As Twilight Sparkle slowly came to, the first things she noticed were that she was lying on her side on a cold wooden floor and that there was a light shining in through her eyelids. She instinctively tried to move her hoof to block the light, and that was when she realized that her legs were tied up. She wondered why that would be, when the memories of what had happened last night came flooding back, all those lives lost and the fear she felt when she saw the creature leading the attack. She quickly did a mental check of the rest of her body, and found that there was also some kind of ring on her horn and that her wings were strapped down against her sides. That last one was most worrying part of all of this, as it meant that she was completely vulnerable. There was no doubt about it; he had been captured by changelings. A quick attempt at using her magic to remove her bonds resulted in nothing happening, and she realized that the ring on her horn must be some kind of magic suppressor. Her hopes sank even further, if such a thing were possible. She reluctantly opened her eyes to see the monster that lead the changeling ambush silhouetted against the bright light that was shining in her face, giving her a glare that could melt a hole through stone.

“YOU ARE FINALLY AWAKE!” it said coldly.

She didn’t need to see anything to tell that it was angry at her, though when she did focus on it, she couldn’t tell anything from its emotionless dome. She also noticed that it had a male changeling that was using his magic to hold a lamp in the air, the source of light that was shining on her. She didn’t have time to dwell on any of that, however.

“Oh look the giant, ugly peppershaker wants me too talk.” She said with venom in her voice in hopes to sound intimidating.

“Don’t insult Davros when speaking to him!” the changeling shot back. He leaned in close so that they were nearly nose to nose.

“The only reason you aren’t on your way back to the capital in chains yet is because our leader wants some answers!” he rasped out under his breath. He backed up again and Davros moved in closer towards her, trying to look as imposing as possible with the lamp as a backlight.

“WHY HAVE YOU ATTEMPTED TO ATTACK THIS OUTPOST!?” Davros spoke in his usual electronic screech.

Twilight didn’t respond at first, trying to think of the best lie she could, but she didn’t have time, so she said the first thing to come into her head, “I was under orders from Princess Celestia to-”

“DON’T LIE TO ME, WE KNOW FOR A FACT THAT YOU WERE NOT UNDER ORDERS, MY SCOUTS HAVE INDICATED THAT YOU AND YOUR FOLLOWERS WERE WORKING SEPARATELY FROM YOUR GOVERNMENT, NOW SPEAK AND TELL ME THE TRUTH?!”

“As I said I was und-AHHHhhHHH!!!” before she could continue Davros blasted her with one of his hidden gunsticks, it wasn’t enough power to kill her, but enough to make her rethink her stratigies.

“YOU WILL OBEY AND EXPLAIN!!”

This time the alicorn decided not to speak at all, knowing that Davros would not kill her, she was more valuable alive then dead.
“YOU WILL TALK!!”

“...”

“TALK!!!”

“…”

“I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS,” Davros turned to face the changeling, “SOULWEEPER, HAVE SOME GUARDS TAKE HER BACK TO THE CAPITOL, ONCE THERE HAVE HER SENT TO A CELL AND INFORM THE GUARDS TO WATCH HER!”

“Yes yo–”

VWORRRP! VWORRRP!

Davros turned to see a blue box slowly appear into existence, “NO, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!”

VWORRRP! VWORRRP!

Soulweeper stared in awe, “What is it?”

Davros slowly approached the box, “IT’S THE TARDIS, HOW CAN IT BE HERE?”

VWORRRP! VWORRRP! VFLOOO! VFLOOO! THUD!

The TARDIS was shown in all of its glory for a solid second before the doors opened with smoke pouring out of it; three bipedal figures ran out of the TARDIS, The Doctor, Amy, and Rory.

“That…cough…is the last time I try to cross dimensions...cough.” The Doctor said to himself.

“Doctor, why did we need to cross dimensions?” Rory whined

The Doctor turned to look at the other male. “Were you even listening to me Rory, before the asylum was destroyed I detected a temporal flux inside the planet, Amy can you please explain it to him?”

“Which means a dalek crossed dimensions in order to escape destruction…Rory?” but Rory wasn’t paying attention to her at the moment, having a look of fear on his face that confused the other two, who had not yet realized the dalek behind them.

“Rory?”

Rory slowly lifted his finger towards Davros, “D…da…dal-”

Both Amy and the Doctor turned to see what was wrong, only to see Davros looking right back.

“DOCTOR!”
