Love Conquers All

Rainbow was just finishing her cloud duties until a sudden memory came up. Oh yeah!  She thought. Me and Twi’s 6:00 ‘appointment’!  She looked over to the horizon, instantly telling her she was 10 minutes late. Great! Late to our second-

“What are you doing?” Starprancer asked, wondering why Rainbow dash was just floating there with a weird look on her face.

“O-oh, absolutely nothing!” Rainbow replied nervously.

Rainbow’s mind was ecstatic; thinking about what Starprancer might ask next.

“Okay then, it just kind of looked like you were deep in thought.”  Starprancer said, almost knowing that she was right.

Rainbow Dash just turned around and continued on the last few clouds she had to work on. Why am i acting so nervous? She questioned herself. I could of just easily told her that I was just thinking about cloud duties. She told herself.

Rainbow finished her last cloud, and set off for Twilight’s house. Ugh I'm turning into an egghead! She thought.

Through out her whole flight, she thought about how uncool it'd be known as an egghead. Nah, reading is kinda a cool, right? She questioned herself.

As soon as she reached Twilights house, she gave her door a good knock. She took a good look at the door, realizing the big candle on the door. Huh, I swear this candle isn't always on this door. She thought

"Oh hey Rainbow, glad you could make it!" Twilight said, full of enthusiasm.

“Shhh! They might hear you!” Rainbow warned.

Twilight just giggled.

“First of all, who's they? Second of all, most people know your a, as you call it, 'egghead'."

"W-well...I...you...mph..." She tried to say, then sighing in defeat.

Twilight giggled. "How about you just come on in?" Twilight welcomed.

As Rainbow entered she saw there was already a pile of books on the couch. She laughed under her breath as she realized that Twilight must have been planning this all day.

“You don’t get many guests do you?" Rainbow asked.

“Not really, you’re the only one!” Twilight admitted, blood rushing to her face.

“So what’s on the menu?” Rainbow asked.

“Well, yesterday I went to Canterlot to visit the princess, and assumed that I'd would be with her for a couple of hours," Twilight started to explain, "but I ended up only being there for about 30 minutes, so I decided to go up to a Daring Do fanfic store, and pick up this." Twilight said, showing Rainbow the one-page fanfic.

“What is it?" Rainbow asked.

“Daring Do: What is love?" Twilight responded.

“Uh, come again?" Rainbow asked

"Oh I knew you wouldn't like it, guess I'll just-" Twilight started to say.

“Oh no no no, we can try to read it, I mean I'm not a romance kind of mare, but its worth a try." Rainbow said with a lets-go-for-it smile..

"Really?" Twilight asked, thinking she wasn't hearing straight.

“Yeah, really" Rainbow assured.

“Okay lets get started!" Twilight said with excitement, pumping her hoof in the air.

Then both walked up to the couch, and Twilight began to read.

Chapter One: Strange feelings?

Daring Do was coming home for one of her ‘normal’ adventures, taking her hat off, waling to her couch to take a nap, and then there was a sudden knock at the door.

“Who is it?” Daring asked.

“Its me!” Someone responded.

“Oh Herpy come on in!” Daring said, voice gleeful.

“Have a good adventure today?” Herpy asked.

“Yea it sure was ‘good’ alright!” Daring said, faking a bit of enthusiasm.

“I bet it was, I could hear an explosion all the way from Canterlot!” Herpy said, chuckling, “that’s why I came to check on you!”

“T-thanks?” Daring said, a bit of a blush forming.

Herpy just started to chuckle, which soon sent them both into a full on laughter.

“Hhey… D-daring… Can I ask you something?” Herpy asked.

After the laughter died down, and Daring got her cool back, she responded.

“Yeah?” Daring asked.

“I was just wonder if… uh if…” He started to say, “oh never mind it was just silly anyway…”

“No its ok, don’t hide your feelings to me, what is it?” Daring asked.

“I-I was just wondering, would you like to be me special somebody?” He asked.

“YEEEESSSS!” Daring shouted over her lungs, completely filled with glee.

“That was sure interesting" Twilight said, with a what-dabuq-I-just-read face.

"Yeah, I'd expect their first 'wanna go on a date' would last long than just 'wanna?' and 'sure' then 'THE END'." Rainbow said, sending the 'laugh virus' over both of them
