Chapter 1: The Wonderful Friends of Awesomeness

And now we go to a planet far away past the super nova plane to a planet called Planet 55.9. This is our story.

The year is about 3651. On a Wednesday around noon. We find our two heroes watching TV and eating a couple of cookies.

"But what if I want to go and play around in the tank", Spike said as he sat nibbling on his chicken leg while on the couch watching television.

"Because it needs apple sauce gas and we are far away from any gas station. And besides whats the sudden urge to play in the tank I thought you liked to play with the helicopter?", I said in the kitchen getting a snack. While my robot leg was bumping into everything.

"I don't know. It just looks like something different that I want to do.", he said flipping through the channels using his human hand, because as everyone knows, it's very hard to use a television remote to change the channels.

"Whatever." I said as I came out of the kitchen to sit in my nice fancy recliner.

That day it was a very dull day. There was nothing fun to do outside because it was raining fried chicken. The clock on the wall just turned to 1:00 pm, and everyone was inside trying to get a signal for earth television which was very hard considering that everyone was billions and billions miles away from earth. I was looking out side at all the wonderful chicken, did I mention that I love fried chicken, and Spike was in the kitchen making a sandwich for himself. Everything was going great, but I could tell something was out of place, and I didn't like it, not one bit. "Hey, Spike, do you know where we put that 'thing that's important to the both of us' is at", I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"No", he said "I thought you knew where it was".

And then there was a loud sound which sounded like a bunch of chairs being thrown on the floor in the basement of our house. A sense of rage fell over me. What would possess someone to break into our house and how did they get in? Then we both stopped what were doing and looked at each other. Then we heard the sound again, but this time it was a little louder. I grabbed our space laser gun thing. Spike started to go for the loud sound but then it stopped him in his tracks. "Don't use that," I said very softly. "You will give us away." So he then grabbed a baseball bat with a big rocket in it. We both proceeded to walk to the stairs leading to the basement which is like a maze. The light switch to turn the lights on are at the bottom of the stairs surrounded by our pet fly traps. We both tried to go down the stairs at the same time and tripped over a rubber duck that Spike left on the stairs. We finally hit the bottom of the stairs after falling for about ten hours. To our surprise we were unharmed. We then proceed to walk into the maze.
