The Castle

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

The next morning.

Gold was the first to wake. “Damn... my fucking head hurts like a bat out of hell.” he grumbled, still lying in bed

Heart’s eyes fluttered open and he managed to sit up, before the headache hit. “Wow… major headache.” He was still slightly dizzy, so he just flopped back down on the ground.

Silver groaned loudly as he woke, instantly finding his mind wrapped in a headache. He didn’t even bother opening his eyes. He’d fucked himself up enough times to know what happens when his mothers sun lights up his bedding area after doing something like last night. “No mother! My head hurts!” He moaned, covering his face with his pillow.

After lying there for a few minutes, Gold emerged from his sleeping bag and donned his usual armor before leaving his tent and sat down on the ground near the fire pit.

“Gold!” called Heart from his tent. “Need you for a sec.”

Gold mumbled something under his breath as he walked over to Heart’s tent and walked in, “What do you want?”

“I need you to exert a massive amount of force to the right side my face.” He replied.

“I’ll be happy to oblige.” Gold spoke in a gruff tone, curled his hand into a fist, and clocked Heart in the face, just as he had asked.

Heart’s head snapped around and his neck cracked as he realigned it. Now completely awake, Heart stood up and placed a hand on Gold’s shoulder. “When this is all over... you, Silver, I’ll buy ya drinks. As much as you want.” Heart rubbed his face where it had been hit. “You still got it, Gold. Proud of you.”

Having heard the loud strike of bone on bone, due to the fact that Heart’s tent was right next to his, Silver’s ears perked up. “Aw man. He went there.” he groaned as the zebra pulled himself out of his sleeping bag, not without pain shooting through his head, making him wince. He pushed his way out of his tent. “What the hell’s going on!?” he growled, but was greeted by a clock to his jaw, knocking him off his hooves. Damn was he awake now! Not. Silver had been knocked clean out as soon as his face hit the ground. ‘I’m gonna kill whoever sucker punched me like that!’

“I never said to hit him!” yelled Heart’s voice as Silver blacked out.

“Heart, hit me.” Gold said. “Give it all you got.”

“If you say so.” replied Heart, punching him in the jaw.

Gold staggered backward a few steps, “Damn, when did you get so strong, Heart?” Gold asked, now that he was wide awake, rubbing his jaw where the strike connected.

Heart didn’t answer. “Should we wake up Silver?”

“Yeah, we should.” Gold answered.

“He’ll be pissed, so prepare yourself.” warned Heart before his horn glowed and a white aura surrounded Silver.

“I know, I know.” Gold monotoned.

The zebra’s eyes snapped open as he bolted upright. Silver quickly brought a right hook around and caught Heart since he was the closest to him, knocking the unicorn on his ass. He then sent a pulse of magic at Gold, knocking him back into his tent. “Which one of you fuckers sucker punched me!?” He roared as he shakily stood.

Heart felt a little disorientated, but managed to clamber back to his hooves. “You hit hard, kid. Anyway, Gold got you before.”

“Damn… now I know not to piss of a unicorn.” Gold groaned painfully as he picked himself up.

“Hey Gold.” yelled Heart over his shoulder. “You might want to start running. Like… now.”

‘’What’s the worst that could happen? He wouldn’t try to kill his oldest brother, now would he?” Gold replied.

'10 seconds… and then I stop it', thought Heart.

“You should have listened.” Silver grabbed Gold in his magic and yanked his brother right out of the tent and face first into the zebra’s already moving fist, clothes-lining and dropping the larger stallion to the ground. “Not kill you. Knock you the fuck out.” He then grabbed Gold by his chest plate and yanked him up into a skull bash.

'4… 5…' thought Heart dully.

Silver picked Gold up in his magic and slammed him into the ceiling of the protective barrier, before letting him drop, intending on uppercutting him, but Gold’s fall was stopped by Platinum Heart’s magic.

“And that’s 10!” he announced, moving the unconscious form of Golden Eye away from the enraged stallion.

As soon as Gold woke, he found that he was being carried on Heart’s shoulder. He looked down at Silver and said “I’ll get ya back soon enough.”

Silver chuckled. “No you won’t. Besides, Get me back for what? That was for you sucker punching me.”

“For going overboard, that’s what.” Gold snickered

“We both know that you can’t be knocked out with one punch. I, on the other hand, am physically smaller than you, meaning your fist makes a bigger mark on me.”

“Well, Heart about damn near knocked me the fuck out one hit.” Gold said.

“He’s bigger than me.” Silver pointed out.

“I didn’t mean to turn and hit ya like that though.” Gold apologized “I guess I just didn’t see ya coming when I swung around.”

“I didn’t mean to stick you to the ceiling.” Silver shrugged.

“No no, I deserved that. It serves me right for stickin’ ya in the jaw.” Gold assured Silver.

Heart looked between the two. “You all good now?” he asked.

“Yeah. Oh and uh, you can put me down now.” Gold said.

The smaller stallion was pulling parts of a weapon out of his bag and assembling them as they walked. “Who’s Scarlet, Gold? You were moaning her name while you were out.” He asked as Heart hauled Gold off his shoulder.

Gold blushed. “Uh… I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Su~re…” Silver said in a sarcastic tone as he kept walking. By now his scythe was fully assembled and placed in a holster on his back.

Gold had drawn a sword from it’s sheath, examining it closely, making sure the blade had not cracked from Silver’s outburst, before sliding it back in.

Heart, on the other hand carried no weapons, which made Silver curious. He had often seen Heart with a weapon and he knew how skilled he was.

“Hay, bro… Where’s your rapier?” Silver asked.

“Platinum, you know better than to come out here unarmed.” Gold lectured.

Heart turned around to face Gold. “Of course I know that. I might forget a simple tent, and I might spill a bottle of vodka on accident, but even I’m not that forgetful or clumsy. You taught me better than that.”

“You forgot it didn’t you?”

Heart rounded on Silver and thrust his fist forward at him. But instead of hitting him, most of Platinum’s arm disappeared. He appeared to grab hold of something and he pulled. Heart’s rapier slid out of the invisible hole in the air. Platinum twirled the weapon around a few times and held it at his side. “Happy?” he asked sarcastically.

“Better.” Gold replied. “Anyways, how the fuck did you do that? Some sort of magical pocket or something?”

Silver looked down at his chest where Heart’s hand seemed to of passed through. “What the fuck?” He asked nopony in particular.

Heart tightened his grip on the sword as his arm disappeared again. When he withdrew it, the rapier was gone. “When you study magic and the way it works for as long as I have, you’ll know how I did that.”

“I study magic… I just haven’t gotten to that chapter yet.”

Heart laughed. “Chapter? All the magic in Equestria cannot be documented in books. You have to experience it without the barriers of your own knowledge holding you back.”

“You wouldn’t mind teaching him, would you, Heart?” Gold asked.

“Oh nonononono. No magic lessons when we’re on the go. You remember what happened the last time, Gold? We all turned purple for a month and when we talked, we spoke backwards.”

“That’s when we got caught in a patch of Poison Joke.”

“No. When we got caught in the poison, I got really fat.“ Silver stated in a blunt tone

“!Suoiralih gnikcuf saw taht ,haey ha.” said Heart, laughing hysterically.

“Don’t even start, Heart. I don’t need you antagonising me.” Gold warned.

“Besides… I don’t think anypony wants me to bring up what happened to you when we hit the poison joke, Heart.” Silver hissed at him.

Heart stopped laughing immediately and stared daggers at Silver. “I can never live that down. You guys fucking promised never to bring that up again.”

“Could someone remind me what happened to me?” Gold asked.

Silver sighed loudly. “It made you into a four legged pony. You got really pissed.”

“Oh yeah, I still feel sore after I kicked Heart in the chest that day..” Gold said as he was reminded.

“You got what you deserved that day, Goldy Legs.” said Heart, using the nickname that he gave four legged Golden Eye.

“I told you not to call me that!” Gold growled.

“You two are going to kill me.” Silver groaned as he magically formed earplugs in his ears. “Ah, better.”

Heart rolled his eyes. “Come on. Let’s go before we’re forced to remember anything else… scarring.” Heart walked away, touching his tongue and shuddering. Boxers tasted awful.

“Yeah, let’s.” Gold seconded.

Silver quietly followed, having turned his earplugs into earbuds, blaring dubstep in his ears.

“I’m starting to understand why you guys didn’t really want to come out here, I am kinda feeling the same. Something doesn’t feel right.” Gold stated as he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Silver had pulled one of his earbuds out, seeing that his brothers had stopped arguing. “This is the same place Nightmare Moon was born. Evil still lurks here. I can feel it. We should stay close.”

“The magical fluxes… even you should be able to feel them, Gold. The magic envelops anything, and Silver’s right, sticking together is the best option.” said Heart, withdrawing a simple staff from nowhere.

“No, it’s not the fluxes. I feel like something is watching us or casting some sort of spell on us.” Gold stated.

“You feel it too?” Silver gasped.

“I’ve been feeling the same. How could I let my guard down?” said Heart.

“Heart, cast your life detect spell.” Gold said to Heart.

“Right.” Heart’s horn glowed as he searched for signs of life. “Argh! No use! Too much magic in the air!” exclaimed Heart.

“Then let’s just hope it’s not some huge fucking cannibalistic cottontail.” Gold said, remembering the rabbit in the bush.

Silver couldn’t help but snicker at his brother’s new rabbit phobia.

“Shut up, Silver.” Gold growled, not expecting it to echo.

“Sorry.” He apologized past a few more snickers, before he finally regained his composure.

“Let’s be really careful now, guys.” said Heart, gripping his staff tightly and glancing down at it every few seconds. “We’re protected in more ways than we know.”

“Not in the Everfree.” Silver replied as he drew his scythe, spinning it a few times, before holding it at the ready.

“Nopony is really ever safe in the Everfree.” Gold said tightening his grip on the hilt of his sword.

“I’ve taken a few extra precautions… but yeah, no pony is ever, truly safe in the Everfree forest.” said Heart, flicking his eyes back down at his staff.

“Remember that slime outbreak a few years ago, the one that we almost got infected by?” Gold said, “That slime came from the Everfree forest.”

“And hell. The ursa major that decided to remodel Canterlot after storming Ponyville? The one that you two had throw me inside of so I could kill it.” Silver added with a shiver. “I don’t ever want to do that again.”

“I thought that was an ursa minor?” Gold questioned.

“No. That was the one that stormed Ponyville years ago after Snips and Snails fucked with it.”

“And Aunt Twilight used that water tower and filled it with milk and fed it so that she could send it back to it’s cave.” Gold stated.

“Now granted, I’m sure it was the same ursa, but years later.” Silver finished.

“I have to agree with you guys on this one, but we need to focus.” commanded Heart.

“Right, sorry. Just got a bit sidetracked.” Gold apologized quickly.

“Yeah. We really need to keep our guard up.”

“Let’s go then.” said Heart, leading the way.

“Keep your eyes and ears open. Call out anything you feel, hear, see, or smell that’s suspicious.”

“Yeah. Got it.”

“Same.”

The trio slowly advanced, their eyes darting everywhere, searching for anything. The silence of the area was unnerving them all. All three gripped their weapons, ready for anything to jump out at them. However, minutes passed and nothing happened.

Silver made to look out for anything that would harm them, when the faded, cracked, and grown over tower of their mother’s old castle came into view. The zebra pointed it out to his brothers. “There! The castle. I see it.”

“Aunt Twilight and her friends really did a good job on this place.” said an admired Heart.

“I’ve heard that the inside looks better… Much better, considering nopony’s here to care for the plant life that grows out here and that it can’t get to the inside.” Silver replied. “I’d be surprised if I even saw any dust.”

“Hm... this place looks in better condition that when Aunt Twilight told me about it.” Gold pointed out.

“Of course with the magic pulsing from this place… That won’t last long.” Silver said with a worried glance toward his brothers.

“Hopefully it won’t collapse on top of us.” reassured Platinum.

“I heard there was some spell holding these ruins together, and the evil here is connected to that spell, if we can find a way to dispel the spell on the place, we can shut down the fluctuations that we’ve been feeling.” said Gold.

“But that would destroy mother and aunt Luna’s second castle.” Silver protested. “There has to be another way.”

“There is another way, but I don’t know what it is.” Gold explained.

“If mother was doing this, she would have known what and how to do it. She would already be long done by now.”

"Most likely." said Heart. "But maybe something stopped her from proceeding."

“That could also be a factor. But we’re her sons… Except me that is… Why can we get through here?” Silver questioned.

Platinum Heart thought for a bit. "Remember how I said we have 'more protection than we know of'?"

“Yeah?”

"Well, now that I think about it, our mother has had a deeper reason for her actions. Always."

“You’ve got a point there.”

“Well, our family, including you Silver, has a special protection of sorts when we are together. This kind of magic goes back thousands of years, and it has mostly protected the royalty of Equestria when they reside together. That's why she sent us three, because she alone couldn't do anything." He sighed "You're smarter than I expected, Mother."

Gold chuckled a little as he remembered the magical protection that Mother had told him about. “That sounds about right.” He said with a sigh, feeling relieved knowing that he and his brothers were not completely unprotected “It’s better that we’re here with that protection along with everything we brought with us.”

“Still doesn’t make me feel any better about being here. It’s not going to protect us very well once we’re inside. Mother’s magic still resides inside and, if I’m correct about this, it will resonate with ours, canceling our protection out. Like it does back at home.” Silver pointed out. “We could be completely screwed once we get inside.”

“Well, I understand your point, the protection will be null and void while we are in there, I’m just saying that I feel better knowing that we have some sort of protection out here in the Everfree, outside the ruins of the old castle.” Gold added. “I will do my best not to let anything happen to you two and you know that, even with how much we fight. Oh, and thanks for teaching me not to piss off a zebracorn like yourself.” he chuckled.

“Don’t mention it. I’ll be sure not to let the secret out once we’re done here. I’m just glad that Heart stopped me, before I went too far.”

As the three approached the front gates of the next-to-abandoned castle the magic fluxes began to intensify, drowning out most other senses.

Silver grasped his head as he was buffeted by the magic. “Ugh… It’s messing with my head. I hope this is just a protection spell to keep any unwanted guests out.”

“Gah…” Gold yelled as he fell to his knees. “What the fuck is going on here?”

“He’s not a unicorn! Heart, quick! The mental defense spell!” Silver cried as he bent down to help his brother.

Heart quickly placed his hand on Gold's shoulder. His horn glowed and the air around them shimmered as the spell was cast.

“You okay, Gold?” asked Heart, pulling him back to his hooves.

“I will be, for now. Just got a major fucking headache from whatever fucked with my head.” Gold replied, groaning in pain.

Silver raised a brow. “So… Nothing new?”

“Let’s just get in there and get this done so we can get the hell out of here.” Gold replied. “I don’t want to stay here too much longer.”

“Neither do any of us.” said Heart darkly.

Silver Soul slowly approached the large, fortified gates of the old castle. They were faded, cracked, and rust covered. He cautiously reached out and pushed open the gate, finding that it put up some resistance, but as soon as it was pushed all the way open, the pulses of magic stopped. This surprised all three of the brothers. “W-what the hell?” The zebra whispered as he looked around inside the gates, finding nopony around.

“The pulses must have been a defensive ward to keep out intruders.” Gold suggested. “That’s why I got that massive headache, we had reached the last layer of the defensive ward that made it so any who were not a unicorn or of alicorn status would not be able to pass these types of wards without a mental defense ward placed on them.”

Silver nodded his head. “That’s what I thought it was… Which only scares me even more. Because it means… Somepony’s here.”

“That’s what I was afraid of, but who, is what concerns me more.” Gold replied.

“Whoever it is, we need to get this done quickly.” Heart cut in. “I don’t like this place.”

“Yeah, I agree with you there.” Silver replied as he cautiously made his way through the gates. It was then that he felt that cold chill ride up his back, making him shiver, but this time the chill seemed to have a mind of it’s own, exploring his body, taking special time on his sensitive spots. He whimpered loudly and tried to shake it off, succeeding, but feeling utterly violated.

Heart seemed to feel the same. He shuddered and looked around wildly and then looked back at Silver. “You feel that?”

“Y-yeah… And I don’t want to feel it again…”

“What the actual fuck was that?” Gold exclaimed “What ever it was, I hope I don’t feel it again.”

“Neither…” Heart’s eyes darted around again and Silver saw him shiver once more. “Ok, whoever the fuck this is, is going down! Obviously, this is the work of a sick, demented fuck!”

Gold shivered at the thought of a psychotic unicorn running about in the castle, “This place is giving me the fucking creeps already and thoughts of a psychotic unicorn being behind this isn’t helping.”

“I am a psychotic unicorn, remember? Whoever this is… Is fucking twisted as fuck.” Silver replied as the three brothers made their way through the courtyard.

“Guys, we need to focus. This unicorn is trying to get us angry, trying to make us confused.” said Heart, looking around for any sight of a unicorn apart from himself and Silver.

“What have we here? Dear Celestia’s children… And a freak of nature?” A deep female voice call from seemingly nowhere.

Silver’s anger shot through the roof. “THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?”

Heart quickly tried to figure out the voice. Female, deep, powerful… must be unicorn or an alicorn. Wasn’t much of those… He couldn’t think straight, he had to focus.

“Awww… Did I hurt the little freak’s feelings? Such anger is so… Delicious… Yes. You three will do nicely…” Her voice continued. “Come and find me, cuties.”

Heart continued to run through names in his head. He came to two conclusions. Both highly unlikely, but possible. Oh shit… he thought. This REALLY won’t end well!

Silver yelled in rage and took off for the castle. “You sadistic bitch! I will end you!”

“Silver, wait!” yelled Heart, sprinting off after him. It took him a few seconds, but he managed to grab hold of Silver and stop him. “Don’t run off like that.” berated Heart. “You have no clue who’s in here, what you’re about to run into.”

Silver struggled in his brother’s grip. “It won’t matter who she is when she’s fucking dead! Let me go! She called me a freak! I’m going to end her!” There were tears streaming from his eyes from the very word freak, reminding him of how ponies used to treat him and, in some cases, still do.

Heart looked at his brother, the tears streaming down his face. He reached out a hand and brushed them away. “Hey… Remember all those years ago, when we hit something with our cart? We didn’t drive off, we stopped and we helped. Remember?”

Silver gazed into his eyes, the memories flooding back to him as well.

It was just a trip to Manehatten. Nothing really important, just for a quick change of scenery. Me, Gold and our mother were being pulled along the main street when suddenly, we hit something and our cart nearly fell over.

“The hell was that?” said Golden Eye loudly.

Mother reached over and slapped my brother on the back of his head.

The cart stopped and I looked around to see a figure lying crumpled in a heap on the road. “Holy crap, we hit somepony!”

I raced out of the cart and over to the figure, mother and Golden close behind me. I was a few meters from it when I realised what it was. A zebracorn. Judging by the dirt and smell of him, probably an orphan. I knelt down next to the zebra and tried to feel for a pulse. Thankfully, I found one, but it was weak.

“He’s still alive, but he needs medical attention.” I said to my mother who was examining the zebra with interest.

“Put him in the cart.” commanded Celestia. “We’ll need to take him to a hospital. Then we can take him back to Canterlot so we can nurse him back to health.”

I lifted him off the ground and placed him gently in the cart. We resumed our progress, this time heading for the nearest hospital. I sat next to the zebra, a sense of pity filling my heart. I was only just learning medical spells at the time, but I had to do something. My horn glowed and the zebra’s body jolted slightly. His eyes cracked open for a second and my heart lept.

“Where… am… I?” the zebra asked. “It doesn’t feel like I’m dead…”

I smiled down at him. “Safe. Now, rest.”

The last of his brief surge of strength failed him and he drifted back into unconsciousness.

I never let this zebra leave my sight until we got to the hospital and he was taken for treatment. Even then, I paced back and forth in front of the room where he was taken into, waiting… waiting. At last, we were able to see him. He was propped up against a few pillows and he looked upon us with neither anger nor happiness. His impassive face accented his eyes, which had the most piercing gaze I had ever seen. I noticed that some of the doctors and nurses were shooting him glances of mingled pity and disgust.

“Why… W-why didn’t… You… j-just let… my pain… ugh… e-end?” The poor zebra struggled to say.

“Because we couldn’t just leave you there, crumpled on the road, unwanted.” I replied. I walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, which I expected to be shrugged off but it wasn’t. “In a while, we’ll take you back to Canterlot. After you’ve healed, you can leave if you want to.”

A tear slid from his eye. “Why… are you being… ugh… s-so nice to me? After b-being… rejected and… s-spat on my whole life… W-why? W-what did I… do to deserve this?” He whimpered. “Y-you don’t… even know who… I-I am.”

“That’s true.” I said. “I’m Platinum Heart. You can call me Platinum or Heart. Nopony calls me by my full name.”

“My name is Golden Eye, you can call me Gold.” My brother said.

“So, what is your name?” I asked.

“I-I’m Silver Soul…”

“Everypony deserves a second chance, even you Silver.” Gold said looking the zebra in the eyes. “It doesn’t matter if we know you or not, you deserve better than what you have been put through, even though we may not know what you have been through, you deserve better.”

“But I… I never even… H-had a first chance… I’m a f-fucking freak!” He cried, but instantly whined in pain, his outburst having been too much for his injuries.

My brother looked at him sternly “Listen to me, you are not a freak, no matter what the other ponies think of you, to me you are somepony special, to us, My brother and my mother, you matter more to us than you think.”

“I…” The zebra looked down at the blanket that covered half of his body. “J-jumped in front… of your c-cart… on purpose… I was… s-so hungry… I was g-gonna starve… I couldn’t take it…”

“You will be better off with us, there is no need to throw your life away.” My brother stated, “Now you go ahead and get yourself some rest.”

My hand tightened slightly on the zebra. “We’ll let you have a few minutes after you wake up to decide your future.” I said, passing him a small loaf of bread, which he snatched up and devoured. The three of us left and as I left, I stopped in the doorway. “Rest up, Silver.”

“Yeah, I remember.” Gold said, who had finally caught up with us. “We were in Manehatten when that happened. That’s when we found you, Silver, and took you in.”

More tears spilled from his eyes as the memories of his helplessness and despair flooded back, along with the happiness he felt when he was finally accepted for who he was, not only by a good family, but a royal one at that. He had become a prince. His life had changed that very moment.

“You see, Silver?” whispered Heart. “Even if others call you a freak, you still have us, the ones who call you family.”

“Ugh! You adopted him? That’s funny.” came that sinister feminine voice again.

“What’s it to you, whoever you are!?” Gold shouted.

Her laughter echoed throughout the courtyard. “When it comes to you three… Everything. Celestia sure is something. But I must admit… Silver Soul sure does look yummy… Not as good as you two, but exotic and… spicy… I love rage. It just tingles my taste buds so nicely”

“Shut up, just shut up you… you… you monster!” Gold snapped back.

“Why don’t you come inside and make me, cutie?” The voice taunted.

“Silver, Heart, I’m getting tired of this bitch taunting us. What do you say we go in and just kill her now?” Gold growled angrily, quickly unsheathing his sword.

Silver snatched up his scythe, having dropped it during their shared moment, spinning the weapon expertly. “Now you’re talkin’!” He yelled.

Heart picked up his own staff, and with one fluid motion, slid the wooden end off it revealing an ethereal-like sword. “Even I have limits.” snarled Heart angrily.

"Come and try.” whispered the voice. which seemed to have faded away.

“I’ll do better than that, you freak!” Silver growled, before taking off in a sprint, followed by his two brothers. Reaching the castle doors, he kicked them in hard, snapping the rusted hinges as the doors swung open. What they all saw made their eyes widen to the size of disks.

In the far back of the throne room, sitting in the tall throne, was none other than the very monster that had possessed their aunt. The mare in the moon, Nightmare Moon. The very being the elements of harmony had supposedly destroyed.

“Mares and gentlecolts… We may be fucked…” Silver said to nopony in particular.

The mare smiled. She was tall, even in her sitting position. Standing, she may have been as tall as Golden Eye. She wore a skimpy navy blue dress that draped down her left leg, while her right one sat outside the slit in the side. Her form was pretty slender, mirroring Luna’s in almost every way, even her breasts, small C cups that her dress hung low over, showing most of her cleavage. She stared at the three brothers with… Hunger?

“You won’t leave here alive, Nightmare Moon!” Gold cried.

Moon burst out into psychotic laughter. “That’s no way to talk to a distant relative.”

This only served to make him even angrier. “You tried forcing aunt Luna to bring about eternal night, you are not family.” Gold retorted.

“Admittedly, That was a stupid decision on my part. I would have killed us all, but that’s neither here nor there. I’m very much a distant relative whether you like it or not. Luna and I will always be linked to one another. But I came back to try and find something to satisfy a growing hunger that I’ve not felt since my imprisonment on the moon.” Nightmare replied with a flick of her hand.

Heart pointed his ethereal sword at Nightmare Moon. “Looks like you’ve been forever unsatisfied.”

The alicorn laughed again. “Right you are, my cute stallion. I have been left unsatisfied. A millenia of built up desire and lust. I require a release. That is what I hunger for.”

Gold raised a brow. “What’s she talking about?”

Silver placed his hand on his brother’s shoulder. “Bro… She’s horny as fuck.” He stated bluntly, making it simple for his Gold.

“Fuck, and you’re telling me that she wants… us?” Gold asked worriedly.

“If needs be, son of the sun.” Moon replied with a lick of her lips.

“N-No! I won’t let you have my brothers!” Gold shouted “If you want to get to them, You’ll have to take me down first!”

Moon sighed. “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do this… But… You two may thank your brother for this.”

“Guys… this isn’t my usual strategy here… but maybe we should get the fuck out now!” said Heart.

“Agreed! I want to keep my virginity for just a little while longer!” Silver whimpered.

“I will not risk her following us back home, I am staying to cover your escape.” Gold called out, brandishing his sword.

“Well… I can’t leave you here alone, Gold.” said Heart nobly. “Silver, get out.”

Silver turned to run, but ended up running straight into the castle doors. Them having slammed right before him. “Owww…”

“Ooohh… A virgin. My favorite. I can’t let you leave.” Moon said with lust in her voice.

“Leave him alone!” Gold cried as he charged at Moon, sword raised, ready to strike.

Nightmare formed her ethereal armor and an intricate staff in her hand, tipped with a moon steel blade. She spun it around herself, before bringing it up to counter Gold’s attack.

“Heart, Help me out here!” Gold called out, pressing the attack.

Heart tried to move, but something rooted him in place. He could only watch his eldest brother take on Nightmare Moon, alone.

Moon smiled widely as their blades collided, exposing her sharp canines. She dislodged her staff and spun it back around, attempting to strike Gold’s kidney.

Gold leapt back to avoid her attack and lunged forward again to continue attacking.

Moon blocked his every onslaught with expertise. She brought the blade up in upper cut, catching hilt of Golden’s sword, wrenching it from his grip. The sword spun off into the air, before stabbing into the floor a ways back. She then spun the staff around and slammed it against the stallion’s skull, knocking him to the floor. “Next!”

“Gold!” yelled both Silver and Heart as he collapsed.

“Big... Mistake…” Gold grunted before blacking out.

The zebra growled loudly, before teleporting, reappearing behind Nightmare. He swung his scythe around and caught her helm in the crook of the blade, slamming her face first into the throne.

Heart seized this opportunity and leaped towards Moon’s fallen form, but Nightmare Moon sprung to her hooves and caught Heart on the side with her staff, sending him flying across the room. He formed a shield around himself just in time, however, he was too weak to move and could only watch as Silver started his attack.

“You… You… Monster…” Silver spat his words like venom. “I’m going to shove you into the farthest reaches of hell and then… I’m gonna fucking dig deeper!” He roared before taking his weapon and sweeping Moon’s hooves out from under her.

She quickly caught herself, using her large wings to keep flight. She rose higher as Silver swung at her repeatedly. “You little brat!” She growled and caught Silver in her magic, slamming him into one of the pillars that held up the roof, knocking him flat out.

“No…” weakly stated Heart, rising from the ground and picking up his ethereal staff-sword. His eyes moved from Gold to Silver, both expertly taken out by Nightmare Moon. He suddenly felt power surging through him as he walked towards Moon.

Nightmare Moon turned and looked straight at the advancing figure. “Haven’t you had enough?” she asked, twirling her staff.

“No one… hurts… them…” Heart breathed heavily, gripping his weapon tightly. “No one.”

Nightmare sighed. “Stallions never learn, do they?”

“Never.” agreed Heart, drawing ever closer to Nightmare Moon.

Her eyes narrowed at the black stallion. “Why are things never easy? Fine. You want to fight? I’ll fight.” She leaped at Heart, propelling herself faster with her wings, before swinging the blunt end of her staff at his head.

Heart lowered his staff-sword and flattened himself to the ground as she passed over him. He swung his sword at her, cutting a small gash into her side, making her scream in rage.

Moon teleported mid air and reappeared next to Heart, slamming the flat of her blade into his face. She teleported again and jabbed the blunt end of her staff into his gut. Once again she teleported, this time whacking the stallion in the back of his head, knocking him face first into the floor, forcing Heart to finally black out.

Moon threw down her staff. “You couldn’t have just helped me out. No. I have to knock you all unconscious.” She groaned to herself. “Oh well. It just get’s easier from here.”

Author's Note

And now, the clop starts. *rubs hands together*
The next three chapters will follow Silver, Gold and Platinum, each one with their own chapter, and what happens to them after this bit. The next chapters are written by everyone (of course) but most of the writing will be done by the owner of the OC pony.
If you need a guide:
Auxiliary Booster = Silver Soul
Mist Shaker = Golden Eye
AscendingAnthem = Platinum Heart
So, each chapter will have completely different styles of writing. It's a little different, but hey, what can ya do?
