Orphan

For years ago another family of donkeys and mules lived in the same house where Cranky and Matilda also lived. The house laid near a forest outside Ponyville. It were an ordinary family of donkeys and mules. But one day the family of donkeys and mules had been last seen in the forest by their house one summer night. Those who made it out of the forest told the Mayor about what they had seen.

"We had a picnic in the forest that sunny summer evening, as we suddenly got started by seeing flying entities coming out of the forest." a mule told the mayor.

"Even as me and my family had lived by that forest in 4 years none of us had seen these entities, and the strange symbols made out of blood." the mule said to the earth pony.

None would go into that forest after the lost donkeys and mules, and they had been chased away by flying entities too even on a sunny morning. A decade passed, while Matilda and Cranky from Manehattan moved into the house where the other family lived for many years ago. Everypony had forgotten about the hauntings in the forest, and the vanished family. It were long before Twilight became an alicorn too. These two big city donkeys Matilda and Cranky wanted to move away from the big city, and spend the remains of their lives in a forest. Cranky and Matilda got married in Ponyville. The two donkeys lived and worked in the forest, and got Pinkie Pie from Sugarcube Corner as a friend. Then one day the two donkeys took a walk one morning in the sunny forest by the house. But a voice startled them.

"Leave." a voice told the two startled donkeys.

The two donkeys saw bloody and strange symbols on the many trees that haven't been there before, and flying entities too. Cranky and Matilda had hideous visions of violent things that happened to the last donkeys and mules they had seen in a photo albums they had left behind. The two donkeys had visions of how the family got chased by unseen things in the sunny forest. These violent visions made the two donkeys run to Ponyville. None of the two donkeys wanted to go back. So Cranky and Matilda moved to a house near Mr. Breezei's shop. That house by the forest could not be sold, until unicorn Twilight at that time made the violent visions and the flying entities stop with her undo spell. Twilight found several old photos of a family of donkeys  that also lived in that haunted house earlier. But after Twilight had cleaned the house and the forest for these things had it felt like none of these ghostly things haven't happened before.
