"Where is he?!" exclaimed Fluttershy, in a great tone of panic. Obviously, she noticed that Spike was missing. She was destined to keep that baby dragon safe from anything around him. She went downstairs and asked her animal friends if they have seen him anywhere. They all chittered, roared, barked, and other animals the animals used. Sadly, they all said no to her in animal talk. They all bow their heads down in shame. "It's okay, everyone." said Fluttershy in a caring, and reassuring tone. "I'm not mad." Fluttershy then thought of Twilight coming to check on Spike. She gave out a very hyperventilating expression, and thought of how Twilight would be very mad to her that her number one assistant is missing.

Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door. It was obviously Twilight.

"What am I going to do?!" exclaimed Fluttershy. "She'll never forgive me if she finds out about this." She then thought of what she said and gave out a sad sigh. "I guess I better tell Twilight about how much of a horrible friend I am." said the yellow pegasus. SHe started to cry and went to the door, slowly. She opened the door, and saw her friends with a happy expression on their faces. They began to frown when they saw Fluttershy with her sad face with tears in her eyes.

"Fluttershy? Wh....What's wrong?" asked Twilight, a little worried

"I...I...." Fluttershy was scared to tell them about Spike disappearing without a trace. "I can't tell you."

"It's okay Fluttershy. You can tell us anything." said Applejack in a reassuring voice.

"Spike. He's...He's missing." said Fluttershy. She fell to the ground crying.

Twilight and the others were shocked to her that, they all gasped in unison and all said "WHAAATT!!??" all at once

"How did this happen?" said Rainbow Dash, comforting Fluttershy.

"I don't know." said Fluttershy. "I'm so sorry Twilight. I am a terrible friend to you."

Twilight then knelt down gave her a hug, and said "Don't say that Fluttershy. It's okay. I'm not mad."

"Yes, Darling. We are not angry at you." Rarity added

"You're not?" said Fluttershy weakly

"Of course not." Twilight said. "We'll help you find Spike." she gave out a sigh and said "I really hope he's okay." Obviously, Twilight was just as worried about Spike as Fluttershy was.

"How are we going to find him?" asked Rainbow Dash

"I don't know." said Applejack

"I...I already asked Discord to help me find him, so don't point your hooves at him, or you'll be sorry!" said Fluttershy a little stern at her friends. They were a little terrified at her anger towards them, but they agreed not to blame Discord.

"I think we should tell the Princess' about this." suggested Twilight.

"Agreed!" exclaimed every-pony.

Fluttershy gave out a little sigh, and said annoyingly "Please don't tell her that Discord did this because he didn't." She gave her friends another stern look, which made them intimidated. Her friends do know that she is a very kind Pony, but they also know that she is somepony that they don't want to piss off, or antagonize.

"I'll be sure that Owlicious sends this to them." said Twilight "But I don't think it will be easy for him."

"We should probably look for places you haven't looked, Fluttershy." suggested Rarity

"Good Idea." said Fluttershy. "But not without some help." she turned her back towards her friends. "Discord." she called. All of a sudden a glob of magic appeared out of thin air, with her Draconequus friend. "Any luck?" she asked him

Discord gave out a sad sigh and said "Sorry, Fluttershy. I'm afraid I don't know where Spike is."

The ponies bowed their heads in sadness.

"But..." Discord said

"But what?" the ponies questioned in unision.

"I did find a few pieces of little green pieces of hair from a... a mane and...a tail. I can't really describe who." He held his hand open to find pieces of the Mane-iac's hair in his lion hand.

The ponies looked into his hand and looked at the pieces of hair in surprise. Twilight was the first one to speak "No. It can't be." she said in complete shock

"What's wrong, Twilight?" asked Rainbow Dash

The Allicorn sniffed the hair and recognized the many scents of many shampoos, and gels. "It's...The Mane-iac. She took Spike." said Twilight

The Ponies gasped in complete shock. "That's impossible!" exclaimed Rarity. "She's just a comic book character that Spike read."

"How could she be real?" exclaimed Pinkie Pie

"I don't know. But for some reason, she must have escaped from the comic book and kidnap Spike." Said Twilight. She gave out a sad sigh and said "So he was telling the truth after all."

"It's not your fault Twilight." said Fluttershy

"Who's the Mane-iac?" asked Discord

The ponies turned their heads toward him.

"It's a long story. We'll explain latter." said Pinkie

"Very well, Pinkie." said Discord

"We'll do anything to find him. Right Discord?" Said Fluttershy

"Right Fluttershy, now let's go get Spike back!" he said proudly

"YEAHH!" exclaimed the Ponies in unison very proudly. They went out of the door and went to come up with ideas to get their baby dragon friend back.

Meanwhile with Spike and the Mane-iac

Spike and the Mane-iac were sleeping so peacefully in Celestia and Luna's old bed. The Mane-iac held Spike close to her suit all night long. She lifted her eyes open and gave out a yawn. She then saw Spike Sleeping like a how a peaceful, baby dragon would sleep. A warm smile crept on her face. "Aww...He absolutely looks so adorable when he is sleeping. He looks like a cute, innocent angel." she thought to herself. She gently rubbed the baby dragon back and forth with her tail tentacles. "Spikey-Whikey...." she whispered in a sing-song tone in the baby dragon's ear.

Spike heard her voice and slowly awoke from his sleep, and made a soft yawn. "Is it morning yet?" he said a little groggy.

The Mane-iac chuckled and said "That it is, Spike."

"So...How did you sleep?" said the Mane-iac with warm smile on her face

"I...I think I slept alright." said Spike, still a little groggy

"Good." said the Mane-iac in a cheerful way. "Did you have any special dreams?" she asked him

"Well...It's rather personal." said Spike scratching his head uncomfortably.

"Oh. I see." said the unhinged mare, a little bummed. "If you don't want to tell me any of you're dreams, I understand."

"No, no. I guess I can tell you." said the baby dragon

The villain gave out a little, excited smile on her face. "Oh goody!" she exclaimed. "What did you dream about?"

"I... No I can't tell you." said Spike

"No, No go on, tell me, what did you dream of?" said the Mane-iac

"I was dreaming of my friends. You know, the 'Power Ponies' that Gulp...[ defeated you." said the baby dragon a little worried of offending the Mane-iac of what he just said

"Oh... What about them?" said the Mane-iac a little angry with the two words of the ponies that defeated her.

"I had a dream of hanging out with them and...and...and..." Spike was lost for words. The Mane-iac however knew what was troubling him.

"You miss them, don't you darling?" she said

"Y...Yes. I do." said Spike, bowing his head in sadness. "But...I was worried that if I mention it to you, you would hate me, and be done with me."

The Mane-iac gasped at his response, and said "Why would you think that? And how can you say that?" The unhinged villain put her long hair over Spike, like a long warm blanket. She then pulled her close to her, touching her one-piece bodysuit. "There is nothing you can do to make me hate some-pony like you, Spike." She said in a motherly voice.

"R..Really?" said Spike

"Of course, sweetie." said the unhinged villain. "I will always love you." she gave Spike a very loving, and tender kiss on the forehead.

Spike blushed and said "Thanks."

The Mane-iac chuckled evilly and said "You are very welcome my little angel." She then lifted Spike gently with her hair by grabbing his tail to have face contact with her. "Do you feel better now, Spike?" she asked gently

"I think so. I think I am feeling better already." a smile grew on his face.

"That's the kind of face I wanted to see!" exclaimed the Mane-iac

" So now that I feel better, what should we do today?" asked the baby dragon

The Mane-iac gave a little, evil smile on her face. "I've been thinking about that." She slowly crawled to Spike, and made the baby dragon nervous about what is going to happen.

"Oh I need some water!" he exclaimed. He then ran out of the door, but the Mane-iac stopped him by locking the door with her hair.

"Hahahaha. Leaving so soon, Spikey-poo?" said the Mane-iac. She gave out another evil chuckle and said "Don't worry, sweetie. You will love what I am going to do with you."

Spike was about to run past beside her, but his arms were swiftly caught, along with his legs. His limbs were restrained like a game of Wheel of torture. The baby dragon was now becoming a little frightened about what the Mane-iac was going to do.

The deranged mare walked over to the bed, and sat on it once again. She turned Spike around and his limbs were released from her mane hair. She grabbed Spike's arms.

"Wh...what are you doing?" said Spike a little scared.

"Shh, Spikey-whikey." she whispered seductively in his ear. "You will love what I am going to do with you."

The baby dragon however fought and struggled to break free from her grasp.

"Yeah! how did you get that?" he said

"I took it from the library as soon as I arrived in Ponyville." she said

"Shall we then?" said Spike, bouncing with excitement.

"Let's shall." said The Mane-iac. She opened the book and read the last sentence on the blank page that transported Spike, and his friends into Maretropolis for the first time. The two fell in a hypnotic looking wormhole, and were spinning into it, while holding each other's hands. At this they arrived in Maretropolis in a glob of light, and saw the city on the rooftop.
