Chapters The Death of Innocence (Introduction)
“Why do you spend so long brushing your coat?” Sweetie Belle asked when her sister finally came down after her morning ritual, “I get why you do it with your mane, but your coat isn’t in a special shape, it just lies flat. Mine only goes in the bath and it looks the same.”
“It’s not just about how it looks, dear. We’re talking about perfection; my coat has to feel just as good as it looks. It feels like spun silk, not coarse and greasy like most ponies’.” Rarity smiled to herself and preened a little. She was not modest about her appearance, but she was not as arrogant as many thought that she was. She merely made a point of being exactly as critical of her own appearance as she would have been of any of her creations, and so she was frank about how utterly stunning her body was.
Sweetie came up beside her and nuzzled her curiously. The fur against her nose was indeed very different to her own, cold and sleek where hers was fluffy. The long brushing had also cleared it of all soapy taste. She started licking it into little curls to try and get a rise from her sister. It was a game they played often: she would tease Rarity, and Rarity would pretend to find her ‘insufferable’.
“Stop that, Sweetie. It took a long time to get it that way.” The designer edged her playful sister away and started to walk to the front door, only the slightest hint of annoyance in her voice. The unsatisfied little filly couldn’t resist winding her up a little further. She cantered after the mare and gave her one last hard lick. Rarity shrieked and kicked her away.
What in Equestria? Why had her sister flipped like that? That kick had really hurt. Her front legs had fallen to their knees at the shock, and now they wobbled as she rose back up. She looked tearfully up towards her gushingly apologetic sister. She saw, to her horror, that Rarity was neither gushing nor even apologetic; the cruel mare was glaring daggers at her. “Go to your room. Now!” Sweetie had never heard anypony but Twilight achieve nearly such a harsh tone.
+++++
Sweetie Belle was distraught. Why was Rarity so angry? She mustn’t have been herself, to use one of her own expressions. But why, when Sweetie had been doing exactly the same thing just seconds before? The only difference was where she had licked. She sat and stared down between her hind legs. Did that … hurt? How could it, when sitting down on it didn’t? She had to know what had gone so badly wrong with her lovely sister. The most perfect mare in all of Equestria couldn’t be so beastly without good reason. Sweetie must have done something horrid to the one who she loved even more than anything, but she didn’t understand what. Her tiny chest felt like it was being crushed, and she knew that it wasn’t because of the kick. She gingerly reached down with her tongue.
The folds of flesh under the fur surprised her for a moment, but then she remembered feeling them on Rarity before a sharp kick in the ribs had made her forget. They weren’t anything to worry about. Still, it didn’t hurt. Was it because she had licked Rarity so much harder? She would try again, but harder, even though she was sure it would hurt like fire when she did it right. Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad if she just kept doing it a tiny bit harder each time. She could stop as soon as she had felt it herself. She just had to know what she had done to Rarity.
Soon she was snuffling away industriously between her own hind legs, whilst doing the same to her sister looped endlessly in her mind. How could Rarity have hated Sweetie making her feel like this? Two of her little hooves were twitching in the air above her. She soon reached her climax and was taken completely by surprise when a hot jet shot up her nose. Her hind legs went into spasms, she jerked her head back, she spluttered, she sneezed explosively, and she did it all at once. Between it all she actually kicked herself in the side of the head, quite hard.
She felt great, but she was still clueless over Rarity.

She Hunts at Night & Crossed Wires and Broken Friendship
Sweetie Belle couldn’t sleep. She was walking in circles on her bed, fuming silently. When Rarity had at last returned from her gem gathering and seemed to have forgotten the morning’s incident Sweetie had seen her chance to find out what had really been going on. The only possible explanation was that something was different with Rarity’s … whatever it was. And so, she had decided to investigate:
~Rarity was chopping carrots on the table, humming something indistinct around the handle of the knife. Sweetie trotted up just behind her. “So, how did the hunting go? Did you find much?” she squeaked. She waited until her sister was deep in her story. Making sure to keep as much distance between herself and the lovely plot before her, she cocked her head and loosely took the purple tail in her mouth. She gingerly pulled it out of the way and got a look at a set of hindquarters which seemed very similar to her own. Puzzled, she leaned in to look a little closer.
She was on the floor, again. It really hurt, again. Her sister was giving her that disgusted look, again. She started to rise unsteadily to her hooves, again. Rarity’s front right hoof rose off of the floor. It crashed sickeningly into her cheekbone. She was on the floor, again. “What the hell?” she heard the older mare scream, “What is wrong with you?” The filly was terrified. Her lungs heaved in air, her joints went limp, and she felt tears running across her face and dripping off her temple. Rarity had lost it. Her sister was going to beat her. Anticipatory scenes of horrible brutality ran through her imagination. What if her back broke? She was only a filly, it was quite possible, and if that happened she might never walk again. Who knew what this monster in her beloved sister’s skin could do? She might die. She couldn’t even scream through her hyperventilating sobs. A slam of sickening force came. Her attacker had stormed out.~
How could she possibly lie down and sleep in peace when such a transformation had come over Rarity? When her sister was hiding something that had happened to her, awful enough to turn the perfect pony into such a vile mare? Her dear sister had brutalised her. She thought of what agony the gorgeous mare must be in to even consider doing what she had done to her own adorable sister. Her will hardened. No matter how scary it was, no matter that she may well die in the attempt, she had to help her hero in any way she could. But she had to find out the cause of the problem to be of any use. She jumped down from the bed.
She slipped in to the dark bedroom as quietly as a cat (quieter, certainly, than Opal ever was). From just inside the doorway she could hear her sister moaning in pain as she slept, the hint of pleading in that beautiful voice breaking her heart. She would go through dragon fire to ease its owner’s pain. Ever so slowly, she wriggled her way to the foot of the bed on her stomach. A momentary pause to rally herself. The top of her head popped over the edge of the bed and stared cautiously at her sister. Her fears were confirmed. She could see the insides of the slit clearly, it being held open by the strange position of the rest of the body. Rarity was on her back, with her hind legs stretched out and apart; it looked deeply unnatural. The exposed flesh itself was clearly painful: it was bright red and swollen, it was even covered with a thick film of secretion. A hoof was subconsciously scratching at its edge.
Sweetie now understood her sister’s unthinking reaction. Her rough tongue on such a sore must have been acutely painful. That hoof couldn’t be helping things at all, but Rarity was clearly itching badly down there. Swallowing her disgust at the pussy mess, the foal decided to help as far as she could. She knocked the hoof gently aside and started to run the soft fur of her cheek in light strokes along the wound, hopefully it would be enough to satisfy the itch without causing further damage. After maybe a minute the larger body started to shudder. A strangled gasp made Sweetie look up just as the first true spasm came. She was staring into Rarity’s saucer-like eyes. Neither could move, or even think, for several long seconds as stream after stream left the elder and soaked the younger’s downy chest fur. After those few seconds the patch looked like it had just been in the bath, and the steamy liquid was running down onto her stomach.
“Sweetie Belle,” the voice was utterly hollow, “get out.” A small twitch showed itself above the left of the top lip on the deadpan face. “Get out of my house.”
The soft white filly bolted through the rain.
+++++
An orange hoof hammered furiously on the door. The sound of somepony galloping heavily down a flight of stairs added to the din. The door was jerked open and Rarity squinted out.
“Mind tellin’ me what the hay is goin’ on?”
“Urgh. What is it, dear? I’ve been asleep.”
“Mind tellin’ me why yer sister came jumpin’ into my bed in the middle of a stormy night?”
Rarity gave Sweetie Belle an appalled stare. “Apple Bloom said that I couldn’t sleep with her because she was sick,” the mumbled explanation came from the filly’s hiding place behind her saviour’s legs. Rarity’s mouth fell open.
Her brain reengaged a couple of seconds later and she started apologising profusely. “I am so sorry. I didn’t realise that she would do … that. Something truly vile has come over her, these past few days. She did the same to me, that’s why I kicked her ou…”
“WHAT?” Applejack’s voice could have stopped a train, “Sugarcube, you’d better not be tellin’ me that you threw Sweetie out into that storm just because she jumped on you in the night.”
“I knew she would just go to a friend’s house. I realise that I over reacted, but really, what could you expect m…”
“Shut. Yer. Mouth.” Rarity had to cower away to keep their muzzles apart. “Ye’r disgustin’. How come the Element of Generosity can be the most selfish pony Ah know? Ye must be the worst sister since Nightmare Moon,” AJ sneered, “Ye went an’ put Sweetie through all that fear, hurt and rejection just fer breakin’ yer comfort? If she didn’t love you more than anythin’ else in the world, Ah’d buck you in the face for her right now!” The earth pony stomped away, her face contorting as she snarled angrily to herself. Something about beauty sleep not being able to fix what a good beating would do.
Rarity looked shell-shocked.
+++++
Sweetie Belle sat sadly in the corner of the dress-making room, head drooping. She sighed, screwed up her courage and opened her mouth, “Why don’t you love me?” Rarity turned to look at her, pain filling her eyes.
“I do love you, Sweetie. I swear, I will never do something so monstrous again. I have been quite awful to you; you are just a confused little filly after all. You cannot, however, keep acting like you have been. I love you ever so much, and I am so very sorry for what I did, but you just can’t do that. It isn’t something you can do with family, no matter how much you love them.”
“But I was talking to Apple Bloom about it this morning, and she said the opposite. She said that Big Mac and AJ did it to her and to each other and they all had a great time doing it, because they loved each other. She said that you could only do it with family, and shouldn’t even talk about it to anyone else.” Rarity didn’t even respond to her sowing machine ravaging her latest creation; she seemed to be freezing in place a lot recently. “I’ve always known you didn’t love me as much as Apple Bloom’s sister loves her,” a wince, “but do you really not want anything to do with me? I saw how much you liked it, until you woke up and saw that it was me. Would you really love any old stranger that much more than you love me? Why? What do I do wrong, why do you always hate me?” Hot trails were now soaked into the fur on Sweetie’s cheeks.
“Apple Bloom said… what…?”
“You, you didn’t even listen! You don’t even care that I love you! You don’t care how much you hurt me!” Sweetie Belle galloped to her room, only pausing to pull herself back up on the two times that she tripped forwards while running up the stairs.
She threw everything but her bed against the back of the door, barring it shut. When her heartless sister finally bothered to come up and knock, she screamed wordless bile at the door, searing her throat.

Please only leave the constructive type of criticism below. (Well, I'm fine with the not constructive type as well if it's amusing.)
If you just want to tell me that you hate me, then there's a down-pointy-thumb at the top of the page for you to use.
I'm not too happy (read: not happy at all) about my dialogue, it just seems too choppy. I'm also not sure how well I managed to imply the complete mismatch between what happened and what Rarity thought had happened. Feel free to join me in bitching about it in the comments below, I enjoy the company of a good complainer.

Nightmare in Carousel Boutique & And Then the Guns Went Quiet
No apology came from the corridor. Images of her sister’s begging apology, the wretched realisation of how she treated Sweetie, having her as a loving sister again as she had been when Sweetie was a toddler, even of her just saying something to Sweetie which wasn’t a warning or a reproach; they all disappeared as she heard Rarity walk away. Throat burning, Sweetie Belle pressed her face into the sheets. Her face was as hot as Rarity’s … whatever that was called … had been last night and her soaked cheeks quickly made everything damp and sticky, nonetheless she scrunched the covers around her head with her fore hooves, feeling as if burying herself in them hard enough might help her feel less hurt.
She bawled into the sheet until her chest couldn’t support more than a sob and her eyes had run out of water to cry, she could think of nothing but Rarity as her memories played in an endless torture. She was shown the memories she wanted so badly: of when she was tiny and Rarity had been the best sister in the world, when the future designer had made her very first outfits to put on her, when her older sister had licked her tummy to tickle her, when Rarity brought her out to play with all of her big friends. These pictures were twisted into reflections of what she had lost, however, by the many more which came between them. She was never anything more than an annoyance, Rarity would prefer for her not to exist at all.
~Such delirious fantasies merged seamlessly into true dreams and it is entirely uncertain when she fell asleep, but fall asleep she did. Her imagination eventually relented, and left her with one nice hope before going to sleep itself. It was a very shoddy scenario, the surroundings hardly even existed, but the object it focused on was in perfect detail. How could Rarity, even summoned up by an exhausted and fraught mind, be any less? “Sweetie, I’m sorry. I love you, I really do; I’ve just been so wrapped up in work ever since I took over the boutique that I haven’t been able to spare a single thought. Do you still love me?” A firm, mute, nod.
Rarity’s face went soft in relief. She cantered the few steps between them and rubbed her head back and forth against the side of Sweetie Belle’s neck. The little filly could feel a lovely tingle when the horn rubbed her fur the wrong way with every other stroke. “Oh, I love you so much. Never leave again.” She was engulfed in a hug as her big sister squeezed her and rubbed her muzzle in a most unladylike manner. It all faded away just as their jaws locked together (Rarity felt oddly clumsy and shy, but that was just because Sweetie’s mind only had Scoots’ fumbling advances to work with).~
+++++
Sweetie Belle woke slowly, feeling heavy and hemmed in. After a stupid pause, her brain resolved that these feelings were in fact external, rather than a symptom of melancholy. There was a body folded around her back, a pair of legs resting on her side. She squirmed around in disbelief and happiness. She stopped when she was on her back, it felt deeply unnatural but it was the closest she could get to facing Rarity without leaving her loose hold first.
She laid her head on its side and nuzzled the neck in front of her. The light blanket of purple mane between her head and the pillow felt incredible. Sweetie poured all that she could into feeling everything to its fullest. With Rarity here, like this, they could be just as she wanted them to be. Maybe they could be? Surely her sister had come because she was sorry. After what happened when they were last in the same bed, there must surely have been a change of heart? For now Sweetie drove of all such distracting thoughts and just breathed the beautiful mare in. The sun had not yet fully risen, and Rarity was not a “morning pony”. She had a few hours of bliss to come, at least.
With the Crusaders’ ingrained optimism, she even dared hope that it could last longer than that. Maybe these dramatic events had been the death throes of her sister’s coldness. Maybe Rarity had found it in herself to love her little sister again.
+++++
After several brief hours of snuggling, she felt Rarity’s silky chest change its rhythm against her snout. Her big sister squirmed slightly and then stretched around her, all without opening her eyes. This was it; in seconds Rarity would either be professing her love for her or screaming at her for getting to close again. Sweetie cowered slightly, whilst also keeping her snout pressed happily up against the silky coat, she was utterly unsure of what would happen and what was best to do now. A long groan was groaned as the mare shuddered, having reached the limit of her stretch. She fell back into her sleeping position, but with her eyes open. She leaned her head down and kissed her sister’s forehead, causing even more forceful snuggling as the happy little filly seemed to try both to crush her ribcage and, at the same time, to bury herself inside it. “Good morning to you too, Sweetie,” smiled Rarity, “I … I came to try and make up with you. I realised that I’ve acted in the most atrocious manner over the last couple of days, and maybe I wasn’t so great even before that. I should have talked to you rather than just losing my temper repeatedly, I certainly should never have struck you. I am sorry. I do love you so much, underneath it all, you have to believe me.”
Sweetie was practically squealing by this point. “So you do love me! You’ve thought it through and you’re ok with it now! Oh, I love you so much!”
Rarity put a hoof on her chest, firmly but not pushing her away. “Yes, but no. I do love you, and I realise now how I’ve been neglecting you, but I am certainly not fine with that.”
The filly frowned in a puzzled way, “Why not?”
Rarity rolled onto her back, disentangling herself from her sister, to stare at the ceiling. “It’s just wrong with family. I know you said that Apple Bloom and her family do it but I’m not sure that I believe you. Even if they do, it’s weird and wrong. For Celestia’s sake, Big Mac! His … it’s almost as big as she is! How do…? No, no, no, I don’t want to think about it. We just can’t, alright, ponies have always been against siblings having sex, always.”
“But you haven’t said why. It sounds stupid to me. And you know that Applejack would never do anything that she thought was wrong. She’s one of the best ponies we know. An’ Apple Bloom says that Big Mac uses her mouth instead and she’s learnt how to keep her throat open, that’s why she won that speed eating competition. She said that she can feel it inside her chest.”
Rarity pulled a disgusted face, but her hips started to squirm slightly. “Well, it’s because the babies they make almost always end up horribly ill or disabled because of it, it’s called inbreeding.”
“We can’t have babies, Rarity. We’re both fillies. Silly.”
A pause, “Even so, you’re still a foal! You certainly can’t have sex with foals, and I am most certainly not a foalfiddler!”
“But I remember Pinkie once saying that you would probably sleep with anything, and that Spike was lucky because he’d fallen for the only pony in town he had a chance with.”
“PINKAMENA DIANE PIE, YOU UTTER BITCH!”
Sweetie flinched, but plunged on, “And why not have sex with foals anyway? I like it, and it's not like it's anyone's business but ours. You still haven’t given me an actual reason for anything. It doesn’t matter that I’m your sister or a foal, you aren’t exactly going to get me pregnant. I think that you’re making excuses.” She jumped up and straddled her sister,
“Am I not cute enough?” She saw Rarity’s eyes run up and down her body.
“No. No, you certainly are cute.”
“Didn’t I make you feel good when I did that? Don’t you want me to feel good?”
“Well, yes, but…” Sweetie sat down heavily on her sister’s stomach, noticing how her spread legs made her lower lips sit open against her the smooth skin beneath her. She pouted and made the soppiest puppy eyes she could. “Well, maybe, no sex, but maybe, we could be a bit more physical, I guess,” Rarity made it sound like a question, “there couldn’t be any harm in that.” She slowly put a foreleg up around Sweetie’s neck and dragged her in for a kiss. They spent a lot of time in that first kiss, lips hardly touching, almost chaste. Rarity gently moved her hooves back and forth through the two-tone mane. Sweetie couldn’t even think of anything other than the kiss itself. Rarity eventually parted their lips for a moment, when they came back together their jaws opened wide, their tongues went adventuring, and all hints of moralising were discarded.
Author's Note
This one seems very mushy to me, but maybe that’s just because feels always make me *ahem* feel *ahem* uncomfortable. It’s the first chapter that wasn’t written in one sitting at about 2am (it turns out that I’m now too busy to devote that much time to it in a row, even in the middle of the night), so it may read very differently, please do tell me off if you don’t like the result. I’m not sure how convincingly I’ve portrayed the change of heart in this chapter, it may look like she just suddenly flipped personalities.
Sweetie was practically shaking with hidden excitement as Rarity took her up to their bed. It had been some months since they had come to an understanding on their new relationship, and they had been as close as it was actually legal to be ever since. After a long period of subtle advances and displays of cuteness, she was now hopeful that her goal was about to be achieved. Rarity had seemed uncomfortable and fidgety all day. She was obviously in heat, and Sweetie finally felt secure enough in her affections to make her ultimate move.
She let Rarity start to tuck her in, then put her plan into action, “Why don’t you go to bed at the same time as me tonight? You’re always complaining that you’re tired when you have work keeping you up, but you don’t try to catch up when you don’t.”
“Well, I suppose so. I am feeling a bit off today, with any luck it will have gone away by the time I wake up tomorrow.”
“I’m sure it will,” Sweetie smiled innocently up at her sister. She shuffled over slightly as the mattress tilted under Rarity’s greater weight. She snuggled up to the mare, buried her face into the graceful neck, and then she waited. Eventually she heard her sister’s breaths slow down, and soon afterwards she started to feel the slight twitching which meant that Rarity was wrapped up in an uncomfortable dream. Between the state she had been in throughout the day and the burning heat that Sweetie Belle could feel against her shin, there was really only one thing that the dream could be about. Sweetie wriggled slowly up until their muzzles touched. After pausing for a moment to feel Rarity’s heavy breaths in her own nostrils, she licked her lips and pressed them gently against her sister’s closed mouth.
She pressed on the soft lips repeatedly, never breaking contact in between, and the little pushes within the drawn out kiss slowly opened the sleeping mouth for further exploration. The little filly had soon opened a gap wide enough to accommodate one of her lips. Taking one of Rarity’s lips inside her own left her heart hammering and her lungs heaving; better yet, her sleeping sister was reciprocating passionately. Sweet as the situation was, it was over quickly. With both ponies so excited it only took a moment to go from there to lustful, hungry snogging. The thick, flat tongue lapping at the insides of her mouth sent Sweetie up to a new level of joy. Guided more by enthusiasm than by ability, she started to rub at Rarity’s slit with the side of her hind hoof.
Then Rarity pulled away. Her head hovered just over the pillow, inches from Sweetie’s own, her eyes wide. Sweetie quickly pulled herself over her and rejoined their lips. She was gambling everything on their newfound bond, the raging of her sister’s loins and the feeling of her own young body pressed up against her. The Lady was smiling on her. Rarity plunged strait back into the kiss, and then rolled the filly over.
Their lips broke apart again and Sweetie felt Rarity trailing a line of kisses down her body, not tenderly like in those books she had for when she was alone, but fiercely and urgently. Sweetie felt the muzzle being pushed into her thick fur again and again, but in such a rush. She felt one which had actually got down to the soft belly between her hips, a drawn out kiss finally savoured, a hard suck which actually put her skin in Rarity’s mouth, another withdrawal, and then a pause. She lay unmoving as she enjoyed the feeling of her sister’s hot breath surging against the insides of her thighs. A hoof came up and pulled one of her lips aside, laying her tender insides bare. She felt Rarity’s head glide in closer between her thighs. She couldn’t stop picturing that wide, rough tongue pushing deep inside her, flooding her with satisfaction. She felt another kiss, so light this time that it hardly touched, and then the head withdrew half a foot.
Her hind legs started to shake, her slit was dribbling softly and she felt ready to scream. Then Rarity slowly traced the inside edge of her lip with the tip of her horn. Without meaning to, Sweetie whinnied pleadingly. The teasing ivory point moved slowly over to sit loosely against her opening, sending her vision blurry with pleasure and longing. It pushed in, taking several seconds for every inch, and didn’t stop until it was buried right up to its thick base, so that she could feel her sister’s forehead against her tender flesh. Rarity started to draw back out, slightly more quickly, and time lost all coherence.
Sweetie had everything she wanted, she had it completely and utterly, and it was bucking her brains out.

First attempt at big descriptive clop, so tell me what you think below (as ever). Sorry for how long that took to finish; I never really managed to portray Rarity’s conversion well enough for my mind, but I decided that I never would be able to, so I just posted the best that I could do.
