[Note that this is 3rd person in the beginning but i do plan to make it 1st person in later chapters. Yeah im indecisive like that :P And also expect changes in chapters whether it be adding a few lines or correcting just a few words that i misspelled]

Maximus Ordayus is a Roman Captain's son who has been trained to be in one of the Court's which were The Assembly, a court for the people of the Roman Republic, the Senate, and finally the highest position anyone can achieve in Rome was the Consul for 14 years but the sudden war with the Cimbri changed that and was taught the past 4 years, by his father to be a soldier. Even though he is of age to enlist into the Roman ranks, his father Regulus, held him back since he wanted to make sure that his son was ready.

The Royal Sister's have grown tired of their father's vicious ways of ruling the land, so they decide to offer up a rebellion to anyone who will listen. How do you think they'll feel when they see a face of something they have never seen before?
And how do you think this creature will go about living in a very strange yet very familiar world?
