Aboden awoke, but not to the smell of his damp dirty cell of a room. It was fresh air, something that wasn't a common occurrence.
"Where in the name of Tzeentch am I..." Aboden Survey'd his surroundings pondering on his location.
"This can't be where the data coordinates where aiming for." As Aboden reached for his bolt pistol finding nothing, he cursed at this only calming himself when he realized his sword was still in his possession. "Great...now to find out where I am..." As he rose off the ground feeling slightly fazed as he began to trod down into the dark forest, unaware of what watched him from the shadows.
"Intruder in hangar seven, I repeat, intruder in hangar seven!" The alarm of the ship blared wildly as space marines of the ultramarines chapter burst into the chaos ship and began battling with World Eaters, Black Legion, and Thousand sons space marines. "Push forward brother for the Emper---AUUGHH!" The space marine sargent spoke his last words and an enemy marine got his chain axe stuck in his neck. "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"
Aboden, not far from the carnage, stared in slight disgust as he filled another bolter clip into a group of marines taking cover to reload "To think, this is our fate for warning the emperor about the Horus Heresy." A black legion marine standing close by him began laughing at Aboden before letting his heavy bolter tear into oncoming marines before taking cover at the opposite end of the corridor. "Speaking of such things will get you killed, ignore the past and stick with the future! That's how Tzeentch works right?"
Aboden, grunting as he released more of his bolter rounds fly at oncoming marines, glanced at the marine before realizing he was out of rounds. "Damn it...do you have any rounds?" The other marine shook his head as he was nearly out himself. "We need to find the supply room or we will die here" Aboden nodded in agreement and the rushed off the other marine laying down suppressive fire with what little ammo he had left.
Aboden releasing a shadow bolt into an oncoming ultramarine before rushing down the corridor, realized something was wrong. "They stopped coming, somethings not right..." The other marine who was already opening the door to the supply room realized this. "Does this mean they have stopped their assault?" Aboden shook his head, knowing the space marines hatred for them, this wasn't over. "No...not unless their frigates have been destroy'd, which is unlikely, they must be preparing something." As they walked into the supply room and taking as much ammunition as they could carry, they slowly moved through their ship.
"There are no sign of the ultramarines, Is anyone on board?" All that was returned was static as Aboden attempted to speak into his com-link. "We must be the only ones on board, that should be impossible!" The Black Legion marine sighed as they walked through the empty corridors until finding the hangar bay, all the fighters had been either taken or destroy'd.
"Just our luck...what do you supposed we do now." Aboden, using his arcane powers, scoured sections of the ship. The bridge was full of the remaining marines on board which relieved Aboden. "They are in the bridge, we should head there. What is your name?" The marine stuck in thought found a name not used for years. "I am Tar Saro, I used to be a white scar before the heresy." Aboden nodded and issued for him to follow. "I am Aboden, as you know I am a sorcerer of the Thousand sons." Tar Saro nodded as they moved from different corridors.
"Did you ever think that this was the wrong path Tar Saro, that every choice made so far is wrong." Tar Saro sighed trudging through corridors and listening for survivors. "Like I said, saying those things will get a man killed." Aboden sighed opening the door to the bridge, only to find a group of librarians waiting for them. "BURN THE HERATICS!" As the librarians cast their spell on Aboden he created a shield of psychic energy to defend him.
