It happened so fast he barely even knew what hit him, he had been living a normal life up until this moment. Little did he know, this moment would change his life forever.
BEEP BEEP BEEP...
Steve's alarm clock announced the begging of another colourless day. Steve groaned as he smashed the alarm clocks off button and rolled out of bed blankets and all. He shuffled down to the kitchen only half aware of what was going on around him. He turned on the coffee maker and got out the milk for his cereal. After he ate breakfast Steve moseyed upstairs and took a shower. After his personal hygiene had been taken care of Steve donned his suit and tie and prepared for another long and strenuous day.
Steve worked at one of the warehouses in the city as a supervisor, he hated every minute of his job, whether it involved dealing with unions or getting bitched at by his boss. After work Steve would often go to the local pub to unwind, he was one of the pubs regular patrons. Every time he went he would pass out drunk trying to forget the monotony of his life. Steve had a gut feeling something was telling him he was in danger and that he needed to get out of there fast, he dismissed it thinking to himself that it was the alcohol.
Steve continued walking, it was around midnight and he was downtown but that didn't scare him. Steve was about 6 feet 11 inches tall and about 265 lbs of solid muscles, no sane person would mess with Steve, and he was correct no "sane" person would. But his large build wouldn't stop Barry. Barry or how he was known to most people Barry the Chopper was a serial killer who had recently escaped from death row, he had to kill someone it had been so long since he had felt the warm feeling of blood flowing onto his hands as he killed one of his victims. Barry saw Steve walking down the sidewalk, he took in Steve's full height he estimated about 6 foot 9, and knew that he wouldn't be able to kill this guy by force, so he decided to trick him instead.
Year's of watching people's emotions had made Barry a master of deception, most viewed him as a charming and charismatic individual.
