The Strange Book
It was a cool, sunny day in Ponyville. There where a couple of small clouds in the sky, and it was slightly breezy. Twilight was sitting in her library looking at her books. Spike was still asleep on his bed, his covers were about half way off of it. Twilight continued to look around until she noticed something unusual. It was a book. This book had nothing on it's front cover. It was red, dusty, and old. Twilight opened the book, but when she did, she felt a strange feeling of dizziness fall upon her as she blacked out.
“Yeah...” Twilight said groaning and rubbing her eyes. She looked up to see her five friends, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Derpy Hooves. “What happened to me?” Twilight continued.
"I came by to return a muffin cooking book when I saw you on the ground,” Derpy said. “So I decided to get help"
"Oh," Twilight said. “well in that case, thank you.”
"No problem!" Derpy responded.
"Twilight, Darling are you alright?" Rarity said. “Nothing broken?”
"No,” Twilight said. “Just a bit woozy.”
"Well sugarcube," Applejack said. “we’re gunna head on out now, bein’ that you’re alright and everything.”
"Okay then, see you tomorrow I guess.” Twilight said.
"What in Tarnation?" Applejack said, pulling on the door.
"That's strange" Twilight said. "I never lock the doors to the library until closing..."
"The windows?" Rainbow Dash suggested

"The windows?" Rainbow Dash suggested. She pointed to one of the windows. The other six walked up to it. Twilight charged her horn and shot a blast of magic at it. The magic was deflected by another magical aura and blazed by Twilight’s head.
"Well,” Twilight said. “whatever that aura came from...doesn’t want us to come out.”
"Oh darling, you must know not to say the obvious things that everypony obviously knows..." Rarity muttered sarcastically. There was a sudden, loud crash upstairs. Fluttershy let out a sudden whimper and jumped back.
“What was that?” She said, trembling with fear.
"Hey you guys" Spike said sleepily
"Spike we can't get out of here there's a magical aura surrounding the library keeping us in" twilight stated
"Can't you counter it twilight?" Spike asked
"I can't if I don't know what the spell is" twilight stated

"Oh what is it this time?" Rainbow groaned,
"I don’t know..." Twilight said. She looked at the other mares. “maybe we should find out?” The other six agreed and followed Twi downstairs to the basement. There was a nasty stench of iron and the room was stained in blood.
“Uh...sugarcube...” Applejack said with a shaky voice. “why in Equestria is there so much blood down here?”
“Experiments.” Twilight said with a slightly insane smile and tone of voice. “Just seeing how sharp knives get before they start to get smaller on an atomic level.” Applejack trotted over to a table with various filled glass containers. There was one filled with eyes, it had alcohol to preserve it. Applejack got closer until one of the bloodshot eyes swerved over to meet her eye. She let out a sudden shout.
"Applejack calm down, the only ponies who go in here are ponies I don’t like, I’m not going to kill you or anything like that." Twilight said, continuing to look for the cause of the crash.
"A-alright..." Applejack said nervously. They found a shattered glass jar on the ground. There were no contents with in the jar, before or after it was broken.
"It was just a jar shattering?" Rainbow Dash said with a disappointed tone. “I thought it was gonna be a ghost or something!”
“Hey I found something!” Pinkie Pie said, leading the other 5 to a sheet on a table. Something was under it, and something came out of it. More blood, but more fresh. It was recent, and when Rainbow uncovered what was beneath the sheet, she revealed a truly, horrifying sight. What it uncovered was a mangled, and completely mutilated corpse of Derpy. Nopony noticed that Derpy had been taken, but they suspected she wouldn’t be the first.
"TWILIGHT IS INSANE!" Pinkie shouted, running towards the back of the laboratory.
"Pinkie come back!" Rainbow Dash yelled, flying after her.
"Wait Dash!" Twilight said to the two runaways. She was left Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack. Twilight turned to face the others. “Do you think I’m insane?” She asked, with a saddened tone.
“Nope, just a little on the funny side.” Applejack said, patting Twi on the back.
"I certainly don’t," Rarity replied. “something else is doing this.”
"Nor do I." Fluttershy said.
"Where's Pinkie?" Twilight said.
"I was trying to get her to come back but she kept refusing...” Rainbow Dash said, there was one tear coming from her eye, she quickly wiped it away and continued to tell her story. “there was a splash of blood, the last thing I saw...was..." Dashie continued to stutter as more tears welled up in her eyes.
“Pinkie...dead...cold...motionless...on the floor.”
"This is becoming to much!” Rarity exclaimed. “We MUST find a way out of the horrid place!”
"PINKIE!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

In hopes that they would find their dying friend, the remaining mares trotted to the back room of the laboratory.
"I'll light my horn." Twilight said, shining light in the room. What they saw made them regret Twilight ever lit her horn. There was cart full of bloody knives, with a bloody chainsaw. There was blood everywhere, flowing into a drainage pipe.
"What the buck is this?" Rainbow Dash asked nervously.
"Er... Research?" Twilight said sheepishly with a faked smile on her face.
"You have a factory used to turn forgotten pegasi children into rainbows," Twilight said. “I’d say you have no room to speak.” Twilight stopped for a moment. “Aren’t you supposed to be there forever, like live there?”
“VIP permissions Twi.” Rainbow said proudly.
“Should we be referencing this?” Twilight asked.
“Why did the editor even put this in here?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Because I felt like it.” I said.
“What was that?” Dash asked.
"Girls settle down!" Rarity said. “You’re driving yourselves mad...and me too...”
"Help me!" Fluttershy squeaked before she was dragged into the darkness.
"Fluttershy?" Rarity said. She looked around, when she looked down she shouted, “Girls...Shy is gone!"
"Where did she go?" Applejack asked. She stepped in the blood.
“Ehh...” Applejack said. “it’s so hard to get blood of mah dang coat!” Applejack looked at the others. They stared back oddly. “Not that ah would know...” She added.
"We need to get out." Twilight said. “We need to get out now.”
"Your finally awake..."
“Why are you crying...my little pony? Did the magic of friendship not save you or your friends today?” Fluttershy recognized this voice.
"Discord..." Fluttershy said.
"Yes! I don't kill you instantly because I wanted to have a little 'fun' with you" Discord said, he hovered his head over her with an evil grin on his face.
"How did you get out?!” Fluttershy asked panically.
"Remember that book your egghead friend opened?” Discord said. He started laughing. “Well that was the book that I hid before I was turned to stone the second time. It was made to release a spell to turn me evil if I was reformed, and to trap you all in here so I could get my revenge!” He laughed more as he walked closer to Fluttershy.
"You can’t get away with this Discord!" Fluttershy shouted.
“Watch me...” Discord said. He didn’t have anything gag to put in her mouth to make her shut up, so he decided to do it the easy way. He picked up a smaller knife and cut out her tongue. Shy let out a moan of pain as the blood ran down her throat.
"My little pony..." Discord said laughing, “you must learn when to keep quiet!”
"Darling I hate to say it..." Rarity said. “but we are eventually going to die from either starvation, or whatever that sick maniac is planning for us.” They looked at each other, when suddenly the door to the basement flew open and Fluttershy's mangled corpse was thrown in and the door closed
"Fluttershy!" The mares screamed
"Discord" they both said
"Yes my little ponies you finally figured it out!" "Congratulations" and confetti fell from the ceiling
"You won't get away with this"
"Haha that was exactly what your friends said"
