Power

Power chapter 2

You wake up again in the same bed with your spine aching. You groan, and look around the room. You find yourself inches away from a face, causing you to quickly move back. The yellow pegasus was in the room, along with a purple unicorn and another white unicorn. They all stare at you in silence. The purple unicorn looked very amused for some reason. "Uhh, hello..?" You say slowly. The purple unicorn jumped.
"Hi! I'm Twilight Sparkle. What's your name?"

You sit frozen in the spot on the bed, shocked. You look at the other ponies and they stood there, waiting for an answer. "Uhh, my n-name is... Uhh, I... I can't..." You mumble to yourself, rubbing your head. Trying to remember. Just as the unicorn was about to speak, she was cut off by the pegasus.
"Umm, he, t-told me he couldn't re-remember anything." She said quietly.
"Amnesia?" The nurse asked, you nod your head.
"Oh, I might have a spell for that back at the library! Is he mobile?" Twilight asked the nurse.
"Well, he needs lots of rest, but I think he'll live." The nurse looked back at you for your opinion. You sigh and rub your forehead with your hands. You can’t believe or understand what was going on. But, if she was going to help you, it was worth a shot.

You nod back to Twilight Sparkle and the nurse, then sit up at the edge of the bed and stretch. "Ow," You flinch rubbing your back. The yellow pegasus looked away, hiding her face. You get up, feet aching, and put on your socks and shoes.
"Lead the way..." You mumble to Twilight. She trotted out of the room. You notice you have bandages on your legs too. You sort of had to speed-walk outside to keep up with her trotting, and can't help but notice there were no other people, or ponies around. It was very early in the morning. You both walk for a while and she started talking.
"So... Where are you from? What species are you? I have so many questions!" She asked looking at you like she had too much sugar. You look back at her, and clear your throat.

"I don't know... So I'm hoping you can help me. I don't know how I got here, and I have this huge headache-" You suddenly hear someone from above say something.
"WOAH, what is that?!" You turn around to see nothing. But you look up and see a cyan blue pegasus charging towards you. You quickly dive roll out of the way, turn around and she dashed to the ground and to look at you, challenging look on her face. You give her the same look. She charges at you with great speed, and you do the same, her hooves stretched out to attack.
"Rainbow dash stop! He's safe!" You hear Twilight yell. The rainbow maned pegasus didn't listen. She kept charging. You don’t want to attack because one, you aren’t in the condition. So you choose to dodge again.

As she was very close you make a quick decision and side-flip over her, making her go right under you and stop a few metres away. She grinned and growled at the same time. She got ready for another attack when Twilight jumped between the two of you.
"Rainbow stop! He's not gonna hurt us! He needs our help!" She said looking worried. You and Rainbow both look at each other and then she spoke.
"What is it?" She asked tilting her head. You cross your arms and blow air through your nose.
"It doesn't matter. He's suffered amnesia and he needs my help getting his memory back." Twilight explained as she continued walking towards her house.

You and Rainbow dash continually look at eachother and follow Twilight. Rainbow followed along with you, suspiciously giving you the evil eye. You don’t really like her attitude, but people are different... Or, ponies you guess... Ugh, you’re going to have to get used to this. You follow Twilight to a giant tree house, looking like a library from the inside. She opened a door to go down stairs into the basement, and you hesitate until Rainbow dash shoves you and you continue. Inside the basement were tons and tons of equipment and machinery. Twilight gives you some sort of hat.

"Here, put this on, and clear your mind as much as possible." She told. Which was kind of hard to do with Rainbow dash staring at you. You close your eyes, even though you sense her watching. You suddenly feel your headache disappear, which was a relief. And after a while you start to remember somethings, your name, who you are. And what you did before you appeared in the forest. You hear Twilight concentrating. And she stopped and you open your eyes, she was breathing hard and you take off the helmet.
"Are you ok?" You ask, rubbing your head.
"Yeah, I'm, I'm fine. Did it work? Can you remember anything?" She asked catching her breath.
"Yeah, I can remember something. My name is, Anonymous, a human being..." You start.
"Good! Anything else?" Twilight said lightening up a bit.
"I, I remember what happened before I got here. I was trying, to... To go somewhere, maybe here but I can't remember, why." You say forcing your eyes closed, trying to remember.
"But, there was one more thing... I, think I have... Some sort of, power..." You hesitate, looking at Twilight.
"Phft, yeah right." Rainbow dash rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, hooves... Damn it.

"Well, what kind of power? Can you do anything?" Twilight asked tilting her head. You concentrate, and try doing what in some sort of way feels right, and try to move something, a book on the shelf comes into sight. You use your hand as to levitate it. It started to float and move off the shelf, and in dropped it in your slightly shaking hands. You look at Twilight then Rainbow dash with a surprised look on your face. There was a small silence until you hear Rainbow dash clear her throat.
"Phft, that's easy, Twilight can do that with a Ursa Minor. I bet you can't fly!" Rainbow boasted, floating in the air. You close your eyes to concentrate again.

A small breeze picked up in the room and you start to levitate in the air. A small nose bleed broke out again, and you fall to the ground on your hands and knees. "I-I'm just weak..." You say, getting back up. Rainbow dash rolls her eyes with the, 'yeah right' look. You glare at her, grunting. You wipe your nose with your shirt, and it stained along with the rest of the blood.

"Are you alright?" Twilight asked, walking towards you.
"Nah, I'm fine." You say wiping your shirt, spreading the blood and some appears on your hands.
"I just need a shower or something to wash me off." You sigh looking at your hands with blood on them.
"And maybe a change of clothes." You say wryly, lifting up your bloody ripped shirt. It looks like you just came back from a murder spree.
"Well, I have a shower here that you can use, and Rarity can-" Twilight stopped as she looked out the door.
“Uhh, maybe you should stay here, ponies might find you... Odd." She blushed. You nod, looking down.
"Hey, I have other friends who might want to meet you. You can have a shower and I’ll be right back with my other friends." She smiled as she pointed with her hoof up the stairs. She waved good bye and you do the same back. She closed the door behind her and the house was silent, with you and Rainbow dash staring at each other, awkwardly.
"I, uh..-" You start,
"you have a lot of talent with those, wings..." You stutter, looking at her and fiddling with your hands.
"Thanks," She sat up, flapping her wings a couple of times.
"Same with you, well. with your... Um," She said confused.
"Legs." You correct her.
"Yeah..." She bit her lip and looked around the room.
“Well, I guess I'll have a shower now, I kinda need it." You break the silence, walking up the stairs.
"Yeah, ok. Oh and wait..." She said biting her lip. You turn around to face her.
"Yeah?"
"I just wanted to... A... Apologize, for..." She mumbled roughly and quiet.
"It's fine. Apology accepted." You quickly wave then head upstairs. She giggled then thanked you, but she tells you she would be staying here till everyone.. Everypony else arrived. You walk upstairs and into the bathroom. You remove your clothes and bandages and stare at the wounds for a while, then hop in the shower. It was a bit different from back home, but you manage.

You put your shirt back on, but it practically fell off so you don't bother. You sling the shirt over one shoulder and walk out of the bathroom and to the top of the stairs. A bunch of eyes turn to you as you stare back down on them. You try not to blush but your cheeks turned a light red. They smile, and the orange pony with the hat started talking.

"Heh, heh! Some pony has some muscles!" She said pointing her hoof at your chest." You blush a brighter red.
"And that nasty scar too,~" The white unicorn with a purple mane growled playfully. You quickly put the shirt on, though it didn't really make a difference, but it made you feel slightly more comfortable. You suddenly hear a loud gasp from a pony who burst through the front door. A bright pink coloured pony with no wings or horn. She ran so fast up the stairs her legs became a blur and she leaps at you.
You both flew through a door and into a bedroom and land on a bed. You hear a crack in your back, which felt kinda good, but the position you were in was kinda awkward if you thought about it. She pressed her muzzle up against your nose and smiled with a huge grin. The rest of the ponies rushed upstairs and start to laugh. The pink pony started to talk really, really fast. The only words you could make out we're balloons, cake, and oatmeal. And at the end she introduced her self.
"And my names Pinkie pie! What's yours?" She took in a huge breath and ended with a squee sound. You open your mouth to speak but nothing come out.
"Uhh..." You force out, confused, not knowing what to say.
"Pinkie! Get off ah him!" The freckled pony said in between breaths. Pinkie pie jumped off of you, still smiling.
"Ow!" You try to hold in, covering your chest against anything else to attack you. You are breathing hard still from the, ambush you guess you could call it. You get up and find all the ponies still staring at you.
"You must get a new shirt! That is simply ripped to shreds, and I don't know if the shirt was coloured red or not..." The swirly maned unicorn said, walking closer towards you and lifting off your shirt with her magic. You don't blush thankfully due to not making any eye contact with any of the other ponies, and with your eyes on the unicorn with the old bloody ripped up rag.
"Hmm, I might be able to make something off of this. I'll make it as fast as I can, but for now your shirtless. Hopefully that won't be a problem for you. It certainly isn't for me~..." She said with a smile while biting her lip. You look back at the other ponies sarcastically laughing lightly, clenching your teeth.
"Ah! Where are mah manners? My names Applejack. 'N this here's Rainbow dash, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie pie." Applejack said pointing to each of the ponies.
"My name’s Anonymous. You guys have cool names." You say looking at each of the ponies but then stop at Pinkie pie because of the constant squirming she had been doing ever since she got off of you.
"Uhh, Pinkie pie? Are you ok?" You ask, walking towards her. Pinkie looked at Applejack and Aj nodded. Pinkie pie jumped up in the air and yelled,
"THIS CALLS FOR A PARTY!" And disappeared down the stairs, Applejack chasing after her and yelling Pinkies name. You all stare at each other, and you look at Twilight and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Well, I guess while almost every pony is here, we can kinda get to know each other. So first, lets talk about your... Special talent I guess?" Twilight said looking at you while tilting her head.
"Special talent?" Rarity asked, not paying much attention to you, but more to the shirt.
"So he has super powers big deal!" Rainbow dash groaned, rolling her eyes. Rarity suddenly stopped examining shirt and dropped it to the ground, jaw open, and Fluttershy's eyes widened. They both gasped at the same time, and you hear Pinkie pie and Applejack from down stairs both gasp, and you hear hoof steps rush up the stairs and Pinkie stopped in the doorway.
"What kind of super powers?!" She asked intensely.
"Well, I can levitate objects and myself so far..." You shrug your shoulders, bracing for impact again since Pinkie pie was excited again. All the ponies in the room were silent with their eyes widened except for Rainbow and Twilight. The room was quiet until Twilight started talking again.
"Well... Anything else about you? Or can you not remember?" She asked. You shake your head no.
"Well, I'll try to get this shirt done as quickly as possible and get it back to you but for now it's probably best if you stay inside." Rarity explained, looking at the ripped up shirt.
"Thanks Rarity." You thank, nodding your head. She trotted down the stairs with her head held high. The rest of the ponies followed behind her with you and Rainbow dash at the back. You both went to the door and both stop in the doorway. You wave your hands out the door inviting her out.
"Ladies first!" You smile and swallow hard, sweating a bit.
"Or would it be mares?" You start thinking to yourself and notice Rainbows cheeks turn a light red and she giggled as she exited the room. She drags you along with her and you follow her and meet the rest of the crowd downstairs. Everypony left but you, Rainbow dash, and Twilight. You and Rainbow both sit down at the table and watched Twi.
"Rainbow, are you staying for breakfast?" She asked, but eyes still on the food. Rainbow paused.
"Oh, uhh sure." Dash replied, looking around the room.
"So Anon, unless at night you want to go back over to Fluttershys, you're fine to stay here for the night if you want to. Because I don't think you want to go out now..." Twilight explained, trotting over to the table.
"If that's not a problem then thank you." You look at the plate in front of you.
"Absolutely! Also, I hope you like eggs and toast, I'm kinda out of food, I have to go shopping today." She said as she sat down.
"No it looks delicious!" You complement, pulling your chair in. The chairs were a lot different from the ones back on earth, so it was hard to get comfortable. You take a bite of the eggs. It tasted so good, like nothing you've ever had before. Twilight was watching you eat, waiting for a reaction.
"Wow Twilight, this is really good! Probably the best eggs I've ever had!" You compliment, then taking another bite. She looked down and blushed, playing with her food.
"Oh, thank you! It's nice to hear that every once in a while." After you all finish breakfast, Twilight cleaned up the dishes and walked towards the door.
"I'm heading out to go shopping. You two staying here?" She asked opening the door. You and Rainbow both look at each other and nod. Twilight does the same back and closes the door behind her. You both get up from the table and sit down on the floor, wondering what to do. You look over at Rainbow and start the conversation.
"So, you look like a cool pony, what's going on in your life?" You ask. She lay on her back and stared at the ceiling.
"Uhh, not much really, I'm just not busy at all really this week, just being awesome, You?" She asked, turning her head towards you with a bit of a sparkle in her eyes.
"Nothing I can remember, I won't have much to do either. I'd go out and do something, maybe practice a bit, get some fresh air, but obviously I can't." You sigh and lay your head down on the floor.
"Practice what? Flying?" She asked in a cracky voice.
"No, but maybe that. I was thinking parkour. That's what I was doing to dodge... you know." You mumble, twiddling your thumbs.
"Yeah, sorry about that... It was kinda just a, ‘defending my friends’ kinda reflect." She lightly laughed and she sat up, rubbing the back of her head.
"Don't worry about it. So I guess you've got better things to do? I won't keep you from anything." You stretch, then stand up.
"Nah. I'd ask if you wanted to hang with me, but unless its in here we can't do much... But yeah, I might come back later, 'till then?" She asked flying towards the door.
"'Till then." You nod your head and she smiled, then flew off out the door. You sigh and sit back down in the chair. Huh, one moment she acts like she hates your guts then acts like a close friend.
