Saving Spartan 117
John had decided that he had finally got enough after the death of his only friend, and was about to embark on his last mission, but what happens when somebody has other ideas for what he was going to do next.
John…Spartan 117…No matter what you call him, he's still the same man who has saved the universe multiple times. He's defeated hundreds of the Covenant, killed the Didact…lost his only friend in the galaxy.
What happens when he decides he's finally had enough, that it's due time for him to finally relax, find a nice planet to live on, and have a life. John was going to quit the UNSC after one last mission, but somebody had other plans. Now John is lost, confused, and doesn't know what to do or where to go, and he only has one group of mares he can turn to for help to get over his past.
A shameless Halo crossover that's probably going to fall flat on its face somewhere, but for the time being, I decided why not. And if I do get a few facts mixed up or just completely screw something up, don't be afraid to let me know. I love to know what I've done wrong and am always willing to fix the problem.
Halo is now owned by 343 Industries and Microsoft, all things Halo related are owned by them. If you have never played any of the Halo games, don't worry, we'll try our best to explain anything important. If it is not explained in detail, then it won't be important.
And as for the fact that no one has ever seen John's face as an adult, I'll be using my own headcanon.
