they had decapitated and sealed away the princess known as "celestia" and created a labor force of ponies to do the businesses bidding.
but what if they were wrong. what if instead of destroying equestria.. the just distroyed the link between the worlds?

Chapter 1: every story begins with a name

An abandoned train station sat just beneath the main level of the city. The station itself was nothing to look at, rusted rails, cracked tiles, and buildup of dust due to disuse for about five hundred years now.
A typical, boring, uninteresting train station. Little did the world know that this very station would be the start of possibly the most important story ever told.
On the wall between the old green newspaper stand and an old bench appeared a pink dot, not a hot pink, nor a dark pink… A cheery pink.
The pink dot grew wider and taller as chromatic sparks of every color shot out of it. The sparks grew in frequency and brightness as the wall pushes outwards, until it broke free. The wall ‘shatters’ as a portal shot open allowing a mare to step through into the human world. Her coat was the same pink as the portal, and her mane a brighter pink.
She shoved her strait hair back behind her left ear and adjusted her sunglasses before she started to trot towards the entrance of the station. She gazed up at the tall buildings until she found the six she was looking for: Ralphco, and the five towers that surrounded it. Disequine corp, or Dis-co for short.

"Time to take care of this, Pinkie." she said with a smile as she held up a disk case in the light before trotting out of the station

Chapter 1: Every story begins with a name.

Pinkie trotted into the main building of Ralphco and went up to the secretary.
"Hello, pony. What does your owner need from us today?" The desk assistant asked; assuming Pinkie was one of the pony slaves that mostly everyone had.
"Oh, nothing much. He was wondering if, perchance, I could get into the vault and talk to Celestia?" Pinkie said.
"Into the vault? Listen pony, I don’t know who your owner thinks he or she is, but nobody gets into the vault except for Ralph Vitori the 50th and his personal guard. Now move, before i call the glue makers." The receptionist said as she plucked the phone out of its cradle.
Pinkie grinned as she spoke. "I understand, but I have no owner. And my name is not pony, it’s Pinkie Pie."
The desk assistant froze in place.” Pinkie Pie?"
"The one and only. Now, if you will excuse me." Pinkie started to trot to the doors behind the desk.
The desk assistant pushed a button the ducked behind her desk; Within seconds there was a whole squad full of guns pointed at Pinkie's head.
"Why are some things never as simple as they should be…"
The squad leader smiled. "Boys! I think I can handle this one pony.."
Pinkie stood still and looked at the leader. She did not move a muscle.
"Well well well… very brave for a pony." The leader said, leveling his pistol at her.
He fired and Pinkie slid to her left, dodging the bullet.
The guards were shocked. "Scary!" Pinkie yelled.
The leader drew a gun on her again and fired. Pinkie ducked, the bullet having just missed her. The leader kept firing again and again. Pinkie somehow dodged every single shot. He soon ran out of bullets and Pinkie ran up to him and looked him in the eyes. "No skill…" She said before flicking his nose with her tail as she turned and ran down the hall.
"After Her!"
Bullets bounced off the walls as Pinkie ran. She paged through her mental map and nearly flew down the stairs.
"Okay… left, left… and right, down… left, second door on the… right!" She kicked down the door and flipped the security switch, causing the hallway to seal as she ran inside. With the guards now stuck outside, Pinkie progressed towards the safe.
She looked at the plasteel door and the passcode lock. She looked up at the cameras and smiled before blacking them out with some frosting she brought. Turning back to the passcode she used her amazing hacking skills to access the vault.
In other words, she banged on the keyboard with her face until it opened.
Just a minute later, the door opened. “One minute… A new record.”
She stepped inside and nuzzled the iron box before setting the disk case on top.
"Princess… hold on.. wait just a little while longer…" she said.
The sound of a gun cocking could be heard "Little pony… you won’t have to wait for her. You can see her… in the great beyond!."
Pinkie turned around expecting to see the squad leader. Instead, it was a man in a black suit and tie. His tie was loosened and the top two buttons of the white shirt and his jacket were unbuttoned. He had a revolver cocked and ready to fire. "I am the head guard of Ralph Co, Genesis"
Pinkie started to chuckle, then giggle, then snort. Soon she was (as anyone who chats via data streams says) ROFLMAO-ing.
"What’s so funny?" Genesis said as pinkie pointed behind him.
Genesis did not turn around...
He should have.

A tick was heard before a small colorful explosion went off right behind him. The small room was soon filled with smoke, confetti, and fragments of what was a cake slice.

Soon, the smoke cleared, and Genesis saw the tape, a spray painted smiley face on the wall behind container CH, and no pink party pony. He picked up the Disk case and looked at it.
It was an old DVD with "play me" written on the disk cover.
"Run it through the screeners, then if it checks out then get it to the boss. If he asks where I am, tell him I have to get cake out of my hair." Genesis said as he tossed the case to the squad leader; who was standing outside the vault.

The air was still in C.E.O Ralph Vittoni's office, every board of directors was standing, facing the screen.
"It can’t really be Equestria again, we blew them up, to smithereens, I tell you!" said the dapper gentleman in the top hat known as Sir Edgar the seventh.
"Well the pony did say she was Pinkie. She even had the coloring and brand of that mare." stated an African by the name of Kimichi, dictator of the sun.
"But she did not have that… ‘Poof’ of a mane" spoke the tall skinny man who was known as the first co-president of the amerizone.
"Manes can be straightened, dear brother" said his twin and second co-president.
"Gentlemen.. We will discuss this afterwards. When my captain of the guard gets here... and Him." Ralph said, leaning back on the chair and sticking his feet on the desk. His great great grandfather looked back at him, the stuffed body of the pony standing near the screen.
Ralph sighed. His namesake was the reason why Equestria did not exist anymore, His lives work was getting rid of the sun witch and her pony shaped demons. The first Ralph was the man/pony who learned the secrets of Discord, Celestia, ponification serum, and lastly about the power a good slave race can be. Ralph the first was the first link in the long chain of legacies that lead down to this Ralphs time. A chain that may break now.
"Where is he?" Ralph said under his breath.
“No need to wait, I’m right here.” Said Genesis, as he stepped into the room.
"Genesis! Sit down, what is the status of The Veterinarian?" Ralph asked.
"Well if you sent for him when you received this, then he should be here any min-" Genesis was interrupted by the doors swinging open and four guards tossing in a Grey colt with a darker mane and tail.
The grey colt stood up and dusted himself off and even dusted his beard off
"Something big must have come up or else you would not have called me here. Am I correct?"
"Yes. We have reason to assume that some underground faction is trying to scare us into giving CH to the ponies.. The remnants of P.E.R i assume. "Ralph said
The grey pony sighed "Well why don’t you kill them... That is what you do best, after all.” He sighed, turned around and started to walk out before Ralph said; "The one who delivered the disk.”
The doctor stopped suddenly. “What?”
“She said her name was Pinkie."
The veterinarian turned around.
"Pinkie... as in, Pinkamena Diane Pie?"
"The one and the same."
"Right. And you want me to see if this is the real deal?"
"Yes."
"Right then. I need a pot of tea, a plate of jammy dodgers, photos of all the ambassadors of equestria, and a fez." The vet said with a grin wide as his muzzle.
"Mr. Veterinarian... Why would you need a fez? We don’t even have any!" said Sir Edgar.
"Then I, will take your top hat." The grey pony said biting it off and tapping it against his hourglass cutie mark before sliding it on his head.
"And it is not Mr. Veterinarian... its Doctor. Doctor Whooves."

The Doctor tossed away the fake beard as he picked up the disk. "Amazing! In a thousand years they went from trains powered by ponies to digital video devices!“
He glanced over the disk "So why have you not put it in? I am sure one of you rich folks has an old player or something."
Kimichi coughed into his hand, Edgar looked away, the co-presidents suddenly busied themselves with straitening their ties, and Ralph just sighed.
"Look, Vet, Doctor, whatever. DVD's have been gone for eons. They were out of style back when Equestria invaded. Why would we have anything like that?”
The doctor sighed. "Very well… I guess I’ll just have to whip something up!"
He trotted over to the desk and started to pull out some things before finally raising his hoof in triumph "Ah ha! You kept it! You really do like me, don’t you Ralphie boy?"
The doctor spun the sonic screwdriver on his hoof and then walked over to the jukebox. He started to tinker at it, pulling away the plastic panels to get at the computer system inside.
"Hey! I hope you plan on paying for that!" Ralph said.
The Doctor chuckles, his head buried deep in the machine. "What are you going to do? Ponify me?"
Ralph sighed. "I just want to know what it says, That’s all... And perhaps if it is Equestria, perhaps..."
The other four gentlemen looked at Ralph with slits for eyes
"P-Perhaps we can really end them this time!" Ralph said, to some rousing cheers and "here heres!"
Genesis walk back in, with the flock of ambassador ponies. The Doctor piped up as Genesis hands the folder to Ralph "I think I got it, let me see... wirelessly link to the projector... bypass the security filters... Reverse the direction of the electron flow... and bang! Bobs your uncle and it now works!"

He tapped the machine, springing to life, and he headed over to the desk.
A lavender colored unicorn appeared on screen... sideways. Her mane cut around a spiral appendage that was a long horn, the mane also had two colored stripes passing down the left side of the horn.
"Rarity, you’re holding it wrong." The unicorn said, her horn glowing as the screen righted itself.
"I was being dramatic, Twilight!” said another voice, presumably Rarity, from off-screen.
"And why can’t you wear the embroidered eye patch i gave you?"
Twilight sighed and adjusted her basic black eye patch. "Because. This is serious, Not a fashion show"
"But Twili-"
"No butts, Rarity... now. Is it on?" Twilight asked
"Um, sugarcube… It’s been on fer about… a minute." said another voice, southerner accent, from off-screen.
Twilight facehoofed. "We’re going to cut this part out, right?"
Another voice, higher pitched responded. "Yeah! Yeah! I’ll get right on it after the Wonderbolts test!"
"Right..." Twilight said, uncertainly, before coughing into her hoof and restarting.
"Citizens of Earth. We, the ponies of Equestria once stood side by side with you. We helped you jumpstart your harvests again, cleaned your air, helped you learn again the value of friendship... and even invited you to become one of us."

"But a few of you denied us, claimed we were monsters, demons, even devils.”
“You ignored that we offered plentiful food, not grown from recycled Waste.”
“You turned away from the teachings of friendship, which we extended to you with an open hoof.”
“All that was fine... every person and pony has their own opinion...”
“Then you started to get violent. Bricks thrown through windows... roving gangs who wanted to... ‘Thank’ the ponies... and let’s not forget the butchers who would buy pony meat at a high price just to sell it for a tenth of a credit.”

“And even that was fine as well. Opposition is a necessity in any natural force... Just ask your Issac Newton. Some of us were... not as peaceful as we could have been either. Some of us forcibly ponified people, and even stranded newfoals in the middle of nowhere.”
“But even all of that was fine still.”
“The part that was not fine was the day you took Discord.”

“Discord… Was, and is, the most powerful weapon in existence. He is the beginning of all possible outcomes, and he is the starting and ending of any and all realities.”

“Celestia was worried, she thought that he had escaped again and was lurking in the shadows.”
“Luna herself offered to stay behind to make sure that Discord would not try anything, after all, it was a big day for Earth and Equestria. A day of union, A day of peace, and a day to help stabilize the dome. The Earth scientists said they had a way, and Celestia was willing to hear it.”

“The scientists asked Celestia if she could pose for a photograph that would go along with an article about the idea, a simple enough thing, Celestia stepping through the dome into earth…”

“That’s when the world turned upside down.”
“Two hypernucular rockets were shot into the dome. The barrier let them pass through. Fluttershy was the only one to spot them… Or more precisely her phoenix friend, Philomena.”
“After noticing, Fluttershy darted up to try and steer the missiles away, throwing herself on the nosecone of one and pushing it up to connect with the other...
My brother saw what was going to happen; he raised Canterlots shields as fast as possible. Luna added her strength to it as well.”
“The flash blinded everypony, It was as bright as a suns explosion... and almost as destructive.”
“The link between Earth and Equestria broke, nothing left of the peaceful land except Canterlot and half of Ponyville...”
“Gone was Trottingham, Las Pegasus, Appleoosa, Manehattan and Zebrica.”
“Gone were sugar cube corner, cloudsdale, and the apple family lands.”
“Gone were the good fillies and colts, many who never even ventured into your world.”
“Gone was..."
Twilight paused and touched her eye patch gently.
"Gone was kindness… The mare who tended the wounded in the battles between the HLF and the PER, who stood as strong as a blackmesh guard but stood up for everyone."
Twilight opened her eye and looked out of the screen at the men in the room.
"So I have a message, and a question. A message from Equestria and a question from me.”
“Do you know what happens when you kill kindness?“ She asked.
The screen went blank.
"What? That’s it?" Ralph asked, frantic.
"No... It is based on DVD tech. Still magic in its origin. It’s waiting for an input…" the Doctor stated, still reading the file folder.
"What is the message?" Genesis said looking at the screen
A high pitched, screeching sound shot out of the speakers, and just as soon as it started, went quiet.
"Huh... sonic signal. But wh-" the Doctor started, before he got cut off by one of the Disequine corporations towers falling over, collapsing into the other.
The screen flickered to life.
"Shall I repeat the question?" the lavender pony on-screen said, smiling.

5: Stories of the Doctor 1.1 (Pipsqueek)

As the doctor conversed with the celery, he did not notice a pair of Reddish orange eyes looking at him from around a stable. The eyes belonged to a yellow mare with a red mane and tail.
The mare stepped back into the shadows behind the stable and pulled out something from a saddlebag. She tapped a quick rhythm on the stable wall and the world seemed to ooze into the point where she tapped.

The mare took a quick look around before quickly stepping through.

~The remains of Equestria~

"Ahh, Applebloom. I did not expect you home so soon."
"Ah’ have information the mare of defense may want to hear, Zenith." Applebloom said as she dropped the saddlebag into her locker before running up to the halls of New Canterlot.
If she were to glance out the windows as she were running she would have seen a sight that was now familiar to most ponies, a sight that would haunt and horrify a pony of the past.
What was once old Canterlot was now piles of rubble at the base of mountain; when the detonation had occurred, the very stone holding old Canterlot to the mountain gave way, leading to the collapse of Equestria’s greatest city. Princess Luna had then decided to rebuild just on the outskirts of Ponyville, which in turn was renamed new Canterlot officially, most ponies still call it Ponyville though.
Applebloom passed the books and branches library, the department of uniforms, the ballroom and bakery, the rainbow factory and weather center, and the Fluttershy memorial zoo running, until she arrived at A massive door with the symbol for the New Lunar Republic engraved on its wooden face.
She thought about it, pulled out her trademark red bow that her grandmother had made for her long ago, tied it onto her head, and then knocked hard at the door.
"Enter." a voice said from beyond the door.
Applebloom opened the massive doors and trotted to the front desk, saluting to the mare of defense.
"Captain Bloom, with information for General Jack."
"At ease, Bloom. After all, aint’ we family?" Applejack said, with a smile, as she walked over to the red desk and sat down. The orange mare looked over at her younger sister and smiled.
"Of course, sis." applebloom said sitting down opposite.
"Now, What’s got your tail in a knot?" Applejack said, setting her generals cap down next to her own old and very well used Stetson.
"Well.. Remember ya’ll sent me to the paddock on earth to gather information without bein’ seen? Well, it seems there is a pony working for Ralph."
"Ahh, He has himself a stallion for a pet? Nothin’ new. Many humans have slaves just like that, even long before we showed up." Applejack looked at her sister.

"No, sis, this stallion was not a slave! He was more like, Well ah can’t really describe him. Ah mean he was the only stallion on that there farm… Not, uh... gelded."
"So, he is... someone important to Ralph?"
"Ah’ would say so, sis." Applebloom nodded.
"Did ya’ happen to catch his name?" Applejack said, reaching for her planner
"Ah shure did. One of the other mares said it was "The Doctor"."
Applejack paused, and then reached over instead to the phone.
"Code red, code-word ‘doctor’. Requesting immediate meeting, with all generals and the princess present in the war room." Applejack hung up the phone as an alarm started ringing.

"Come on captain! You have a meetin with the princess."

~Sometime later~

The first thing Applebloom saw as she entered the war room was six ponies standing around the table. As she entered, they moved to sit down.
Applejack nuzzled her sister before heading to her own chair, in-between big mac and the chair reserved for Fluttershy.
"Why has this meeting been called, General Applejack?" Luna said on her throne
"Captain Bloom has some information, regarding pony enemy number one."
"Very well, Applebloom. You may speak."
"Yes, ma'am. I was off doing mah’ mission..." Applebloom recounted what she had said to her sister earlier.
Luna listened, glancing at each pony every now and again to gage their reaction.
Applejack had already heard it, so she had no reaction.
Rarity was just listening attentatively.
Pinkie pie was bouncing in her seat.
Big Mac seemed to be frozen in attention, except for the occasional twitch of his ear.
Rainbow dash had her fore hooves folded and was listening.
Pipsqueak, Luna’s assistant, was hurriedly jotting down notes for review later.
"So, This ‘Doctor’… who is he?" Luna asked aloud.
"I-I’ve seen him."
All the eyes in the room turned to the suddenly wide-eyed colt.
"H-he’s like fire… and ice... and rage. He's the night and the storm, and the heart of the sun…" Pipsqueak spoke slowly.
"Well… It seems you have a story to tell us, Pip." rarity said with a smile.

"I-it began before I moved here from Trottingham..."

Many many years ago

I, pipsqueak, lived in Fetlocksley, a small hamlet outside of trottingham. On any other day you would hear the sounds of children playing and farmers hard at work bringing in the wheat and grain to be shipped to trottingham then distributed to the three main cities of equestrian…
…But for the last couple of weeks, foals and fillies have been going missing. The adults were scared and wondered what could have happened, "manticores, boggarts, and jabberwocks" they said under their breath.
Most ponies cried, some packed up and left, but me... I couldn’t do nothing. One of my friends had gone missing just the day before.
The adults said he was gone, snatched up by the forest.
I wanted to find him.
I grabbed my sword and my pack and decided a one day trip into the forest would have been the best idea, a trip to find the greatest hero I knew, one whose stories are even known in every city in equestria, Robbing hoof.

I knew the stories by heart and knew that he and his Cunning Colts would be stationed always at the greenwood tree in the center of the forest. I also knew that he would be willing to help me find my friend and the other foals.

How wrong I was.

The doctor looked out the window at the falling tower; he could barely make out a pink dot sliding down a zip line towards an area full of humans.
"Interesting... Genesis, Ralph? I want you two to find out what Pinkie was doing in there, I need to go see somepony..."
Genesis nods. "By somepony, you mean…?"
"Oh, no-one in particular, just the head of the grape vine… which means... I kind of need to be kicked out to the paddock."
"You do know that..." Ralph said standing up
"Yes, I do, and Genesis… Please not as hard, had to walk about with one of my eyes swollen shut last time..." the Doctor said, standing by the door.
"Sorry doc, have to make it realistic."
Genesis swung himself around and kicked the doctor square in the chest, causing him to fly through the doors and smash against the wall.
Ralph took his cue and started shouting. "GUARDS! GUARDS!"
The armored guards appeared in a minute, roughly dragging the doctor to his hooves.
"Sir?" one of them asked, aiming a gun at the grey pony.
"Get him out of my sight, and no shooting him… he still may have some information. Take him out to the paddock to work, maybe if he toils in the sun for a few days he’ll come around to our way of thinking." Ralph said, picking up the sonic screwdriver and placing it back in the desk.
"Right away, Sir."
The doors closed and Ralph sighed. "Godspeed, Doctor... Genesis, it would be so much simpler to kill that pony and follow in the paths of my grandfather..."

Genesis laughed. "it’s true... But when has being good ever been easy?"

Towers, River, and Celery

The ride to the paddock was a bumpy one. It also did not help that the Doctors left front leg was sprained. Possibly by hitting the decorative table on the way down.
"So, how far until the paddock?" he asked the guard sitting opposite him in the back of the cattle trailer being pulled by a pickup truck
The guard said nothing.
"Oh come on, you have to at least say something! If you don’t say anything you are practically a red shirt..."
The guard still sat silent.
"Oh, don’t tell me they don’t show star trek anymore..." The good Doc said, before sticking his head out the window and looking down the road.
He saw the pony by the gate before seeing the gate itself.
"Ahh, my escort. Well, if you gentlemen excuse me, I have a mare to go meet." The Doctor said, as the doors opened and he got up to limp towards the gate.
The guards shrugged and went over to a shack where a worker waited for paperwork.
The stallion trotted up to the gate where a white pony with a golden mane and tail waited "Ah, snowbell! It has been far too long…" he said
"Doctor, charming as ever… have they gelded you yet?" she said with a smile.
"Oh, they would never do that to me! I’m too important."
"Ah, yes indeed. Come doctor, I would like to converse to you on the matter of… Falling towers."

"Right away, Snowbell!" the Doctor said, playfully slapping the identical hourglass cutie-mark on her flank.

"OH MY GOD!" Snowbell said
"I know, it’s still erect! Even i can’t believe it!" the Doctor said in return.
"But I’m feeling worn out already…"
"To be fair, we did play about fifty-or-so games of Jenga already"
"It is true. Now stop playing games with me doctor... Why have you really come?"
The doctor looked out over the fields of Newfoals, geldings and mares alike. Some of them once a unicorn or a Pegasus, as indicated by the scars present on their hide.
"Equestria may be returning…" he said after a pause.
"Impossible!" Snowbell replied.
"Equestria was destroyed. Everypony knows that."
"The falling Dis-co tower was the work of somepony claiming to be Pinkie Pie." the Doctor said. “We even got a disk from twilight."
"A disk?" Snowbell asked as a white ex-Pegasus with a checkerboard mane and tail walked over.
"Mama Snowbell?" she asked as Snowbell walked over.
"Yes pawn?" Snowbell nuzzled the white pony.
"Rook and Knight want to know what the uh… tower falling was all about. You haven’t said anything about it yet." Pawn said as she drew a circle on the ground with her hoof.
"Hmm, I don’t know for sure sweetie." Snowbell said. "How about you three go talk about it over by the pumpkins, they love speculation, the more outrageous the better!"
Pawn nodded, and trotted back over to a black stallion with a checkerboard mane and tail with a rook cutie-mark and a red mare with a white mane and a sword on her flank.
"Ponies, the ones destined to rule the world… Or so most think, if things had kept going... Maybe circumstances would be different…"
"You know as well as I do, River." the Doctor said as Snowbell put a hoof to his lips. "No. don’t call me that. I am not... ‘Her’ anymore... I am, and always will be, mama Snowbell. Now, if you would be kind enough to move your time traveling flank over by the celery. You always have a knack to making it grow well.”
"Well, I have had a close relationship with it since I was five." the Doctor said, with a smile, before heading over to the patch of farmland.
"And by Celestia, I hope you are right sweetie... I do hope Equestria has returned." Snowbell said, before starting to sing in old Equestrian.

(kryxel here. i want to point out that "mama snowbell" is not mine but midnight shadows.
i just gave her a cutiemark (one was not mentioned) and a background to fit her personality.
midnight if i trod on any tails just tell me and i will replace her with a different variation.
