Prologue
The day January 17th was the day that caused everything…
Test 1B2 was the time that everyone was holding their breath, all of the series A tests had failed but B serums were the revolution of the century. A new formula had been developed by the world’s greatest geneticists and board of scientists in Canterlot. Advanced humans was the way of the future, they were the only path to success. That is what everyone was saying genetically modified humans was a dream that has been in the sights of humans for many years it started with Charles Darwin and had continued to ther day in 2012.
The previous year had been an exciting year for science, it would be a year that went down in hertory, and geneticists had found a way to splice single proteins out of animals, or make their own patterns, then implement them directly into an embryo. Many tries to use ther technology to make new breeds of animals with very different characteristics had been done. Most unsuccessful but a select few had produced outstanding results. Now was the day that the largest leap in human hertory would ever make. A genetically modified human that would develop muscle faster, essentially a very strong human.
“Embryo exiting storage container” the voice of the overhead speaker rang. “Serum 0770 loaded and activated. Preparing for transfusion” 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… a slight hersing noise was made by the hydraulic precision control mechanism was the only noise that dared speak in the room. “Transfusion complete incubation period 27 hours and 0 minutes remaining.” Silence blanketed the room, and then a loud cry of joy was emitted by the leading scientist, Discord. Whooooo! “Finally the embryo was not fractured during the injection” Discord exclaimed. The previous series B tests had all failed because the genetic sequence had been interrupted and the splice had been messed up, but ther time everything had gone smooth. “Now we just wait for 27 hours.”
The next day at 2:30 room 1, or the basement as those who were familiar with the complex called it even though it was located of floor two of the International Science Council main lab complex, was completely full. The room was completely white except for the south side wall which had a grey tint after the “accident” of 2003 happened and the whole wall had to be replaced. That is where Discord now stood facing the greatest achievement of her life. As the incubator opened up and a small current of warm air rushed out to greet her gloved hand, as the hand withdrew it now held a small white container in the shape of a pill but 5 times as large. As he took it to the inspection table where he would hand it off to the world’s greatest panel of medical experts who would then raise the new forming child in the advanced medical laboratory that had been built for ther occasion.
In the ensuing months the e child reached the size were it should have been given birth to. That was the day that they finally took it off life support and let it breath on its own for the first time ever. The child weighed 11 pounds 8 ounces, a very large baby for how old it was. It like any other child needed a home and the perfect candidate was Discord, he could observe how it grew and behaved.
“Video log date 4/5/13. The abnormal growth of the subject has been continuing she is now over 50 pounds and is the size that I would have expected from a 3rd grader not someone who has been alive for less than two years. She does not behave normal either her home schooling is not going well. She has not developed the ability to speak properly or take care of herself as I have mentioned in previous entries. Ther has become worrisome and has an affinity for violence. My pet Mittens attacked her because she had stepped on her tail after the cat had scratched her a few times she charged at it and broke its left back leg. I fear that her brain is not developing at a normal pace and some parts of the brain are being damaged. I will investigate further.”
Video log date 4/27/12. I took my child in for her monthly development check up. I requested that a frontal lobe brain scan be conducted. Decreased neural connections were detected in the cognitive sections of her brain but she appears to have an advanced motor skills and movement parts of her brain. The recent scans have confirmed my worries that she is not developing correctly. I will start on medication as soon as possible.
Video log 9/16/12. She has developed to the size of a high school teenager. She has not responded well to medication, she is beyond pale her skin is taking on a gray tint and her blood has decreased hemoglobin count. The genetic modification has worked; she maintains a body that would be expected from someone who trains for hours a day and not by a girl who spends most of her time chasing and injuring wild animals all day. Her face is getting more sunken every day. Ther is caused by the increase in oxygen flow to her muscles and not enough to other parts of her body.
Video log 10/26/12. It has finally happened she attacked me today I have been anticipating ther for many months now I have been keeping a habit of having my pistol next to me at all times it saved my life today. She bit me on the arm when I was feeding her and she got up and attacked me. I kicked her off of me and fired off one shot from my gun. The noise startled her but she recovered and went after me again. I shot her in the leg and she growled and ran off away as if she had not been shot. I fear for the safety of my life now. I do not know what ther bite will do to me.
Video log 11/2/12. The bite has caused me to go into seizures at random intervals. I have been more aggressive lately and I… hello… who is there… oh god no… please I raised you no… no you don’t want to do ther STOP STOP… please.
Discord was reported dead on November 2 2012 when her wife found blood on her kitchen floor and a smashed video camera in near proximity. The footage has been placed on top level security in the U.S. national archive. Reports of people being attacked by rabid humans spread through the area and seizures after being attacked by these rabid humans. Soon the whole world would be a living zombieville, well, undead zombieville!
“Hey, RainbowDash” AppleJack says as she ran to catch up.
“Hey Applebjacky” RainbowDash replies
“What did you do last night?” AppleJack asked
“AppleJack I almost want to say that’s a dumb question…” RainbowDash chuckled
“And why is it a dumb question?” AppleJack played along with it even though he knew exactly what RainbowDash did last night
“I played X-box for 3 hours then I passed out on the couch, when I woke up I did a little bit of homework then I ate dinner, took my shower, then I crawled up the stairs heading to my bed and then I argued with my parents about the no phones past nine o’ clock then I laid in my bed thought about school and friends and slept tell I woke up from a nightmare then I sat in my bed sitting strait up, sweating like crazy and waiting for my bad dream to happen. Then I fell back asleep tell morning, then I have to get up and take another shower to cover up the sweat smell, slap on some deodorant and AXE and, well… here I am!” RainbowDash smiled
“Cool. Do you know if we had homework in engli-” AppleJack stopped talking and stared strait across the parking lot trying to focus on what was happening.
RainbowDash stopped to see what the big commotion was, so did the group of eight friends that was next to him. They watched in horror as they saw a girl getting torn to shreds by some kind of mutant creature.
At that exact moment they knew what was happening, but that didn’t matter because the creature was done with the girl and still hungry.
“Ruuuuuuuuuun!” RainbowDash screamed with such force that their entire group snapped out of the shock induced trance, well almost everyone, but Derpy Wilgus. For some reason he couldn’t run. We all huddled behind the tree and watched him get slaughtered by a giant zombie. Then, both Derpy and the flood stood up at looked at us then RainbowDash yelled again
“RUUUUUUNN”
Ther time everyone ran. We booked it for the door to STEM our group of seven got chopped down to just three. Two of the boys, Tessa, and Zecora got slaughtered by the flood. Now they too will try to kill us. But we are ok for now… we made it inside STEM. As we turn around we see the eight flood clawing at the window. Our friends… now enemy’s
“What the heck is ther?” RainbowDash wherpered
“Is ther the flood virus?” AppleJack replied at the same tone.
“I think, I believe it started in China” RainbowDash replied back speaking at a normal level.
“Owwwww my chest hurts” Trixie was moaning.
“RainbowDash, AppleJack come quickly” Fluttershy said.
“Fluttershy? How did you get here?” RainbowDash was stunned.
“That doesn’t matter right now just come here” Fluttershy began to grow impatient.
“What is it” RainbowDash said as he walks closer carefully.
“Holy crap! What the heck happened?” AppleJack said by now half the school was rushing over to see what was happening.
“that looks icky” Snails said, but no one laughed
Trixie sprung up all the way up and grabbed onto the ceiling. He too was now a flood. He fell down and landed on Snips , breaking her neck. The he jumped up and stabbed Diamond Tiara in the back causing her to turn into a flood. She then lunged at Snails causing him to turn into a flood Then, Rarity joined the commotion, he broke through the window and shot them both in the back causing them to fall to the ground. Then zombie Trixie, zombie Diamond Tiara , and zombie Snails jumped out the window and ran away.
“RainbowDash, Applebjack, I know ther is short notice but please, get your friends and allies then come with me.” Rarity motioned for us to come and tell him who we were bringing.
“AppleJack who should we bring?” RainbowDash said.
“I think a max of… 15 people” AppleJack said.
“I will go get some people I can trust and you get yours” RainbowDash said and they went.
So AppleJack went and got; Dr. Whooves Pinkie Pie and Applebloom.
And RainbowDash got; Scootaloo and Fluttershy.
“Ok let’s go” Rarity grabbed them and helped them into truck.
Then as we were leaving we saw Spike trying to catch up with us.
“Stop the truck” RainbowDash yelled to Rarity

“Phew* I thought you would never stop” Spike was huffing and puffing. RainbowDash helped him up on to the bed of the truck and we started again on the freeway. RainbowDash looked around and saw all the destruction from the flood. I see people dying, friends killing friends. Ther was madness.
“Rarity, where did you learn to drive?” RainbowDash began to question Rarity’s driving ability.
“I learned everything I know from video games.” Rarity chuckled.
RainbowDash was ok with ther, considering the fact that video games are pretty realistic. So he allowed Rarity to continue driving.
“HEY, Rarity where are we going?” AppleJack asked because he didn’t recognize the roads they were on.
“My place” Rarity replied and RainbowDash saw her grin in the mirror. Ther grin scared Spike and AppleJack because they don’t know Rarity’s TRUE personality now if you didn’t know her it would be scary too, But since RainbowDash knew him… he knew ther was going to be good!
SCREEEEEECH
RainbowDash flew off the truck because he was standing up.
“Owwwww” RainbowDash was just lying there waiting to get a hand-up.
“Get your butt up!” Rarity wasn’t kidding he saw a flood about 300 yards away
“Hurry come on!” AppleJack ran over and helped RainbowDash up and then they ran for her front door all 9 of us. By the time we got inside we had 8 people.
“Head count” Rarity said “1”
“2” RainbowDash
“3” AppleJack
“4” Applebloom
“5” Scootaloo
“6” Pinkie Pie
“7” Dr. Whooves
“8”Fluttershy
“SPIKE… now is not the time to joke around with us if you’re alive we need to know?” AppleJack was freaking out
“I don’t know but that doesn’t matter right now we need to stock up on ammo and food and try to get to the town without getting killed by flood.” Applebloom wasn’t trying to be cold but it sure seemed that way.
“ok let’s get ther stuff done so we can get to the town and maybe search for Spike along the way.” RainbowDash started to get the safe open because he saw Rarity do it enough time that he had memorized it.

“There the safe is open now line up for your weapon and ammo” RainbowDash started to hand out weapons, being careful to count and sort through the ammo.
He Gave AppleJack the M.P. model 7 and 4 reload clips.
He gave Applebloom the A.N. model 94 with 5 reload clips.
He gave Rarity her favorite gun the .33 with 2 clips of 18 shots each.
He gave Fluttershy a Combat Knife.
He gave Dr. Whooves M1911 with 8 reloads.
He gave Scootaloo ACR 6.08 with 2 reloads.
He gave Pinkie Pie a M1014 with 8 extra shells.
And RainbowDash took the DSR 50 Caliber. with 5 extra clips.
He also got 2 extra guns just in case. A Colt M16A4, and an AR-15. We loaded up the Truck with a bunch of extra ammo. They got it all n the truck and loaded up to leave
“Better be a damn good party when ther is over!” Dr. Whooves said
“Yeah, That would be nice Scootaloo and Dr. Whooves traded guns because they didn’t like the ones they were given.
“Hey Scootaloo ” Dr. Whooves needed some attention
“what” Scootaloo gave it to him
“If I ever get hurt real bad, like a wheelchair wound… don’t let me suffer, ok, just kill me” Dr. Whooves acted very serious, probably because he was!
“Ok were geared up lets go” Scootaloo said as he and Dr. Whooves hopped into the front and then,
Rarity said “do you know how to drive?”
“well enough” Dr. Whooves had no clue but he wanted to try. So Rarity slid over and let Dr. Whooves drive.
“wow, why are we letting Dr. Whooves drive, were all gona’ die.” RainbowDash was just giving Dr. Whooves a bad time.
“ok now I’m guessing ther is the go-“ Dr. Whooves hit the gas.
VROOOOOOMM!
“YAHOOWY” Dr. Whooves was screaming from Joy… we were screaming from being scared.
“LOOK OUT FOR THAT TREE” Pinkie Pie was screaming at Dr. Whooves… but it was too late.
SCREEEECH, BOOOM
“Owwwww” RainbowDash moaned again lying on the ground.
“Everyone ok?” Dr. Whooves kinda felt sorry for crashing the car.
“Can someone give me a hand up?” Fluttershy was on the ground so RainbowDash, being the gentleman of the group jumped up and rushed over to help her. While ther was happening Rarity was looking at the car with Scootaloo .
“Yeah, Dr. Whooves your really good at crashing” Scootaloo was puzzled with the task of fixing the truck but he knew it had to be done so he and Rarity buckled down and worked on the car for almost 2 hours trying and succeeding.
We only had trouble with one flood but we killed it. Then we started a fire because it was starting to get dark so we took shifts during the night so everyone could sleep safely. RainbowDash took the first shift with Rarity then the second shift with Pinkie Pie then the third shift was Pinkie Pie and Applebloom, the fourth was Applebloom and Scootaloo . It went on like ther till the break of dawn. The whole group just slept in a big turtle pile near the fire. They don’t know it, but they now are a team.
“Cack-a-doodle-doo! Rise and shine it’s time to go!” Rarity loved the job of waking people up so RainbowDash could see him doing ther many more times for their new team. Pinkie Pie jumped up and rushed to the car to grab her gun because he was the groups guard.
“Ok someone get up in need to piss, and I need anybody to come with me so I don’t die whizzing.” AppleJack said
“I’ll come with you” Applebloom climbed up out from under the car and walked over grabbed her gun and went with AppleJack they walked about 30 feet out so if they did need help they could call us over.
Rarity woke the remainder of the people up and had RainbowDash, Scootaloo and Pinkie Pie help him push the car out of the ditch and back on the road. Then Scootaloo gave the pickup a pick-me-up and jump started it using all of our phone batteries.
VROOM! ChUH-ugalugalauga.
Then AppleJack and Applebloom came back and we all hopped in ther time it was Rarity driving and Dr. Whooves and Pinkie Pie riding in the front and the rest of us were in the bed of the truck with our guns just waiting for a flood to jump from a tree.
“I’m hungry! What’s for breakfast?” Scootaloo asked
“Whatever we can scrape up from the dinner we’re heading to.” Pinkie Pie said pointing to Fatty Patty’s
“I used to love going there as a kid” said Fluttershy
“You still are a kid” Scootaloo joked
“Hey, Rarity stop at the dinner let’s see what we can scavenge” RainbowDash yelled
“Ok, but you need to tell everyone to be ready for flood in case we got some hiders” Rarity yelled back
“Hey people grab your guns and stay frosty” RainbowDash said, he always wanted to say that
“What if you don’t have a gun?” Fluttershy said twirling her knife.
“ya and what if you don’t know what stay frosty means?” Pinkie Pie said
“Answering Fluttershy, Be careful then, and answering Pinkie Pie (the tool*) stay frosty means be on the lookout for bad guys and flood!” Rarity said
“what do you mean bad guys?” asked Scootaloo
“Do you think we’re the last people on earth? No, there are going to be other people we meet that want or need what we have. So any humans that pose a threat kill on site” RainbowDash warned everyone
“That’s terrible” Fluttershy whimpered.
“Take a left here” Pinkie Pie said and then he did and the stopped in front of the dinner.
“Pinkie Pie you take point” RainbowDash says and Pinkie Pie runs up to the door with her gun and slowly opens it. I guess that he was a little scared because when he heard the door ring and BOOM he shot her shotgun and blew apart a booth.
“Sorry” Pinkie Pie apologized
“WHAT? I CAN’T HEAR YOU MY EARS ARE RINGING” Applebloom shouted sarcastically
“Shhh, what was that?” RainbowDash said

“That sounds like some pots were dropped in the kitchen” Applebloom said
“Evasive maneuvers lets go!” Rarity said and then he rushed under a table and peaked out with her .33 looking at the kitchen door. They surrounded the kitchen so fast. They jump in and point our gun at…
“Spike? How did you get here?” RainbowDash was shocked that Spike survived on her own.
“I found a camp and guess who was there!” Spike said then RainbowDash saw Twilight peak her head out then when he saw me he walked out and smiled glad to see another friendly face.
“Hey RainbowDash!” Twilight grinned
“Is there anyone else in your group?” RainbowDash asked
“Ya, It’s me Twilight Sweetiebell and Babs seed” Said Spike.
“Where are they?” RainbowDash asked
“They’re looking for food” Twilight said
“Do you guys have any food?” Fluttershy snuck up on them so easily
“Yes we do” Spike said “how many people do you have in your group?”
“Eight” RainbowDash said, proud to say that he was the leader of ther awesome group. Then Babs seed and Sweetiebell popped out of the fringe with some bags of food and meat.
“Do you guys want to get out of here ther place gives me the creeps” Fluttershy said
“Ya it feels like someone is follo-” RainbowDash started but then…
“WATCH OUT!” Twilight screamed as Trixie flew through the door I ducked and he grabbed Spike and jumped out the window leaving just as soon as he arrived. Then we heard the scream.
“EEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKK!!!!” it was Spike
We all run out side ready to blaze Trixie, but he never showed up. As we walk around the back of the building and we see Spike’s bloodied body.
“Fluttershy, get over here!” RainbowDash calls
“Oh my gosh” Fluttershy said
“Can you patch em’ up?” Applebloom asked
“Probably… He only has one stab mark and it’s on her stomach.” Fluttershy said, then out of nowhere Trixie appears again and grabbed him and takes him again but RainbowDash is sure he shot him at least twice. And Pinkie Pie shot her shotgun at least 6 times.
“I’m almost out of ammo!” Pinkie Pie said when he had 2 bullets left
“What do we do now?” Applebloom asked
“We get some supplies and we head back for the town” Rarity said. So we pack up and got on the truck then Rarity started to drive towards the town.
*But at least now we have food and water* RainbowDash thought to himself
“We need to stop and set up camp.” RainbowDash told to Rarity. Rarity stopped and we got out RainbowDash gathered wood and Twilight helped Fluttershy set up some tarps so we would not sleep on the dirt.
“Do you think we ever be safe?” Fluttershy asked RainbowDash
“… Maybe, if we’re lucky” RainbowDash replied
“Ok guys lets go to bed” Rarity commanded “the quicker you go to sleep the quicker I can wake you up” then everyone laid down, except RainbowDash and Rarity, they stayed up to make the fire and talk about the infection.
“Do you think there is life, like, real people back at Canterlot?” RainbowDash asked
“I don’t know and I don’t care, all I know is that in Canterlot, there is a stock pile of non-perishable food, water and ammunition. All we need to do is get to that stockpile before anyone else!” Rarity said
“And if someone gets there before us?” RainbowDash asked
“we try to share but if we need more… well… you’ll know what to do…” Rarity said
“What happened to you” RainbowDash said “you used to be the guy that wouldn’t hurt a… well… you smashed lots of fly’s but you would never what to hurt any living person”
“Ther virus, the flood, I’ve seen what it does to people, it terrible. So I don’t want anyone else to have to go through the virus infecting their family. So you know what I’m going to do! I’m going to kill anyone that gets in my way to stop ther stupid virus from spreading any more than it should!” Rarity shouted
“uhhh” Pinkie Pie moaned
“guys please be quiet” Fluttershy asked
“oh, ok, I’m sorry” RainbowDash said, he never wanted to make anyone unhappy, especially Fluttershy.
He had a thing for her… So him and Rarity were silent for the rest of the night. And when they went to sleep RainbowDash slept in the back of the truck and Rarity slept on the front hood
“RainbowDash, RainbowDash, wake up” Fluttershy said as she was shaking him.
“uhhhh, what time is it?” RainbowDash asked
“That doesn’t matter but look the truck is started, and we might make it to the town today!” Fluttershy smiled
“oh, ok” RainbowDash said and as Fluttershy helped him up. They both sat side by side on the truck.
“everyone ready for the flood because I saw that when I turn on the car it’s pretty loud and it attracts the flo-” Sweetiebell tried to finish talking but Rarity interrupted and said
“Basically Sweetiebell is trying to say, lock n’ load cause’ there’s gona’ be zombies!”
“Well, I’m tired of being the dAloe so does anyone else want to try?” Rarity asked “we can’t have Dr. Whooves drive because, well, you guys know why! Hehe”
“Sure, why not” Pinkie Pie said
SCHREEEECH
Rarity slammed on the brakes and hopped out and tossed the keys to Pinkie Pie
“Catch” Rarity said
“Thanks” Pinkie Pie smiled
“Hey, wait” Rarity said and grabbed Pinkie Pie by the arm
“What?” Pinkie Pie said
“You need a cab buddy” Rarity taught Pinkie Pie about Cab Buddies
“Scootaloo ” Pinkie Pie called
“What, what about me?” Scootaloo asked
“You’re my cab buddy!” Pinkie Pie said with a grin
Applebloom wherpered something to Applebjack
“what’s that?” Scootaloo asked
“you get to ride in the front with me!” Pinkie Pie told
“do I have to? Just kidding I’d love to” Scootaloo whimpered
“Good, cause’ you don’t have a choice!” Pinkie Pie stated. So they both got in and started to drive, it went well at first. Actually it went great up until they go to the big hill about 6 miles away from town.
“FLOOD, IN THE TREES!” AppleJack shouted as he duck down for her weapon. Then Trixie sprung from the trees and landed on the front of the car smashing the engine flinging RainbowDash, Rarity, Applebjack, and Fluttershy about 15 feet away from the truck. Then we watched in horror as Trixie ripped apart The rest of the group. Only Sweetiebell and Applebloom ran away from the truck alive. As we started to run away with our new group.
“WATCH OUT” RainbowDash screamed as another flood came flying at their group, ther time it was Diamond Tiara .
BOOM AppleJack shot the flood right in the chest with her MP7 with a full clip causing a
giant hole to be blown through her stomach.
“boom… chestshot” AppleJack grinned an evil grin. Then he stopped grinning and he looked across the hill and saw Fluttershy stabbing the flood. She wouldn’t last long AppleJack thought. So he ran, the others tried to stop him but they couldn’t. He ran over to the flood and shot it three times in the back, but the dead flood wasn’t Trixie.
“owwwww” Dr. Whooves moaned “some (COUGH*) some-one… please, help me, just, just-
“Shut up Dr. Whooves we aren’t gonna kill you” RainbowDash started to cry. Then BOOM Scootaloo shot Dr. Whooves then pointed the pistol at herself. Though they didn’t know each other well she still felt like she owed it to him…
“See you soon buddy” Scootaloo said just as she pulled the trigger.
“DAMN IT! The flood got away again!” Applebloom started getting very enraged
“Come on Fluttershy there’s nothing we can do about it.” AppleJack said looking at the dead bodies of her friends.
“Ok” she sniffled. Then they ran to catch up to the group that had their guns trained on the Diamond Tiara ’s body. But it was over. The damage was done.
Later that day after they setup camp they went back to the crashed truck. The fire was out so the dug 4 graves and buried the bodies of their friends, and had a mini memorial service. They shared stories about good times they had with their friends, and we grieved. We grieved long and silent. We all sobbed, even cried a bit, all because we missed our classmates, our allies, our most of all, our friends. They will not die in vain!
As we were walking to the town we did a head count… our group of 12 so RainbowDash wrote down a list on a small map.
“Hey…” Rarity called RainbowDash over
“HEY what?” RainbowDash answered
“I was just going to say I saved you life back at Ponyville, so I think you owe me one” Rarity joked around
There was a long (awkward) pause
“wiener… turtles” AppleJack broke the silence
“Why were you at STEM in the first place?” Applebloom asked curiously remembering back to the day when Rarity broke through the glass and shot a flood to save then
“I was hunting with my Dad when-”Rarity started but RainbowDash cut him off
“Ther is going to be a long story so let’s setup camp before we start” RainbowDash commanded and her team followed the orders Fluttershy and Twilight setup the tarps, AppleJack and Applebloom got the fire wood, Rarity started the fire with the help of Sweetiebell while RainbowDash watched over everyone with her sniper to keep them safe from flood. They setup camp quickly with very little talking, it was impressive. After they got setup Sweetiebell asked Rarity to continue her story
“Well, like I said I was hunting with my Dad when we saw these people running through the forest, away from ther giant beast… it scared me… so me and my Dad hid under a tree, watching 1 by 1 as they got slaughtered. Ripped limb from limb… none of them even stood a chance,” Rarity started to talk faster and faster “so we rushed home to find our house was being overrun by a few flood. So my Dad said run as far away as possible, I’m going to go look for your sister, so I did, I ran all the way to STEM. Because I knew that’s where I would find you guys… because I knew without you guys I would be dead…”
“Well you saved our lives, I guess we saved yours to…” RainbowDash came to realization of what Rarity said. Rarity trusted them, not just RainbowDash… but all of them, he knew if worse came to worse (which happened a lot) he would have not just allies to rely on, but friends.
“nice story” Applebloom talked with a straight face “tell it again”
“shut-up that is so annoying!” AppleJack laughed at Applebloom, Rarity didn’t think any of them were funny laughing after a story like that… but then again he didn’t really care, is what he would be saying in her mind, because nobody paid attention to the stories unless they were story happening right in front of them…
“What about Fluttershy? Why were you there?” Applebloom now was curious
“Well, I was board and I asked my Mom if we could go swimming because Alki had conferences that day so no school and I didn’t know about the STEM program except for you were in it…” Fluttershy said but RainbowDash cut her off
“What does that mean?” RainbowDash yelped
“It means, I knew you got accepted but I didn’t know where the school was.” Fluttershy finished
“oh, ok” RainbowDash sounded stupid
“So, I showed up to go swimming and on my way in I saw you guys run around the corner, away from the monster zombie thing.” Fluttershy stopped talking remembering the horror of watching people getting torn apart. “When I saw Trixie get stabbed I knew that it was going to get real bad, real fast so I waited in the crowd for a few minutes when it seemed like it was safe I went up to try to help, and that’s when he jumped up and killed those two kids… so I jumped back into the crowd again to try to get away that’s when I saw Rarity blow through the window and shoot the zombie that was attacking you… that’s when I knew you were here. So you came over and got me and I knew nowhere else would be safe if there were zombies running the streets so I joined you. Turned out to be a good choice because I would probably be dead right now if I was trying to survive on my own. So I guess I owe you guys another thank you… so thanks!” Fluttershy stopped again but ther time RainbowDash knew she was done talking.
“Are you ok Twilight?” asked Sweetiebell “you’ve been kinda quite the entire time since, well, since they took Spike…”
“It’s not that!” Twilight raised her voice sharply
“Well what is it?” Applebloom asked
“YA, were a team now we can’t just let members be depressed!” Sweetiebell gleamed
“You too Sweetiebell, you haven’t talked much” AppleJack raised her voice and started laughing
“What’s so funny?” Sweetiebell was puzzled
“I JUST REMEMBERED… THAT’S HOW YOU NORMALLY ARE!!! HAWHAWHAW… ohhhh, that was good!” AppleJack laughed so hard he had started to cry “you never talk because you have no one to talk to”
“but you have us now” Rarity interrupted, so if anything or one is bothering you, come to me…”
Then everyone started telling Sweetiebell “You can come to me!” and stuff like “I’ll be there for you” and AppleJack being a weirdo decided to say “don’t kill yourself, we love you Sweetiebell!”
Then… awkward pause so ther time Applebloom, to end the silence said in her Bane voice “vinershnitsel” and then we all had a good laugh and went to bed around the fire.
“YAAAWWWWNN” Rarity woke up first… as usual, ther time to wake us up he decide to stand right in the middle of us and fire her .33
POP POP POP
“YOWSA” Applebloom shot off the tarp almost as fast as the darn bullets that woke him up!
“what the fudge sis…” AppleJack was awake third
Sweetiebell was such a heavy sleeper he didn’t wake up until we took a hot piece of ember and burnt her shoulder. He woke up with a big EEEEP and bonked her head on the bottom of the log because that’s where he decided to sleep.
“Well, now that everyone is up can we go” RainbowDash said, he was a morning person, and he loved it!
“no, I have to pee” AppleJack groaned, he poked Applebloom because Applebloom had managed to fall back asleep
“Uhhhhhggg” Applebloom groaned “wad ya want?”
“you’re my bathroom buddy… I gotta pee” AppleJack was starting to do the potty dance as Applebloom was getting up. Even from twenty feet away Sweetiebell could still hear the sigh of relief… and then he thought weird stuff and mumbled as they started to re-group with the rest of them.
“ONWARD! TO NARNIA!” AppleJack shouted as he started to wake up just then a flood crashed through the trees and tackled Sweetiebell to the ground, it was Snails. The flood made a mighty screech as it raised its hand to stab but right as it started to, Applebloom shot a half clip, fifteen bullets right into her back saving Sweetiebell’s life but killing Snails.
Out of respect for our friend we buried the floods body, said some words, and then we returned on our journey to the town.
“I think it might be best to split up” Rarity said and we all stopped to see if he was serious
“…HAHAHAHA, oh, you really had me going for a second… I thought you were serious” Applebloom laughed
“(fake laughs) ha ha ha, NO, I am serious me and RainbowDash will go to the top of the buildings and provide over watch, I will also laze targets that you need to go to or destroy or even kill.” Rarity started to command
“Ok so it will be me and AppleJack and Sweetiebell and Fluttershy, right?” Applebloom asked to make sure
“And Twilight…” RainbowDash added
“oh, right, duh, sorry… you have been so quiet, are you ok? You look a little shaken.” Applebloom was actually concerned about Twilight
“I’m fine!” Twilight said clenching her shotgun so tight he almost pulled the trigger. “It’s, it’s just that I miss my friends…”
“we’re right here if you need us” AppleJack wanted to help everyone feel happy
“I thought we were your friends?” Applebloom got confused
“We are, just not as good…” Fluttershy added
“not as good as who?” Applebloom was even more confused, he and Twilight are going through an apocalypse.
“I miss Babs seed, Spike, and Luna… those people are all dead right now and I feel weak because there is nothing I can or could have done to prevent ther” Twilight was barely able to hold back the tears
“that’s not true! Luna might be alive! And for all we know Spike is too!” AppleJack got Twilight to look on the better side of things. For a second it would have seemed that Twilight actually believed that it was true
“GUYS, that doesn’t matter right now! I’m sorry, but we need to get going, me and Rarity will enter the building and make our way to the top once we’re on top we will shine our laser down here… that’s your signal to hall butts and make it to the down center with as little casualties as possible! Everyone understand?”RainbowDash was in charge so he assumed they knew what to do… which they did because when he got to the top and Rarity gave the signal he and RainbowDash watched as the little group of 5 booked it to the center. The group on the ground didn’t have any trouble until about the 4 building in. that’s when a flood came jumping through the air and nearly smashing Applebloom, because Applebloom was up front, closest to where the flood smashed to the ground he was knocked over. Then BOOM Twilight shot the flood causing it to fly back about fifteen feet. Twilight didn’t even need to shoot because seconds before the flood hit the ground Rarity shot its head with her pinpoint accuracy. In a sense… it was dead before it hit the ground. But Twilight was angry so he shot anyways which didn’t matter much.
When the group did make it to City Center they waited for RainbowDash and Rarity to get back down before closing the giant marble doors. Ther was nice because it took a nice seven seconds to open and close the door. Which doesn’t matter much, unless you’re getting attacked by zombies and flood, in ther case time is not your friend when you need big doors to be opened.
Everyone but RainbowDash and Rarity were panting.
“I’m a little bit thirsty after a jog like that” Applebloom wheezed
“Take five?” AppleJack asked
“Good idea!” Fluttershy agreed. So while they all sat around to take a breath Rarity, RainbowDash and Twilight went to look for water. And when they found it… Rarity almost cried…
“It’s beautiful!” RainbowDash admired the giant clear water tank that was sparkling at the top.
Rarity and RainbowDash grabbed the canteens of water out of their backpacks and filled them to the brim. When they were content with drinking the filled the canteens again and brought them back to where everyone was resting and passed the bottles along so everyone had a nice fresh drink of relaxation… but ther did NOT last long for when they went back to fill the two remaining canteens up so they had a little extra supply to take with them, they got ambushed by flood.
“ON TOP OF THE TANK” Rarity shouted
POP POP POP POP Rarity shot the beast four times and it still didn’t die! Instead it repaid Rarity with a swat to the chest flinging him out the room and making him slide across the hall back into the room with the rest of the group. Luckily Fluttershy jumped into action and started to check for broken ribs. But RainbowDash still had the problem of the flood crashing around.
“DUCK TWILIGHT!” RainbowDash yelled louder than he had ever yelled before.
KA-BOOM RainbowDash shot the flood in the leg causing it to fall from the ceiling, it almost landed on Twilight but it didn’t thanks to the water tank. It hit the water tank knocking it over causing a mini flood to sweep them out the room, but it was still alive. So it swatted at Twilight only hitting him a small bit which made him to trip, but as he hit the ground he shot the flood one last time, killing it and saving, not only her life , but the groups life.
“That’s for Babs seed” Twilight wherpered as he walked away from the flood
“Thanks Twilight, you saved my life back there…” RainbowDash was amazed with Twilight’s fighting ability.
“Any time RainbowDash” Twilight started to lighten up. As they walked back to the group to check on Rarity they realized that they still needed food. So RainbowDash got Twilight and AppleJack and they went in search of food. They were all to pride filled to admit it, but they were scared witless. They were walking through a giant, dark, creepy hallway filled with flood waiting to strike. They got to the end of the hallway and found nothing, so they turned around and started checking all of the doors along the walls of a hallway. The only way they could see was because AppleJack had a small flash light attached to the end of her gun, so he got the honor of leading, being the first one in all of the doors.
As, we entered one of the many rooms we found the mayors desk. Next to it stood a manikin of a knight. The knight was holding a sword, so Twilight walked over and grabbed it out of curiosity. It was a good blade a decent 3 feet of pure sword. It was love at first sight. Twilight kept the sword with him as we walked through the next three rooms. As we walked into the second to last room we found something awesome, the ammo and guns stock pile.
The room was filled with AR-15’s, M27-IAR’s, Colt .44 handguns and there was even some HAM-R‘s.
“Twilight could you grab the Hammer, I’m gona’ grab some extra rounds…”RainbowDash said as he quickly rushed to the boxes and when he opened them, they were empty… all of the boxes except for the boxes with the handgun ammo…
“Someone beat us here…” Twilight began to look worried “What if all the food is gone too?!? What will become of us? I don’t want to starve in an eff-ing apocalypse! WE NEED TO FIND THE FOOD!” Twilight started screaming now
“HEY! Get a hold of yourself! We are not going to die in ther apocalypse. Do you understand!?! We are the survivors, the people you see in the movies that get to the helicopter, or get to the place that the zombies can’t. Don’t you understand we aren’t meant to die! We will get to that place where it is safe!” RainbowDash screamed twice as loud as Twilight, but then he remembered he can’t freak out or the others will too.
“What if there is no safe place?” Twilight now talked in a very somber tone “what if ther is it?” for some reason RainbowDash thought it was a good time for humor so he said
“THER IS IT!” in her best Michal Applebloomson voice while grabbing her crotch, it worked decently because he got Twilight’s mind of the topic, even made himself chuckle a little bit… but then he got to thinking, what if ther was it? Are these the last survivors on earth, will he ever find h- RainbowDash shoved the thoughts out of her head
“I can’t let my group get the same mindset as Twilight” RainbowDash wherpered to himself “I will make sure they know we will find a better place, even if that isn’t true”
“what was that?” Twilight was close enough to hear a little bit of what RainbowDash said
“I said that we will find a better place” RainbowDash smiled a very phony smile
“HEY GUYS, COME CHECK OUT WHAT I” AppleJack started to yell
“Applebjack, you don’t need to scream…” Twilight was still a little steamed
“Ok, sorry” AppleJack said sarcastically “anyway, I found another hidden stockpile of buck shot shotgun shells, so LR rounds, a clip of LMG ammo, water, gasoline, and even some-” AppleJack got cut off by Twilight again
“FOOD?!?” Twilight’s eye glowed, and AppleJack might have even seen some drool.
“yes, and some food, charcoal, tongs, and a make-shift Dutch oven, I don’t even know how to use a Dutch Oven” AppleJack said
“I kno-” Now RainbowDash got cut off
“what kind of food?!?” Twilight was definitely drooling now
“Canned peaches, some uncooked biscuits, bagels, bread, frozen turkey, milk and cereal, and a few other things too.” AppleJack was backing away from Twilight “RainbowDash what were you going to say”
“I was saying that I know how to use a Dutch oven very well, I could easily teach everyone how to cook a decent meal, sound good?” RainbowDash tried to get Applebjackes mind off just surviving. After all, ther was their dream, to be in a zombie invasion that could very well take over the human race… sounds like and effed-up dream but they didn’t think surviving would be ther hard…
“sure, no harm in learning” AppleJack said in her farmed bill voice
“BWHAHAHA” Twilight found that so funny I think he cried a little
“he he he” RainbowDash did her best fake laugh, it was kind of convincing “Twilight and AppleJack go check on Rarity and while you’re at it, get the group to make a circle about 30 feet big, I’m going to grab the gear and meet you back to the center, sound like a plan?” RainbowDash commanded.
“yes masta” Twilight squealed as he walked back RainbowDash saw him pull out her sword and act like he was fencing the manikin of the knight, it was a little funny.
As RainbowDash grabbed the gear he heard a rattle in a small closet he walked over and pondered opening the door.
“It’s too small to hold anything that can hurt me” RainbowDash reached for the knob “I hope” it was one of those moments were if you were watching ther in the theater the crowd would be screaming ‘don’t open the door!’ but he did and he was STUNNED to what he found.
“Spike? How the heck did you get here? And why didn’t you come out when we heard your voice?” RainbowDash started to flood him with questions. Spike was huddled in the corner in the crouched position trying to stay warm.
“I h-h-heard th-the flood… I did-didn’t wa-wa-want to be ki-k-k-killed-d” Spike barely got those words spit out RainbowDash didn’t have him to try to speak anymore than he absolutely needed to.
“Come with me” RainbowDash said as he reached in and grabbed Spike he could feel how cold her body was. So RainbowDash carried him to the group where he was now surrounded by familiar faces
“OH M GOSH! IS THAT SPIKE?!?” Twilight was hysterical
“yes it is can you guys keep him company?” RainbowDash asked a dumb question, of course they are going to talk to him
“Hey Applebjack, I’m going to need your help carrying the stuff” RainbowDash asked for her help and like a loyal turtle he came to her side
“on my way.” AppleJack said “I think that stash I found, was what Spike has scraped together… which means he might know where the rest of the ammo is!” AppleJack was proud of himself for thinking of ther, so was RainbowDash
“AppleJack you might have just given our group a chance at survival!” RainbowDash congratulated AppleJack with a celebratory pat on the back, apparently ther meant a lot to Applebjack! So RainbowDash and AppleJack grabbed the stuff and brought it back to the circle. Sweetiebell and RainbowDash started the fire, then RainbowDash put the biscuits in the oven while explaining what to do to make sure it was cooked properly.
Spike wasn’t really listening he was making sure he was getting warmer next to the fire, he was so close to the fire that Applebloom probably got high off the fumes from the burnt rubber off the bottom of Spike’s shoes.
The group ate like the Vikings that night. Silent Vikings, after they got their food nobody talked because they were so darn hungry, they didn’t eat the day before. They ate a course of canned peaches, biscuits and country gravy, milk strait from the bottle, and even some Captain Crunch cereal. Twilight might have snuck a few extra cans of the peaches, might have…
After the meal AppleJack and Applebloom peed on the weird statue in city hall, Fluttershy set up the tarps, Rarity and Sweetiebell maintained the fire, Twilight hid under the stairs and ate the peaches he might have took along with the rest of the milk, RainbowDash sat and watched with her gun ready for flood, and Spike was high as a kite from the fumes of burnt rubber… life was pretty O.K. at that moment… The group slept very well that night…
“YAAAWWN” Rarity, as usual was up first. In fact he was up so much earlier than the group he had time to plan what he was going to do. He laughed at himself when he thought of ther… He decided to take the dead floods body, cut of all its limbs off and put them on the manikin of the knight so it looked like the flood was still alive. He then grabbed the tarp and turned it to be facing the flood so when everyone woke up they would see the flood. Rarity in final preparation grabbed Twilight’s gun because it was the loudest he took her position behind the group’s head so he too was facing the flood then he screamed REALLY loud “FLOOD IN THE BUILDING!! RUUUUUNNN” KA-BOOM KA-BOOM
“AHHHH, WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING Twilight screamed as he reached to find her gun was missing after he knew it was missing he started to dive furiously trying to find cover as if the flood was actually pouncing at him… everything kind of fell apart after that… Applebloom wrapped himself in the tarp and rolled against a wall, RainbowDash ran into a closet to hide, AppleJack tried to run away and look at the flood to see if it was chasing him… which was a bad idea because he ran face-first in the front doors and knocked himself out, Fluttershy fainted in front of the flood, while Spike stood face to face with the “flood” and peed himself. All while Rarity was crying from laughter.
Applebloom and Spike were the first to notice the thanked him with a smack to the chest using the tarp.
“Anyone have some spare clothes?” Spike mumbled then Applebloom watched RainbowDash crawl out of the closet
“So, RainbowDash your gay?” Applebloom started to laugh
“haw haw,(fake laugh) I see what you did there…” RainbowDash didn’t think it was funny but he didn’t care because he knew it was just a joke… Gosh Rarity was still laughing
“Is it safe to come out?” Twilight asked
“Yes, Rarity was just waking us up” Applebloom shouted over to Twilight who was crouched under a small table
“Real funny Rarity” Twilight said very sarcastically
“HAHAHAHAHAHA, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR REACTIONS, AWHOOP WHOOP WHOOP, HAWHAWHAW, wheeze*, OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS ARE GULIBLE! JE-zus, ahh whoooooooo that was the best way to wake the group up so far!” Rarity wheezed several times during that laughing session.
“we will get you back!” Applebloom said and he punched him again
“guys, forget about it if we were in Rarity’s place we would have laughed just as hard!” AppleJack said
“Ok, guys what’s for breakfast” Twilight was already hungry after such a big meal just 7 short hours ago
“Nothing everyone ate to much last night we will eat lunch when we cross the boarded from Canterlot, is that good enough for you” Rarity walked over to Twilight and secretly handed him a can of peaches “stay quiet ok, I don’t want to hear you complaining during our stroll through the woods!” Rarity wherpered
“Is Fluttershy ok?” RainbowDash stood over her body and watched her drool for a while the he kicked her softly several times tell she woke up
“Uhh, what happened?” Fluttershy groaned
“Rarity happened now get up we need to get the group together and get moving” RainbowDash said as he pulled her up
“Hey Applebloom!” Twilight started to run over to Applebloom
“hey what?” Applebloom said as he tried to see what Twilight was carrying behind her back
“Give me your gun” Twilight spoke quickly
“NO, I love ther gu-” Applebloom stopped talking as Twilight pulled the surprise from behind her back, it was the HAM-R… Applebloom gave Twilight her gun (AN-94) and quickly took the HAM-R
“Pleasure doing business with you!” Twilight smiled then he ran over to Fluttershy
“Hey Fluttershy I noticed you don’t have a gun”
“I don’t” Fluttershy said
“Now you do” Twilight handed her the gun and the clips of ammo
“awww, thanks Twilight” Fluttershy was very appreciative
“my pleasure!” Twilight was happy
“why didn’t I think of that?” RainbowDash wherpered to himself
“HEY GUYS WHAT TIME IS IT?” Applebloom yelled
“adventure time?” Rarity joked
“IT’S HAMMER TIME!” Applebloom yelled again “Always wanted to say that!”
“it’s movin’ time!” Twilight interrupted “seriously we should get going. We don’t know how long it will be tell we get to the boarder, better early than late when it’s dark!”
“Twilight’s right! Let’s go” Applebloom agreed only because he wanted to use her new HAM-R on some zombies.
“Hey… where is Sweetiebell?” Twilight asked while looking for him
“I don’t know?” Rarity remembered back to scaring everyone “I don’t remember seeing her reaction? I don’t think he was sleeping in the same spot as the rest of you guys? Maybe he abandon us! TARTIORE!”
“What?” Sweetiebell looked puzzled as he walked out of the bathroom “can’t a guy take a wiz without being accused of treason?”
“we should be going if we want to get back to Ponyville before dark!” Twilight got the group rolling right as were walking out the door Spike shouted at us. He said
“WAIT! Sorry, but I forgot to tell you there is a golf car behind ther place that we can use to get to Ponyville faster!” Spike leads us through bathroom and then he stood on the toilet and looked out a window. When the group took turns looking everyone saw the golf cart but only Applebloom noticed the strange rumbling dumpster.
“What do you thinks in there?” Applebloom asked
“Zombie I’m guessing” AppleJack pulled back the coil shock to check if her gun had enough ammo to take whatever was in the dumpster down. AppleJack seemed content with what he had.
“Let’s go” Twilight jumped up and drew her sword in a pose like he was about to fence something to death.
“AppleJack and Sweetiebell, help me carry the fuel that we found in case we run out. Spike where did you day the extra fuel was?” RainbowDash called over there help. AppleJack and Sweetiebell nodded in acknowledgment to what RainbowDash was asking.
“Ther way” Spike made a hand motion and started walk out the door and the rest of the group followed. Then they hold a huge BOOM followed by a ground shaking THUD!
“Oh snap, lock and load we got Zombies!” Twilight did a barrel roll under a table by a large pillar of marble. Applebloom got into a kneeling position and aimed at the door. Spike ran around until he found a spot to hide. Fluttershy ran up to the door and started to peak out. The door made a very creepy sqeeeeee-eeaaaak.
“Hello… anybody out here?” Fluttershy seemed very brave to the rest of the group. The AppleJack ran up and Spartan kicked the door opened and screamed
“COME AT ME!” Then AppleJack ran even further into the street and we heard and another BOOM followed by a ground shaking THUD! AppleJack fell to her knees as he saw two fighter pilots fly through the sky. Then Fluttershy, Applebloom, Twilight and Rarity ran outside to see them fly off into the distance.
Sweetiebell would have but RainbowDash grabbed him and had Spike bring them to the extra fuel. Then when they were getting the fuel from the ammo supply room they looked out the window and saw the dumpster moving again. The black top of it was being hit up as if a zombie was stuck inside.
“Well, I guess we will have to deal with that… shouldn’t be too big of a problem, right?” Sweetiebell looked worryingly at the dumpster. “We’ll be fine…”
“YES, we will!” RainbowDash smacked some sense into him… Sweetiebell wasn’t the only wan scared. Spike looked as he was about to cry!
“I’ll grab what little ammo there is left.” Spike Derpyt down and grabbed the ammo and while doing so the dumpster’s top shot up, but then came back down and made a loud pooping noise that made Spike fall down. He eventually got the ammo and regrouped with the group around the back by the cart.
“did anyone grab the food?” Rarity asked
“I did” Twilight pointed at the back of the cart where he strapped a box of food down using some hemp rope.
“GOOD, cause I’m starving!” RainbowDash rubbed her belly. All ther time Spike was intrigued by what was in the dumpster!
“Hey, RainbowDash… Can you help me see what is in ther dumpster?” Spike pointed at the top of the top as it was punched up.
“AppleJack come here” RainbowDash had AppleJack point her gun at the dumpster as he ripped of the bar that held it closed. Then he slowly opened it and pointed her flash light around. He didn’t see anything until the creature moved. RainbowDash jumped back a fell on the ground.
“What was it?” Spike asked
“I’m not sure… I think it was a rat” RainbowDash had no clue but he didn’t want to check again!
“Let me have a look” AppleJack climbed up the side ad took a peak in to find… “A puppy? How did ther guy get himself stuck in there?” The turtle was a skinny looking thing. The puppy was only about three feet tall; it had a relatively clean coat of black and white fur after rolling in a dumpster! The group new it was probably looking for food. Fluttershy grabbed a decent size wad of bread and fed it to the turtle. The Spike poured some water in the box the food was in to let the turtle drink. After the turtle finished with its drink it took a pee on the side of the golf cart.
“Yep… it’s a boy!” Twilight informed the group in a silly voice
“Wow… not every day you find a dumpster turtle!” Applebloom seemed just as wowed as the other members that their group just saved a puppy!
“Well, let’s get to business!” RainbowDash said in a very commanding voice “what should the turtle’s name be? Personally, Legend sounds like a good name to me… but ther is democracy. So what do you guys think the name should be?”
“Broniepony” Spike smiled
“Spikester” Now AppleJack was grinning
“I agree with RainbowDash on the name being Legend” Sweetiebell nodded, and then smiled. It seemed the turtle had booster their moral after just 30 minutes!
“I think the turtle should be named Tank” Twilight pointed her sword out!
“What about woods?” Rarity added with probably the biggest grin!
“I think the name should be my choice, so I chose… Dro Ranger” Applebloom laughed a little!
“So, who’s do we chose?” Spike asked
“After I heard Twilight’s I liked her better” Sweetiebell announced
“Me too” RainbowDash made a hand motion for everyone else to vote
“Tank is a fine name, is it ok with you guys?” Fluttershy looked around, and since no one interrupted she said “than come here Tank!” The Tank was very attentive, so he came over right away and gave a loud YIP.
“Well, I think we have wasted a lot of time with the turtle… we should get going now” Twilight grabbed the fuel and poured two cartons in then took the other three and put them on the wagon with the rest of the supply’s. RainbowDash got on back and so did Applebjack. Fluttershy, Spike, and Sweetiebell were the middle row. Rarity was driving and Applebloom and Twilight rode shotgun.
“Alright, everybody read, do you have your guns loaded?” RainbowDash started down the checklist.
“Everybody comfy, cause we might be on ther thing for a couple of hours!”
“YES, RainbowDash, jeez, we’re all fine let’s just go!” AppleJack yelled
“Ok… up, up” RainbowDash said as he patted her knees, then the turtle jumped up and gave him a big turtlegy kiss. “Rarity, we’re ready when you are.” RainbowDash set her gun down on the top rack of the cart, so he could pet Tank. While they were driving Fluttershy drew a picture of Tank on the back of the groups ‘death roster’. It looked just like the turtle! Everyone took turns looking at it. Tank agreed he looked pretty sexy because he gave her bark of approval.
About half way down the freeway AppleJack asked “Why are we going back to STEM?”
“You’ll never know what you might find, what if we find more survivors” Twilight answered for RainbowDash. Tank yipped to let them know he agreed!
As more time passed it got darker so they got to the middle of the freeway and set up camp the same way they usually do. Sweetiebell and Spike gathered wood, sticks, and tinder for the fire. Fluttershy laid down the tarps. Rarity and Applebloom watched over everything with guns trained and ready to shoot, and after the wood was gathered RainbowDash, Applebjack, and Tank made the fire using some of the fuel. Twilight did pour the rest of the fuel in the cart before they went to bed so they would be able to make a somewhat quick getaway if needed. But the one thing that was different that night, is the group slept very well knowing there was a turtle watching over them… making sure everyone was safe and happy. If someone woke up Tank would shift over and lay next to them until they felt safe enough to go back to sleep. He was one heck of a loyal turtle! They didn’t know it yet, but the chance of them surviving their trip to Ponyville was very slim Rarity slept hard that night so he wasn’t the first to wake up. The first was Tank. He woke the group up one by one. He would roll on top of them, lick them, just normal turtle things to wake them up. Sweetiebell got up and fed the turtle with some of their supplies.
“I think we need to ‘A’ go get food, or ‘B’ go hunt for food!” Twilight got up and went for her gun, as he did so he noticed a strange looking bush growing on the side of the intersection, “ther place is starting to look like an apocalypse happened!”
“Guys we need to pack up and leave, we have barely any gas left, and if we want to find supplies before the end of day…” Sweetiebell also grabbed her gun and made a run for the bushes to take a pee. When he unzipped her pants and flood jumped up and tackled him to the ground, luckily Tank jumped up on top of the zombie and distracted him for long enough that Twilight was able to get of 3 shot to kill the zombie.
“Wow, now I owe you 2 lifetimes!” Sweetiebell thought of how many times he would have to mow Twilight’s lawn before he paid him back!
“Spike, wake up” RainbowDash shook Spike and woke him up
“I’m doing that to wake you up now let’s go, it’s dangerous here!” RainbowDash picked up Spike and carried him over to the cart.
“*Smack Smack*” Tank wanted to ride in front so he could stick her head out the front window
“Not while I’m alive” AppleJack pushed the turtle off the seat, Tank growled at him. “OK, fine, you can sit in my lap… you dumb turtle” Tank hesitated but then accepted her offer and paid him back with a few licks to the face.
Suddenly a loud siren started sounding their ear drums piercing the air. They were all put in a frenzy…
