The Signing Of The Contract
Everyone, everything, was gloomier than usual. There wasn't a single smile to be seen in miles, yet one person had a small smirk. Everyone knew it was coming, they just decided to not tell the princess. She had the pen in her hand, the contract in the other, and they knew she was making a wise, yet horrible decision, and for some reason, no one had the guts to save the princess from loosing her life, her temper, her darling.
But they were wrong. She was going to loose her temper, her darling, but loosing her life would mean drastic measures. No one was that cruel in the world. No one was cruel enough to kill a women after they planned a scheme to take the one just a bit more powerful than the ruler, and her daughter it seemed.
The wallpaper was peeling, and it would continue peeling until the house had fallen apart. Lucky for all the maidens, they wouldn't have to stare much longer, for they knew, and were sure, that the house was to fall that night the second that pen hit the paper.
"Poor darling. I feel as if we should have helped the poor child,"
"Don't be silly Alistair. It was about time that poor Celia was to fall,"
"Godiva, are you saying that all those moments Celia served us dinner, and those times she gave us breaks meant nothing?"
"I wouldn't say it meant nothing. It just wasn't important," Godiva flipped her dirty blonde hair around her neck, and stood up properly like a lady should. She walked, waiting for one heel to hit the floor before the other. "Remember darling. Not everything you must praise," She shouted out to her sweet Alistair, and walked away without hesitating.
"That poor child...Must we agree to the signing?" Alistair, unlike Godiva, was rather chubby, and waddled down the hallway with the laundry basket in her hands.
There was only a small scream. Then another, and some stool throwing. The maidens didn't care less weather or not poor
