Of ponies and tacos
Market day, Ponyville. The sun was shining and Pegasi patrolled the skies moving clouds about and watching over the town. A certain orange background pony had her apple stall open and a hefty income coming in. Ponies had gathered around the stall throwing bits everywhere, AJ had never had such a rush and was blushing with happiness over all the money and sales she was getting.
Then everything changed when the Meccicos attacked. It was over in a second, but a blinding light shot out from the ground just inches from the town. When the light faded, a man with a huge thatched hat on and what looked to be a blanket and a cape. The man had a black moustache and a dark complexion, he seemed to be pushing a stall of some kind, with tacos in it. He wheeled the stall down toward the market seemingly oblivious to the ponies all staring at him. No pony feared to move, let alone confront the man, humans were known on Equestria since Dan the jerks apparence years ago. But they didn't normally appear, the amount of paper work that is normally done just to trade supplies between dimensions, let alone citizens.
Eventually the man stopped, took of his hat to show short, black hair and placed the hat down slowly, bells jungled on the edges of them.
"Hola Amigos, my name is Juan. Taco?" The man asked. As if on queue a pink ball of fluff appeared and gasped at the stall.
"We got all kinds of tacos amigos, just one of your money for one taco. We got vegetarian ones too si? Some much spicy. Very hot. Owy owy." Juan added, waving his hand over his tongue as he finished his sentence.
The pink ball gasped again and apparently produced a bit from nowhere, she threw it at Juan who caught it in his hat and he picked out a taco for her. Everypony else just watched. Silence had overtaken the once noisy market street, even the once tweeting birds sat lurched on their tree branches watching, waiting for the pink ball to try the humans taco. Much drama, such suppence, wow.
Fluffle Puff looked at the taco and smiled, licking her tongue out she licked it. Her eyes went wide and she stopped moving, just staring at the taco. After her standing there for nearly a minute she gasped louder than she ever had before and finished the taco in a few bites, instantly getting more bits out to buy more. Ponies began to talk amungs themselves and all rushed over t Juan's stall to try these tacos. Leaving AJ in the background.
"Don't crowd to much amigos, there are plenty for everyone si. La amistad es mamagia si? Friendship is magic. Don't worry amigos." Juan declared, taking bits and serving tacos. Pnies began to call out what kind they wanted and smepony definitely asked for 'human hands'. Juan began making more tacos from a metal tray that was pulled out from the stall. Serving food nearly an hour Juan kept at it. Filling his hat with money. AJ just stood at her stall, watching the man serve away. She stood still, not quite believing what she saw. Out of no where, Pinkie, Dan and the others all appeared in front of AJ. Pinkie had a taco in her hoof.
"Mmmmmm, these are so good. Applejack these are sooooo good, have you tried one?" The pink made asked, AJ fought a smile and shoke her head, not speaking, like a good background pony.
"Well try one." Pinkie replied, shoving her half eaten taco into the orange mares mouth. At first she refused her invader in, but eventually gave up and opened her mouth, the taco went in and the made nearly foodgasnmed at the taste of it. It was better than any food she had ever eaten before. No wonder everypony had just crowded round Juan. That taco was. Awesome. Better than any peach Twilight may have eaten. AJ tried to savoir every bit of the food, but ultimately failed when she ran out of the Spanish dish. She quickly gathered up a few bits to buy more and ran to join the line. Fluffle Puff was still buying away and Juan still getting richer and richer, his hat now sitting on a growing pile of gold on his head. 666words
Another hour or so went by and ponies began to scatter, becoming full and in need of a toilet the crowd thinned and I only a few pones remained, the sun was slowly going down now and Juan seemed low on supplies, he suddenly declared. "Last three tacos. Three bits for a special 'everything taco'." The few ponies left, AJ, Fluffle, Dan and Spike all looked for bits. Fluffle found some and brought the first, devouring it like the others, then running to find a toilet and ice. AJbrought the second, doing the same and Dan broughtbthe last. Spike stood holding two bits awkwardly, everypony else had gone home. Juan looked down at the dragon and smiled.
"Here my amigo. On the house." Juan said and winked, producing one final taco bursting with flavouring. Spike had wide eyes and ate the special taco, before burping out multicoloured flames and rushing to the toilet. Juan stood smiling, he was definetly much richer than before. He packed the bits into a cabinet hidden in his stall, placed the sombrero back on his head and began to walk off into the sunset, pushing his cart with him, humming some Spanish tune. And planning his next visit to the wonderful land of Equestria. Looking forward to it already. He smiled as the portal took him back to Mexico. Where he would sleep happy that night, and tell all his friends what had transpired. Before he went, Juan placed a card down with his details, in case the ponies wanted him sooner.
