The long way home

*CRACK a burst of rainbow filled plasma energy

"INCOMING!!!" Rainbow screamed and imagined the cheers of her fans as she preformed at the wonder bolts try-out this Monday, she had 3 more days to practice. She pulled up right before she hit a tree, rainbows illuminating from her flank side as she zoomed past Fulttershy's cottage, she would has cleared the next tree too, if it wasn't for some pesky turtle flying around.

"TANK WATCH OU-" a bone shuddering crack was heard through almost all equestria! If she wasn't the one and only Rainbow dash she'd probable be dead right now. She had turned around nearly last second causing Tank to be deflected of her back, his propeller did a little bit of damage to her upper neck but that was the least of her concerns.

''My wings, on no, this cant be happening!" Rainbow spoke to Tank as he reemerge from his now spinning shell only to be given a look of apologetic-ness "hope i did hurt you too bad?" As if understanding her completely Tank stood up and gave her a slow smile and then rested his head. Only then did she realize what time it was. She looked at the shadow cast from Fluttershy's house, it had to be at least 7:00pm. Rainbow never usually had responsibilities so she always went to bed earlier than most ponies. She began to flap her wings to take off, she instantly felt a terrible surge of pain ravage her body.

"Flying probably shouldn't be my first option" she snarled at the though of having to walk all the way back to her house on the other side of Ponyville. though she started on the path anyways

Good thing she didn't have to go all the way, somewhere along in the middle of the twon she decided she was going to go spend the night at her secrete crush's house. She never told her friends off of fear of losing them, but after seeing Applejack and Fluttershy being so happy together she thought that maybe she could be brave like Fluttershy, that was the surprising part. Her friend that was to shy to feed her rabbit for 2 days because of a rude shopkeeper, was able to make her love know how she had wished for Applejack to be her very special somepony  She thought at how supportive the group was though their relation ship. "Hiya' Dashie, funny, i saw you crash earlier too" Pinkie gleamed at Rainbow

"Pinkie, how'd ya know i crashed earlier?" Rainbow was confused at how she already made it to sugar cube corner.

"I always like watching you fly, sometimes it even better than watching a cupcake bake!" Pinkie pie was unfazed by her question, she assumed Rainbow like preforming for a crowd

"You've waited for a cupcake to/ ah, ouch sorry" Rainbow flinched when she tried to cock her head and her previous wing soreness had returned alone with other aches and pains

"That's ok, do you want to come inside and rest for a bit?" Pinkie look genuinely concerned with Rainbow's pain.

This was made Rainbow feel a small sense of hope in what she was planning on telling Pinkie

"Yes please!" Pinkie turner around and unlocked the door, the bakery was usually closed at this hour and with all the recent sales the cakes decided to take a trip to filly-delphia to visit some other family. Pinkie enjoyed spending time by herself with the bakery, but spending time with Rainbow definitely takes the cake! She sat Rainbow at the table across from the hearth and through some logs in, she then grabbed a rose head and lit the fire.

"Why you burn that rose?" Rainbow cared less about the rose and more about the meaning behind burning it.

"To be: Geluk met liefde" Pinkie smiled a more real smile that showed her more compassionate side. Rainbow Dash knew she had heard that before, Dutch she thunk.

"ok then..." Rainbow stared into the fire, the dancing flames seemed to soother her into a more mentally relaxed state Pinkie stood up and walked into the kitchen, when she emerged she was holding two tasty looking bowls of extra oat chips ice cream. She placed the bowl down in front of Rainbow buying her a confused look.

"What? Ice cream always makes me feel better!" Pinkie shrugged and smiled at her friend

"well thanks I guess..." Rainbow took a spoonful and ate it swallowing it too quick to taste it first, she gagged a bit Pinkie giggled

"I'm guessing you tasted the special ingredient?" Pinkie smiled while chuckling a bit

"You spiked the ice cream?" Rainbow was more impressed than shocked, Pinkie usually didn't like to drink unless they were at parties, and never something this strong. "That's awesome!" Pinkie's face turned a darker color of pink than normal, she didn't get complimented often. They finished the ice cream contently in silence, which was weird because Pinkie once had to run ahead of the train because she couldn't sit still long enough.

"you look tired Dashie" As Pinkie said that chills went down her spine and made her wings tingle a bit. She absolutely loved being called her nickname. "Do you want to hit the hay?"

"sure, Well I'm not quite tired yet, hear lets go upstairs anyway" Rainbow Dash grabbed her and Pinkies Bowl and put the in the sink as the both walked upstairs. Pinkie stared at Rainbows perfectly toned flank as in moved with each step, not only was Rainbow Dash a beautiful pony, but she was sexy! Really sexy, like the models Photo Finish takes pictures of. As they reached Pinkie's room, Rainbow took a seat next to the window looking at Pinkie, She couldn't help but admire how amazingly radical that pony was, she had some much energy she could probably  last in bed a good twenty minutes, Rainbow blushed at the thoughts of such things.

"What?" Pinkie looked a Rainbow and she knew she had been caught blushing which only made it worse

"Nothing, just stuff" Rainbow smiled at her hooves. "What's all that stuff?" Rainbow nodded at a board which had several pictures of Pinkie with all her friends pinned up in a cork board, but she couldn't help but notice how many times she was no there.

"That's my board of important stuff" Pinkie smiled and blushed when she realized what Rainbow was looking at. "You cant put all your memories on a board but you should if you can!" Rainbow moved in to the board to examine it closer, there was lots of drawings and pictures of her. She laughed when she saw a picture of Pinkie's first two mare crushes getting hit by a wagon bus.

"That's really cute.." She continued looking and smiling while she walked backwards onto the bed next to Pinkie Pie, she could tell she was doing the right thing.

"Rainbow, I wanna tell you something" Pinkie started Rainbow got a look of surprise on her face then smiled and tears formed in her eyes "Did i say some-Muhphfffff" She was cut of but a certain cyan pegasus snout pressed against hers. The warmth that enveloped her body was the greatest feeling in the world.

Nothing could stop them now, Rainbow pushed Pinkie's tongue into her mouth between the kisses, their tongues met and danced, The feeling like none other in the world, more exhilarating than preforming  in the wonder-bolts a thousand times and sweeter than eating a thousand cakes! When the finally pulled away a signal strand spit kept them connected the both giggled and Rainbow went at it again, this time pulling Pinkie closer with her hooves against her cheeks bracing it for a bombardment of wet, sloppy kisses.

The made out well into the night and when they were finally too out of breath the both lay on the bed facing the ceiling, Rainbow was hugging Pinkie pie close, her aching had been long gone, now lay with her beautiful mare friend. She then burst out laughing!

"BWAHAHAHAHA *snort* AHahahaaa" Rainbow wiped the tear from her eye.

"Did tell a joke and miss it?" Pinkie sat up and looked at Rainbow Dash, Rainbow took off her underpants and was now stark naked under the cover. Pinkie blushed as Rainbow pulled it up and showed Pinkie the tag which read

'Geluk met liefde' and under that read 'lucky with love'

Rainbow leaned in and gave her one last kiss before putting back on her underpants and hugging her way into a deep sleep...
