Load Full StoryCloudsdale, Equestria.
The pita-patter of rain only sound through cloud home of Star Runner, a candle flickered in the darkness as the dim light fell upon a midnight blue pegasus sat at his desk, with pen in hoof he wrote.
to whom it may concern,
By the time you are reading this I will have been gone for several hours. I can no longer live here, my shame of being unable to fly is too much, and I have decided to move to a small town far from here. For those I have hurt by this choose I'm sorry, please don't look for me for this the best possible option. Good Bye.
Sincerely,
Star Runner
The stallion put his pen down satisfied with his work, got up, and walked to front door. He picked up his duffle bag that nestled by the door. He took one last look back at his old home, and with a heavy heart and sigh he open the door and left, leaving his old furnishings and a lone candle flicker in the darkness.
The cool summer rain fell lazily towards the ground below, Star gave out a chuckle he never knew the made rain here, most likely not to show favoritism or something like that. Star began to walk down the street the rain gently falling on his midnight blue coat and wings, slightly wetting his mane. Within fifteen minutes he reached his detestation The Distant Travel's balloon service. Normally it was used to transport unicorns and earth ponies to Cloudsdale for daily visits, but today he was using it to get to his new life. He walked up to the ticket booth, a unicorn mare sat behind the counter a tabloid magazine featuring Fleet Foot with a mare. Plot holes he thought to himself, he coughed to get the mare's attention. The mare looked up to find a pegasus stallion looking at her.
"May I help," she asked calm voice, setting down her magazine.
"Lot on your mind I'd take it," She said with a smile, pushing a button that relished a ticket." anyway that will be ten bits,".
" Is it that obvious," he said with slight chuckle while rubbing the back of his head. he reached in the bag and pulled out the correct amount of bits and hoofing them to mare. After placing them in the bit register, passed the ticket to him.
"Before you go remember, as long as hope shines in the darkness there is always tomorrow," she told with confident smile.
"Thank you, I'll try to remember that," he said before nodding and left for the balloon with the ticket in hoof.
He quickly found the balloon, it was normal hot air hot balloon pink being it prime color with purple floral trim. it was ponied by pegasus stallion with a wind cutie mark. Star stepped into the basket and handed the ticket to the balloon pony. They set off towards Ponyville, leaving Cloudsdale and bitter memories behind.
