell on their eyes, thinking all of this is just an illusion, not real." All of this makes sense now. To sum it all up, Trixie is a bitch. Rarity is so angry she wants to hop onto her and rip her horn off and shove it down her throat 'till she cough up blood.
Back in the storage room, Snip and Snail are whistling while they clean up as the show is nearing to the end. Twilight spots the keys attached to Snip's saddle bag. She reaches for the keys and grabs them. She then unlocks the cage's door, and quietly sneaks to the other room. Once in there, she tries to find the light switch on the wall since it's so dark in there. *click* The lights comes on, and when she can clearly see, her reaction turns to horror then grossed out. She now knows where all the dead bodies goes to. No wonder why the room smells so horrid. Dead ponies are attached to the pole through their chest as being part of the Carousel. Why would a sick minded pony did such a thing? Who is behind all this? Again, all of these questions flooded through her brain. Scared for her life, she got so distracted from the horror, and hears a conversation behind.
"I swear I had my keys on my saddle bag.", Snip says
"Maybe she reached your keys and escaped?", Snail guessed.
"Oh, ya think?", Snip slaps him in the head. "Ow!" Twilight needs to hide quick before she gets caught.
"Busted!", yells Snip. Twilight tries to run, but Snip caught her with his magic. He carries her out to the ring.
"You're dead, you are so dead!", Rarity angers at Trixie. She laughs evilly, and Snip throws Twilight in to join them.
"Twilight!", Rarity runs over to her,"Are you ok?"
"Yes I'm fine, and--Trixie?" Rarity explains to Twilight about Trixie's evil plan. Trixie even mentioned about the Carousel.
"You are a sick, little bitch.", Twilight calls out,"Just because you wanted to show off, and turns our friends into a pathetic little ride, because it is so popular these days."
"Blah blah, let's just finish this act, and gets this over with.", Trixie ignoring.
"We're not interested in another one of your stupid acts!", Twilight yells.
"Oh come now, you don't want to upset the audience, do you?", Trixie questions.
"Look at yourself, Trixie,", says Twilight,"You're really not performing anything, you were just behind a freaking curtain watching our friends do all the stunts for you. All you did was to make ourselves looks like complete embarrassment since the first we met."
"Hmph,", Trixie snort, "We'll see about that." Trixie walks over to Rarity and pops a deck of card out of thin air with her magic.
"Pick a card, any card."
"That trick is so old and boring.", Rarity disgusted.
"Just pick one!"
"Alright, geez." She picks out a card and Trixie shows it to her.
"This card doesn't have a number nor a suite on it."
"I know, it's a different kind of card trick I would like to try.", Trixie explains. She shuffles the cards and picks out the one Rarity picked.
"Is this your card?" The card shows a letter C and flames in the middle.
"Yes, it is my card."
"This is a really good card, you have chosen. The Cube of Fire." Trixie calls Snip and Snail to brings out a giant, glass cube with a big gas tank behind it. "Go on, hop in darling.", Trixie orders Rarity. She gets in the cube, and feels really nervous about this act.
Trixie turns to audience, "Now watch closely as I drop a pile of keys in there with Rarity." A pile of keys dropped out of nowhere inside the cube. "Alright, Rarity, all you have to do is to find the right key and unlock the door before time runs out. Not so boring now is it? And let's the show begins!." The crowd cheers as the time starts counting down from 60 seconds. Rarity tries the first key, insert it in the keyhole, and nothing. She tries the second one, but nothing. She tries the third one, nothing still. She is freaking out that she has very little time left before the fire will ruin her beautiful purple mane. 30 seconds left. She has been trying each one she picked up, and still couldn't get the damn door open! Rarity tries to buck the door open with her hind legs. Trixie starts laughing hard, and so does Pinkie Jester. Everypony else laughs with them, except Twilight. 20 seconds left. If only she has her horn back, she'd be teleporting out of the cube and kicking Trixie in the ass. She kept on trying out different keys for the past 15 seconds, and none of them works. The who audience counts out loud, "5.......4.......3.......2........1!!!"
"NNOOOOO!!!", a burst of flame shoots out of the tank, filling up the whole cube. Rarity presses against the glass, screaming, as flames shoots out of her eyes and mouth. She then sinks into the cloud of fire. Twilight feels devastated she lost so many of her friends. Pinkie Pie is the only one alive, but she's already messed up in her brain. Not like she was before then where she was so random, like mentally messed up.
"Aw don't feel so bad, Twilight.", Trixie tries to cheer her up,
"How could I not? I lost my best friends."
"Lighten up, darling, we still got one more act to do."
"I just wanted to go home, and spends time with Spike."
"Speaking of Spike," Trixie points out to Spike in the audience,"Seems like your little servant been enjoying this show the whole time."
"How did Spike, Sweetie Belle, Bic Mac, and all of the others knew where we were?"
Trixie answers,"I sent them an invitation that ya'll were going to be the stars of the show. Now, pick a card, any card." Twilight picks one out, and Trixie shuffles the deck of cards.
Trixie pulls one out,"Is this your card?" It shows a letter C and a big flower in the middle.
"Let me guess, I'm going to do the same thing as Rarity did, but dies in a cube of flowers?", Twilight thoughts to herself sarcastically. This doesn't looks like a bad performance, but this is Trixie's circus, you never what you'll be expecting. Twilight nods and Trixie calls out the cannon. They all hears a cannon rolls in like a tank, and Pinkie Jester is driving her party cannon.
Twilight begins to walk to the cannon, but Trixie stops her, "Oh, and before you go, I almost forgot." Trixie uses her magic on Twilight's body for something, "Now off you go." Twilight has no idea what she did to her body, but it feels like she have swallowed some rocks into her stomach. Pinkie opens the cannon's lid, and Twilight steps inside.
"Any last words, Miss Sparkle?", Trixie peeps her head inside.
"Fine, if this will makes you feel any better, you are better than me."
As Trixie backs away, she opens a portal on top of the tent with her magic, and Pinkie aims the cannon at it.
"This can't be good.", Twilight thoughts to herself. When Trixie and the audience counted down to 1, Trixie yells fire and the cannon shoots Twilight out of the tent. She can see the entire Equestria as she flies up high into the night sky. She can even see Canterlot from here. The last thing she sees is her home, where she and Spike happily lived. Then, before her own eyes, she explodes into tiny pieces. The explosion turns to multiple fireworks. This is signaling the end of the show.
