This is also a work in progress, and my first real story to be published, so please go easy on me XD. If nothing else I'd like you to get a feel of wonderment and enjoy the read, and criticism is appreciated, I am a poet, and I can't draw or anything, So I'm trying to branch out in terms of writing, so help me as much as you think you can, in turn I'll keep writing. If you want more, I'll keep writing, but I don't want to keep going on something people don't enjoy, so if it's not liked I'll scrap it and start anew.

Prologue

A corrupt lord has ruled these lands, countless times, however none so great as the vessels of power, for there are only a mere few true everlasting entities of power within this world, stretched out into a fabric of existence we cannot comprehend, those are “Order and Discipline,” “Wisdom and Omniscience,” “The Darkness,” “The Light,” “Chaos and Void,” “Deceit and manipulation.” “Love and understanding,” and a entity born anew in twilight “Cosmos and Magic,” accidentally born from the element of harmony she held, which in turn made her a alicorn.

All these entities harbor within a vessel, granting immortality, power, strength, control, only at the cost of abiding completely by the power's rules. Some of these entities have tried to conquer the entire world, but only have gotten so far thanks to the powers that the world created, They are now known as the “Elements of Harmony,” weapons, created by the world, to defend against the other powers, if they decided to harm the world. Originally born from the tree of harmony as just a source of everlasting life, it now serves a more destructive purpose.

The power of light, Celestia, and the power of darkness, Luna, fought beside each other, to defeat the forces together, with the help of the new weapons. But the call of ultimate power is to tempting even for the holder of darkness, giving into the tainted parts of her power. Being banished, for 1000 years.

Celestia has cut her own powers in half now, scared of the temptation from the power of light, still ruling day by day. However she has found warriors to use the weapons in more effectiveness, people more capable, and have even succeeded in putting down some of the former evils that once again tried to rise up. Sombra, holder of the power of “Order and Discipline”, giving into the harshest forms, taking hold of the darkest his powers may offer, complete dominance, slavery, and shackles to make sure nothing is out of line, order. Crysalis, vessel to the power of “Deceit and Manipulation”, a power forged from evil itself, anyone holding this power is tainted with malice and desire nothing more than to leech life, a power of pure disgust. Discord, holder of the power of “Chaos and Void” The second most frightening power to hold, A power that is not evil, but is quite hard to control, only one person has ever held the power, and that is discord, no one can kill him, and the power has no reason of leaving, almost as old as the universe itself, he is a living cosmic force. Even the power of “Darkness” was defeated, Luna herself, however her power was suppressed by the elements of harmony, making her the Luna from times past, she has no intention of releasing her full power ever again.

All these beings defeated, All by the weapons the world has forged, and the people able to use it all 100%, because unlike Celestia, the 5 chosen are not swayed by the elemental fragments like one using them all would be. So with all this, the land of Equestria is in peace, ponies live their life, some ponies quest for cutie marks, some try to be the best fliers, some are studying, some are in school, some are just being born, the world...it really couldn't be any more perfect, like...it's the top of the mountain, and you made it, but that means you have to come down on the other side...
