Camp

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Some construction ponies were having a party wrap up after the big Birthday party at the empty and quiet fair the evening after Cheese Sandwich held his party. The ponies were busy with taking down the stage, the games and rides. Party decorations in the colors of the  rainbows laid all around. But that evening under the moonlight had the ponies had seen a campsite at the lake that was not there  the last time they looked. The ponies got startled by seeing shadowy things zap by them, and they were not looking alive. Screams of help from unseen babies and fillies had been heard from the dark forest.

"Somepony help us." unseen fillies screamed from the dark forest.

"I wonder what the hay is going on there." a pony told his friends.

"From what I know there were a haunted campsite as I was a filly." the stallion told his friend.

These ghostly flashbacks of seeing long gone fillies screaming for help chased the startled ponies away from the dark forest. The stallion who knew about that place were right. For 100 years ago a campsite closed in the woods because fillies had also been followed by ghostly flashbacks. That next morning had Spike and the six ponies been send out to these haunted woods to lay these shadowy ghosts to their final rests. Spike and the ponies wandered through the sunny forest early in the morning. But then the ponies and Spike got startled by hearing loud screams from the forest. The baby dragon and the six ponies saw shadows of ghostly fillies at a camp. Spike and his friends began to have flashbacks of seeing fillies being chased by a thing in the dark woods.

"Whoa, Nelly." Applejack shouted.

But that camp haven't been there for decades. These shadow fillies had been wearing very old clothes too.

"Help us away." the ghosts screamed to the baby dragon and his friends.

"OK, I know what to do let me try the fail-safe spell." Twilight told her friends.

A purple band spread across the ghostly camp. The camp and the ghosts disappeared at last. These ghostly feelings from the camp that used to be there years ago had vanished. As the ponies and Spike walked home had it felt like none of these hauntings had ever happened. Or that there once were a haunted camp there for a long time ago.
