Chapter 1: Humble Beginnings

hay everypony! this is my first ever fic you all like it as I have two more where this came from!

Chapter 1: Humble Beginnings
It was a warm night as always at Jahayca General Hospital as a proud stallion and a pained mare were mins away from having there third foal.
"Remember the breathing techniques honey" said Longsword, a zebra unicorn with a silver coat and golden yellow stripes, mane and tail as he tries his best to help his wife though her time of labor.
"BREED OUT YO PUSSY BUMBCLOTAAAAAAA!!!!!" Needless to say she didn't care much for his help!
"Baby, please don't cuss in front of da kids dem?!" Longsword said as a cute snow white pegasus zebra filly with cobalt blue mane, tail and stripes with sky blue highlights in each approached him.
"Daddy! why mummy day inna pain an a cuss!" Wind Wiss was always a smart little filly who always had a way to figure things out whether she was supposed to or not.

"WHAT! MIEE NEW BRADA DA EAR YET?!" said a small yet rowdy leather brown zebra colt with orange mane and tail with crimson red highlights, as he slides into the room exceat of what could be the doctor and three nurses come in to deliver the coples foel.
"Not yet Starbolt, gowan wit de nurse and wait outside" Longsword said as a nurse began guide them out the room
"No! me wa see mi brada!" Said Starbolt as he slammed his hoof into the ground anchoring himself and stopping the nurse mare leading them out in place
"ME TU!" Said Wiss as the little pegis filly flue back in the room in a flash.
The nurse was absolutely baffled at how little foal could posses strength and speed at such young ages, and thats when she looked them in their eyes and what she saw she couldn't believe.
"A..Are dose de eyes of a dragon?!
"YO! enof come outta de room now! mi na go talk to onu again!" Long said in a booming voice only a father could produce
With saddened faces and heads hung low the two draconic fouls leave the room with a slightly scared nurse in tow.
With all distraction out of the room, the remaining nurses monitoring her vitals and checking the vagina for the crowing of the baby head. With all the prep work out the way and her husband by her side Dolly Dearest was ready to have her child as the doctor began to talk to her from in front of her baby cannon.
"Alright Mrs.Dearest, you're about 10m dilated are you ready t-"
"SHUT DE BUCK UP AND GET IT OUT A ME!!" Dolly belted out, just about ready to kill somepony.
"I think shes ready" Long said struggling to keep the blood in his hoof flowing as Dolly squeezed it for dear life.
"Well alright then...lets begin

After hours of pain, yelling, and the mighty General Longsword passing out, at 11:58 baby Sharpshine was born, a cute little dark gray zebra unicorn with purple mohawk mane and tail and gray highlights in both. As soon as he was cleaned up and wrapped in a warm blanket Wind Wiss and Starbolt were let in to view their new sibling.
"Awww, hes so cute" Said Wiss as she boop the newborn foal muzzle
"Yeah! another good-lookin' dracopony" Said Starbolt as he gently nudged the in the cheek with a hoof
Just as he did that the newborn let out an absolutely adorable yean which causes everypony in the room to let out a collective "Awwwwwwww". After that the hospital staff leaves the family to be better acquainted with there new member
"Another fine drarcopony" Longsword states as he looks from Sharpshine then to Wiss then Starbolt
"Indeed father, ohhh I cant wait until he's old enough to start training with me and Starbolt"
"Yeah! me wa show him di finer points a bladework"
"Please, your will have him fighting like a rabid animal"
"And!? dragons are to battle with righteous fury"
"and elegant grace as well, dragons are beautiful creatures with great and divine power and as draco ponies we incompass those traits as will!"
"pff whatever, all I know is me and my bro are gonna buck shit up an-"
Starbolt's excited rambling were brought to a halt by a swift hoof to the back of the head from Dolly.
"Language! and both of you will train him to be a fine warrior like yourselves and your father" Dolly stated as she resumed munching away on her ice chips to keep her mouth from drying.
"your mother is right, we will all have a hoof in raising him into a fine stallion isn't that right Sharpy" Said Longsword as he nuzzled his new baby colt which earned a cute little giggle that caused the whole fam to life as will.
"Yes you will"

In their living room Starbolt and Wiss were helping their baby brother learn to trot and he was getting the hang of it quite well, just last month he said his first word "blade", living in a household with three battle ponies will cause that. As the kids played, Dolly cooked dinner and Longsword was in his study wiping down his many bladed weapons three knocks were heard at the door
"knock" "knock" "knock"
"NOT IT!" Starbolt shouted
"Horseapple!" Wiss muttered under her voice as she trotted up to the door to answer it
"Hello young one, I have a letter here for a...Gen.Longsword?" the mailmare said holding out a cream colored envelope with a black, green, and gold seal of a mabari hound
"just one moment...DADDY, IT FI YOU!" the little filly shouted much to the displacer of the mailmare.
"coming!" said Long as he made his way to the door and Wiss want back to playing with her brothers.
"can I help you?"
"yes, I have a letter here straight from the Prime himself."
'Hmmm the Prime Minister himself?! this must be important' Long though as he took the letter and closed the door
Dolly who had come to the living room to tell everypony that dinner was ready was the first to speak
"who was it?"
"mailmare with a letter from the top brass and with this seal it must be urgent!"
"will dont leave us in suspense..." Said Dolly jokingly.
Long chuckled sarcastically as he began opening the letter and reading it out loud.
Dear Gen.Longsword
It is with great honor that I write this letter, for I have chosen you and your family to help strengthen the might of our equestrian allies. In two days you all are too bored a first-class train to Canterlot and report to their ruler Princess Celestia and assist her in bolstering her troops, for you are our most well-decorated, disciplined, and bravest soldier we have to offer.
good luck in all your future endeavors and always remember you and your family our flag with pride wherever you go.

The kids looked at there parents with confusing looks, both wondering if they were really going to leave their lives behind for new friends,places, advancers, and most appealing to them new fighting techniques.
Long, dawning the same look of confusion as his children looks up to his wife for approval of what to do, and with a simple head nod he received his answer.
"Daddy, a wa we'a go' do?" Wiss chirped with her jahaycan accent showing
looking at his children in their soulful dragon eyes he gives them his answer.
"kids...a' move we a' move....TO CANTERLOT!" he says in a boysrus and jolly voice which causes the whole family (even baby Sharpy) to cheer in excitement of a new start for there new family.
The Sharpshine Chronicles
As the two squads troted their way toward the center of the area, glares were shot between the opposing squads, thickening the tension to the point where it could be cut. Arriving at the center, the two squads line up muzzle-to-muzzle, still locked in there death glares. Noticing all the anticipation and adrenaline in the air, Sargent Drell proceed to start the match.
“As is custom within CGA, all combatants must state their name and rank with the squad leader stateing the squad callsign. The squad on my left will go first.” Said Drell as he pointed his left hoof to his left.
Nova Squad Theme
“...Oh me first!? Private First Class Taya...” said the military mare as she saluted. She was a unicorn with a tan coat and sapphire mane and tail and wore a yellow combat outfit. She also had two blue dot under her left eye and wore blue lipstick and was adorned with mystic tattoos around her arms and neck. Sharpshine had often seen Morningstar and Velocity put a little eye shadow on every now and then but never lipstick. But what was really weird was that she had no weapon! She just glowed a purple and blue aura, dawning a face of pure concentration with piercing golden eyes.
“..Private Second Class Ecuador!...” Bellowed the berly stallion in a gruff Mexicolt voice. He was an earth pony with a brown coat, black faux hawk, and a full black beard and wore a tattered orange t-shirt had spiked steel hoofs as his weapons of choice. The look on his face was one of bloodlust, as he snorts his lips began to curl into a devious grin as he leered intimidatingly. It would’ve been a bit more intimidating if it wasn’t for the fact that he was a pygmy!
Sharp squad hadn't noticed before but despite him being bulky with all those muscles, he was a total shrimp! Standing only as tall as a pre-teen pony he actually had to look up at other ponies. Thinking about it made the squad snicker a little. Hearing laughter, Ecuador looked upon the benches to see Sharp squad still in there bout of laughter , fixing his gaze at the squad he muders under his breath.
“...Soon!”
“...And Lieutenant Axle, squad leader of callsign Nova.” Said the Lt, saluting as a proud and confident grin graced his muzzle. Axle was also an earth pony but much more leaner then Ecuador. He had a slate coat and brown mane and tail and had green determined eyes. He wore a brown combat shirt that had his hatchet strapped to the lower half and a striped metal shin guard on his left hind leg.
With Nova finished with their intro, Delta began theres.
Delta Squad Theme
“Corporal Dom Santihaygo.” Dom had a light gray coat and black mane, tail and gorgeous beard! Like seriously this beard was stupid awesome, maybe because he had the right jaw structure or something but that beard was the shizz, it had a 5 o'clock shadow with a thick chinstrap over it and a subtle but noticeable beatnik and it has Sharpshine fancolting in silents. Another thing that stood out about this grizzy-looking pegasus was his seemingly impregnable armor and the commando knife strapped to the torso
“Private Cole Train baby! Woo!” He shouted,the brown brawny earth stallion almost oosed intensity. A toothy, enthusiastic grin graced his muzzle. He wielded a hefty-looking warhammer as well as sporting the same type of armor as his comrades.
“Sergeant Marcus Haynix, commanding officer of Delta squad.” Some how Haynix seemed more intimidating than that savage Ecuador! like his squadmates Haynix wore a armored as well, he also sported a black bandana on his head with an odd-looking gear emblem on it. Haynix was as grizzly and hairy-assed as they got. But none of that was as impressive (and intimidating) as his weapon: a 3-foot long, weighty, solid-metal blade, well cleaver to be exact.
With the introductions out of the way, Sergeant Drell processed to speak.
“Now with the pleasantries out of the way, will anypony like to give any final words?”
There was a moment of pause before Axle stepped up to speak.
“Yeah, I just wanted to say good luck and lets have a great battle for all these folks.” A jubilant and genuine smile graced his face as he held out a hoof, waiting for a brohoof.
Looking down at the hoof in front of him then back at its owner, Haynix simple shot Axle a mean mug and uttered…
“Bring It!”
"Um..alrighty then!" Said Axle as he awkwardly withdrew his hoof and stepped back, rejoining his squad.
“Now without further adieu...LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE!” And with that said, the two squads quickly lunge away from each other and into their formations, ready for combat.

Battle Groove
“Taya! take Dom ,Ecuador, on me!” Axle barked his orders causing his squad to bolt to action in response.
As she closed in on her target, Taya began to focus magic to her hoofs, forming magic claws as she started her onslaught of swift fury swipes. Dom manages to perform a series of backsteps and dodges avoiding the assault but not before taking a couple of hits to the neck and the unarmored parts of his arms. Noticing his fresh wounds Dom decides to go on the offensive and fight back with a few slashes from his commando knife witch score four minor cut.
“Ah! son of a...” Taya dashes back to look over her wounds. Seeing that they weren't too severe she casted a basic healing spell, quickly healing her wounds.
“Their, much better.” Taya said as she recasted her phaseclaw spell and readying herself for more combat.
“Aw shit!” Taya’s quick healing abilities caught Dom off guard but being the well trained soldier he is he kept his cool.
‘This is gonna be one hell of a fight!’ He contemplated as he clutched his blade and continued his assault.

The sound of clashing steel and strained grunts could be heard from the battle of the other four combatants. The fight was fearsome as Ecuador and Axle fought in complete tandem as Ecuador took point, engaging in hoof-to-hoof combat as Axle assisted. Cole and Haynix defended as best they could, Cole connecting a few blows but only for Ecuador to brush them off and Haynix sending flurry after flurry at Axle for him to deflect some while others connected. Just then as Haynix was about to deliver a broad, cleaving swipe to Ecuador’s blind side, Axle catches it by the beard of his axe.
“Nice try guy!” The LT said smirking as he began to counter the blow by tossing aside the large blade and executing a hacking strike to Cole’s lower torso just below his armor and delivering an elbow bash to the back of the head effectively dispatching the energetic private of Delta.
“Ooo! thats gotta hurt.” Said Sharpshine, wincing at the site and the rest of the cadets still watching intensely.
“Grasies LT! I thought that was my head for sure!” Said Ecuador, thankful that he had a leader with such quick reflexes.
“Thenada Ed, besides with a blade that size he cant have much stanima left."
“Pony down! medic!” Drill Sergeant Drell barked as the other fighters simply backpedaled from each other and ceased combat for two medic ponies to trot out with a stretcher. They stabilized the wound before lifting the injured stallion onto the stretcher and proceed to exit the arena.
“Don’t worry everypony! the Cole Train’ll be back on dem tracks in no time baby! Woo!” The privates little outburst caused his gash to open a bit and spert a little blood, causeing Morningstar to gag some.
"Umm, what was that!?" Said Velocity, Leering upon Morningstar with both a condescending gaze and grin.”
“S-Shut ya face bitch! “Hissed Morningstar as she began a nervous sweat
.
“The fuck you call me?!” Whispered Velocity as she pulled in her supposed comrade into her face by the scruff of her combat vast, giving Morningstar a leer that could melt a galaxy!
“QUIT IT!” Growled Sharpshine, having been fed up with their quarreling by now.
Giving each other one more death glare, the two military mares simply looked away from each other and, with a disappointing “Yes Sir”, continued to spectate the match.
The medics roll theres at and give him a ‘I told you so, dumass’ look.
As the medics make their way off the arena, Drell troted back to the center of the ring.
“Resume!” And with that the battle continued, as furiously as ever.
At that moment, Haynix attempted to lunge in and land a right hook on Haynix untill was side-swiped as Dom’s body came crashing into him from the left, bringing them both to the ground.
“Ah! sonofabitch! Dom!?...you ok-” Was all Haynix said before he saw his comrades unconscious face,still breathing but out cold.
Looking up from his KO’ed komrade, Haynix could see the pony responsible as Taya calmly made her way toward them, a condescending look adorned her face and a hateful one on Haynix’s.
“You know for all that armor you guys wear, you sure are easy to take down.” She said as Taya took her squad leaders side and began chuckling at the defeated looks on their faces.
“Alright bro you have one of two options” Axle began to say in a dead-serious tone. “Forfeit...or be destroyed!”
On his knees and staring at the still unconscious face of his comrade and best friend, Haynix thought of all possible ways this fight could end…and none of them good!
“Were waiting for an answer here!” Yelled Taya, a bit pissed of that her squad leader was being ignored.
With his back against the wall and all his squadmates down, Haynix could only sit there, still staring at his comrade’s unconscious person, seething with rage.
“Last chance buddy!” Said Axle as he unsheathes his hatchet, readying for a knockout blow.
“ANSWER ME!”
With great resolve in his heart, Haynix answers with but a whisper.
"Eat shit and die!"
"Umm what was that?" Said Taya as both her and Axle lean in a bit closer to better hear Haynix's response.
"I said, eat shit and die!"
Last Stand
Just then, Haynix tossed Dom’s body off the arena and out of harm’s way. then in one swift motion swings around his clever and nearly disembowels both of his enemies in one sweep. But both Axle and Taya have the speed and agility to avoid the attack that soon turns into a barrage as the duo rapidly ducked and dodged the incoming swipes, Haynix trying furiously to strike them down.
“You stuck-up fucks will pay for what you did to my squad!” Roared Haynix as he continued his assault, his words soaked in rage and vengeance in his eyes.
This went on untill...
*CLINK*
In the blink of an eye, Axle caught Haynix’s blade within the beard of his hatchet yet again!
“DUCE!” Yelled Axle as he kicked Haynix straight in the temple, causing him to fly off to the left and crash into the ground, bloody and barely twitching. The entirety of Nova squad then trots up to the broken body of the sargent.
“Enofe!” Shouted Drell as he galloped between the two factions
Looking over the defeated stallion, Drell could see that he was still alive. Beatin' to near death and unconssios but alive
“Delta squad is no longer fit for combat. Nova squad is the victor!”
Hearing those words hurt almost as much as the throbbing pain Cole felt from his wound. For his squad had failed.
“Well, that was easy.” Said Taya as she brushed the dirt that had accumulated on her coat from her little bout with Corporal Santihaygo.
“Private! thats not how we treat our comrades.” Scold Lieutenant Axle
"Yes sir"
"Well I for one though it was a great fight!” Bellowed Private Ecuador, licking the blood off his steel hoofs
“Indeed it was Private. Nova, you may retire to the barracks to recover or join your fellow cadets in watching the remaining bouts.” Said Sergeant Drell as he approached the unit.
“Thank you sir, were pretty beat so we’ll head for the barracks.” said Axle
“Before you go…” said Sergeant Drell as he reached down for a suede box and pulled out three metals.
“By the will of our fair and graceful rulers, it is with pride and honor that I award you all with the first metals of your long military careers…
“The metal of Tenacity, for surviving basic training and acing the academy.”
Sergeant Drell then gingerly placed a metal on each of their chest, the polished silver metal of a pony hefting a bolder on its back shined brightly in the evening sun.
“Welcome to the Royal Guard kids!” Said Sergeant Drell with a smile as he shook their hoofs
“Thank you sir! Me and my squad will serve equestra and her ponies with pride and honor!” Stated Axle as he and his squadmates saluted, beads of liquid pride begin to form within his eyes.
“Im sure ya will son.”
And with that Nova squad made their way to the barracks for some r&r.
“Ok, one match down three more to go.” Said Drell, looking to his clipboard to see what was next.
“Ah geez! This is gonna take forever!” Sharpshine though growing more and more inpatient.
“I just hope I don’t have to go up against...her!” Sharpshine mudered as he scowled toward the mare in question.
She hadn’t noticed Sharp but the memories between the two of them were still fresh in his mind.
“*sigh* It’ed be too soon.” Groaned Sharpshine as he lowered his head in sadden though
Noticing her commanding officer’s depressed mood, Morningstar decided to make up for her behavior earlier and get on the sarg’s good side.
With a sly grin on her face, Morningstar scooched closer to Sharp and gently began to stroke his sheth, elateing a surprised yelp from Sharp.
“Ah! w-what are y-you doing!?” Mowned Sharp, struggling to keep his voice (and growing erection) down.
“Just makein’ sure my sarge goes into battle stress free.” Said Morningstar, sensually licking her grinning lips.
