Ponies Lost Tapes: Ponygeist
The camera flickers on showing a very scared Berry Punch who is locked in a room in a old abandoned house
“Help.” She whispers, “I’m trapped in 100 Berkeley Square, and there's something else in here, and it wants me dead.”
“I know you're in here somewhere!” A voice calls out, “There’s no point in hiding I’ll find you.”
“Why am I trapped here? I haven’t done anything wrong.” Berry says, “I mean I do drink a lot, but I don’t desire to die in here”
“You can’t keep hiding, I’ll find you!” The same voice from earlier yells, “It won’t be long before I do anyway.”
“I don’t know if anypony will find this, but if somepony does, that means you're in the house as well, and that also means it knows you're here. But you still might be able to get out before it- AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She screams as she gets dragged into a darker part of the room.
“Found you. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

Ponygeist
A camera turns on and is in a small filly’s room. And then the small filly whose room this belongs to comes into view. She was a unicorn with a yellow mane, purple fur and yellow eyes.
“Hello there everypony.” She says, “So apparently there is this super creepy house in town that is supposedly haunted. So me and a few others are going to go out and investigate this place, and see if it really is as haunted as they say it is.”
In winter 2011 Dinky Hooves and a couple of her friends went out to search for ghosts in a supposedly haunted house after school. What they got was not what they had anticipated.
These are their tapes.
The camera then gets taken out of a saddle bag, by Dinky no less. She runs up to a few fillies who are over at the playground waiting for her. “Hey guys!” Dinky calls to them.
“Hi Dinky.” Applebloom greets. “Are we going to go do it now?”
“Yep.”
“Oh man, that was today?” Sweetie Belle says, “Well, I have to go... Away now.”
“And you say I’m a chicken.” Scootaloo replies
“Yeah but…… You're stupid.”
“Just because I got a D in vocabulary and you got a A+ doesn't mean I’m stupid.”
“Calm down you two.” Apple Bloom adds, “This is another chance for all of us to get our cutie marks, and Sweetie Belle, we all know that you know todays the day we are going to that house. So mare up and get going to the house.”
“Argh! Fine I’ll go.” Sweetie Belle gives in.
“Good, now Scootaloo what can you tell us about this house?”
“Well from what I heard, the house has a dark past and it all started when a pegasus moved into the house.” Scootaloo stops.
“Go on.”
“Well, thats all Twilight would tell me she was too busy trying to find out where Berry Punch was. She also said the house is called ‘The Chainsaw Murder House’”
“Um, I got a question.” Pipsqueak begins “Does that mean that there murders in the house that had chainsaws or were chainsaws murdered in that house?”
“First off, what kind of question is that? And second, when did you get here?” Scootaloo says.
“I’m coming with you remember? I was the one who told you about that place?”
“Oh, right I guess I forgot you were coming. Anyway it’s about time the four of us-”
“Five!” Dinky yells.
“Five of us, should get going, so hop on.”
Scootaloo gets on her scooter and the four other get on the wagon that is attached to it, and they all ride off. Dinky then shuts off her camera.
“There it is.” Dinky gets out her camera and points it at a blurry image. “Hold on the image is blurry.” She fiddles around with the camera a bit until she got it clear. And the camera was now pointing to her face. “Ok I think I got it.”
She points the camera at an old house, which has three stories to it and a top window. The roof is all torn apart, and the windows are all crooked. It has a balcony on the middle floor and two windows beside it. The window flaps smash against the house whenever the wind would blow hard. Which was quite often. But the worst part is the porch. It had a crooked fence, a door that was barely staying on its hinges, and the floor was covered in moss. The wood has chipped off and a smashed in window. Standing around the house was an old fashioned fence with a gate in the front of it. The top of the gate had the letters R.W.
“... Wow that place looks horrible.” Applebloom says.
“You said it.” Pipsqueak agrees.
“It could be worse.” Sweetie Belle shrugs.
“How? This place looks like it’s going to fall any second now.” Scootaloo questions.
“Well, let’s just find a way in.” Dinky switches the subject.
As the filles walk up to the house the camera picks up a voice of a stallion saying “Don’t go in” but none of them hear the voice.
“Do you see a way into this place?” Scootaloo asks.
“Well this gate looks rusty so if we hit it hard enough it will fall down.” Dinky answers.
“Ok on three we all hit the gate. One. Two. Three-” Sweetie Belle stops them.
“You do know it is unlocked right?”
They all look at one another, then Applebloom hits Pipsqueak in the head, “What did I tell ya?!” She hits him again. “The gate is unlocked!” She hits him one last time.
“I didn’t even agree to it!” Pipsqueak shields himself.
The gate made loud creaks as Sweetie Belle swings it open.
“Well.” Dinky looks to the house, “You guys wanna go first? No? OK.”
They all walk through the gate, slowly.
Dinky stops and looks at the path in front of them. Leaves has fallen onto it, and it definitely looks like it was not walked upon in ages. A few dead trees were scattered around the yard along with the dead grass made the house look scarier than it does on it’s own.
They then got to the steps. Reluctantly, Dinky puts a hoof onto the first one. It squeaks when she puts enough pressure to it. She walks up the next two before finally reaching the top of the porch. She looks at the double doors that were attached to the house, and takes a big gulp.
The others had gotten onto the porch by now. “Do you think the door is unlocked?” Apple Bloom asks.
Dinky shrugs, “Well, lets find out.” She took her hoof onto the old fashioned door knob and turned it.
As the door opens with a creak, the children get a good look into the house. It was practically destroyed.
“Whoa this place is really messed up!” Scootaloo says.
“Well I don’t think anypony has lived here for years.” Apple Bloom adds.
At this point the camera picks up the same voice from outside saying “Run, get out now before he finds out that you’re here!” but like last time none of them hear it.
“Well let’s go look around.” Dinky says.
The filles start to look around the house and find that besides a few holes, the house is in good shape.
“This is really creepy, I think we should go.” Sweetie Belle asks.
“Oh come on! We just got here.” Scootaloo replies, “Hey, why is this door shut?”
“Well, in a house like this, the doors should be shut.”
“Yes. But haven’t you noticed that all the other doors in this house are open? Why is this one shut?”
“I don’t know but it looks like it goes down to the basement. Look it’s getting late and my sister well be mad if I don’t come home soon, so can we just go?”
“Oh alright.”
As they start to walk back to the front door the camera picks up the same voice from last time saying “Too late…..He knows.” And like the last few times not one of them hears it but soon after they get to the front door.
“Hey guys.” Dinky says.
“What?” Apple Bloom asks.
“Did any of you shut the door?”
“No.” They all reply.
“Then why is it shut?”
They all start to get worried. And stare in silence for a few seconds until Pipsqueak broke the silence, “Maybe it was the wind?”
“Did you hear it close?” Dinky asks.
They all shook their heads.
“We probably would have heard it then.” Dinky says.
She walks to the door and turns the knob and pushes the door, trying to get it open. But it wouldn’t open. She tries several more times, both pushing and pulling, but nothing seems to work.
“Oh no!” She screams.
“What do we do?” Scootaloo asks.
“How should I know?” Dinky questions.
“Well, you are the one leading this Prometheus hole!”
They then start to hear something. Thumping, coming from upstairs. It sounds like... Hoofsteps.
“Do you hear that?” Applebloom asks looking around the ceiling.
They all shake their heads, yes.
“Do we go check it out?”
“I dunno.” Dinky says.
Scootaloo gets an idea, “Let’s have a vote on it.”
“Well, we can’t get out of here right now, so why not just go?” Pipsqueak butts in.
They all stand there for a while, wondering if it was a smart idea.
“Alright.” Dinky finally says.
They all walk towards the stairs at the far wall. Pictures dangled above the steps. Most of a brown pegasus pony stallion with dark grey hair and a silver unicorn mare with a blue mane. They were in several pictures that went up along with the stairs, the final picture at the top of the stairs is of the mare and stallion. However the mare was in a wedding dress and the stallion had a tuxedo on. However, the stallion’s head had been torn from the picture.
“Who are these two?” Dinky asks.
“I don’t know, but maybe they lived here.” Pipsqueak replies
“I guess but nopony has lived here in years.”
“Well their pictures are here, so they must have been here at one point.”
As the two talk a voice gets recorded by the camera saying “The monster…… Is……. Watching…. You…. Run. ” The voice has been identified as Berry Punch.
“Did any of you hear something?” Sweetie Belle asks.
“No.” They all answer.
“I guess I’m hearing things." Sweetie Belle shrugs. "Anyway, we need to find a way out of here so let go upstairs and find a key or something.”
They all walk up the stairs, carefully trying not to break through it. It has seventeen steps, all of which had squeaked when put pressure on.
They finally got up them. And were greeted by two hallways on each side of them. Both of them had four doors. Two on one side and two on the other. The fillies and colt looked at both sides, pondering over which one to go through. They decided to go to the hall on their right.
They went through the first door they came across. Dinky opened it, a room scattered with old boxes, and furniture. They walked into it. Looking from side to side. They go into different directions looking for a key or something.
“Hey guys, check this out!” Sweetie Belle shouts over to them. They run up to her.
“What is it?” Applebloom asks.
“Check this out.” Sweetie Belle points to seven old pictures, looking much like the final one on the stairs. This time of a different mare and stallion. Or, stallions. But, they all had something similar to the other. All of the heads were torn off the pictures.
Thunder roared through the sky, and light shined through the open window.
“What happened here?” Pipsqueak ponders.
Suddenly, there was a high pitched dinging noise. The children turn to a wall. The wall had a piano next to it.
Lightning flashed and there was a shadow of what looked like a stallion in a top at, wearing a cloak.
“Guys.” Applebloom says.
“Yes?” Dinky asks.
“Do you wanna get out of here as much as I do?”
“Why, I believe that could be a possibility.”
They all back up towards the door to the room. One by one. Dinky accidently hit a pile of chairs and knocked a hatbox down. She turns the camera towards it for a second. She turns back towards the wall they were walking away from. Lightning strikes and that shadow they had seen earlier is now on the wall staring at them.
They all get out the door. First Dinky, then Scootaloo, then Pipsqueak, then Applebloom, then-
SLAM!
The door swung shut, closing Sweetie Belle in.
“Sweetie Belle!” They all scream and run for the door, trying to get it open. Pushing against it as hard as they can but it doesn’t work.
Finally, the door accepts their pleads to enter.
“Sweetie Belle!” Applebloom calls out for her friend.
They all look around the room, until Dinky points her camera to the top of some chairs and sees the same hatbox from earlier.
“Huh? Didn’t I knock you down?” She reaches for it until it starts to tip. Falling over the side of the chairs. Dinky screams as this happens.
The box falls to the ground and opens up. However, it was not empty, the decapitated head of her friend came out of it.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” She screams.
“What’s wrong?” Pipsqueak asks running towards her with the others. He then sees the head, “Oh my Celestia!”
Scootaloo also sees this and says, “Holy F(censored) Celestia!”
Lighting strikes again. This time, a shadow of a noose swung back and forth.
“This place is crazy!” Apple Bloom yells.
“What happened here that made all this?” Dinky asks to nopony.
“She made it all happen.” A voice says.
“What was that?!?!” Dinky yells.
“I don’t know, but let’s get out of this room!” Scootaloo replies.
The four foals run out of the room and into another room. This room looked like a bedroom the bed was still standing and looked like it was made recently if not for the thin layer of dust, there was also a table with a book nearby.
“I wonder what’s in that book?” Pipsqueak asks.
“Well there’s only one way to find out.” Dinky replies.
They walk over to the book and read the name ‘Diary of Ravens Wood’ the diary looked like a few pages were ripped out.
“It’s a diary.” Scootaloo says to nopony.
“Should we read it?” Pipsqueak asks.
“I guess so.”
The four foals open the book, and read the pages.
August 14 1954
We just moved into this house in a new town called Ponyville so far this place looks nice and I’ll be happy to live here with my new wife Hatchet Pitcher this house took all the money we had but it looks like it was money well spent.
August 19 1954
I was right this town is really nice, but if there was one problem I would have to say it’s Axe Pitcher (my sister in law) two days after we move here she decides to come here as well not only does she hate me, she treats Hatchet like dirt (that no way to treat a younger sister), and she think that this place is hers. But we still like it here.
August 21 1954
Axe is so annoying she is here every day and we both hate it. But yesterday was the worst, (at least to Hatchet) she came over like she always does called me idiot a few times and then started to talk to Hatchet. I left the room for a few minutes but when I came back they were arguing about something. I think it was about who their father loved more and Hatchet told Axe to “Buck off.” Then I heard something hit something and the sounds of hoof walking away and then a door closing. I walked in to see Hatchet on the the floor with a bruise on her cheek. It was obvious that Axe was the one who did it. When Axe came over today she didn’t talk to Hatchet at all and Hatchet was saying how sorry she was for saying those words. This isn’t right.
The rest of the pages were missing.
“That’s it.” Pipsqueak says.
“That can’t be it.” Scootaloo groans.
“Well, it is.” Applebloom shrugs.
The lights went out. And lightning flashes. They foals look up while there is a flash of light. The ceiling got a lot higher. Now from the newly risen ceiling there was a skeletal pony dangling side to side by a rope around his neck. The flashes of light stopped, and there was a bone chilling scream. The lights turned back on and the ceiling was back to normal.
“Who screamed?” Dinky asks.
“Not me.” The other two say.
“Well, lets just get out of here.” Dinky turns to the door to see yellow hooves dangling. She looks up to see Apple Bloom hanging from the ceiling with a rope around her neck.
They all just stood there, stunned. “NO! APPLE BLOOM!” Scootaloo yells.
“Let’s get out of here!” Pipsqueak shouts. Running and opening the door.
They all look towards the stairs, running down the flight of stairs.
They all stop. Breathing heavily. Scootaloo rests up next to a fireplace. “How do we get out of here?”
“Think.” Dinky starts, “I know! Let’s smash something against the door hard enough!”
“I doubt we would be able to, even if we worked together on it.” Pipsqueak interferes with the plan.
“Why don’t we just try-” Dinky was cut off by a door swinging open.
They all look towards the door. It was the door that had been locked earlier. They all walk towards it. They all look into it. The basement
“What do you think is in there?” Scootaloo asks.
“I don’t know, but we got nowhere else to go.” Dinky replies.
The last of the friend slowly walk into the basement and see it looks like a regular basement the only things that were there was a table and some pages.
“Hey, maybe those are part of the diary!” Scootaloo exclaims.
“Well, let’s go look at them.” Dinky answers.
They look at the pages and see that the pages are from the diary and read them.
October 15 1952
It has been a long time since I’ve written anything in this diary, but I feel it’s time I do as this is the fifth day in a row that Axe hasn’t shown up, and I couldn’t be happier. But at the same time something is wrong. Allow me to start from the beginning it was October 9 and Axe had just shown up to our house and I didn’t want to be with her so she went to talk with Hatchet upstairs and I left the house for about an hour before I went back. I thought Axe would still be in the house but when I got back she was gone and Hatchet was acting a little off when I asked her where Axe was. She just said that she was “Gone” and Axe hasn’t come back to the house for a few days. After Hatchet was acting like something had happened, but she has never told me what.
November 17 1952
This is madness. I didn’t do anything. Let me tell you what has been going on in this town since my last update. Two days after it, Hatchet started acting like herself again, but at the same time, she was different. What I mean is she is like her old self, but when she smiles, it doesn’t look anything like her old one. Now if you weren’t me you wouldn’t see it but the smile she has now it looks like there something mad or evil about it. And a day after that is when a pony went missing. I do not know who it was or where he was last seen, but I do know that he was only the beginning of many ponies that would go missing (as of right now there are 13 missing ponies). Just today the royal guards came over to our house and ask me some questions and then told me I’m the prime suspect and I’m not the killer.
December 18 1952
My name is Hatchet Pitcher and I am writing this so that anypony who reads this can know what happened. It was October 15 and my sister Axe had just came over. Raven didn’t want to talk with her and left the house. When he did, Axe came upstairs to talk with me and we soon got into a fight because she was saying that my dad loved her more then me. I was so mad I pushed her, but I didn’t mean for her to fall down the stairs. I looked down at her and she wasn’t moving. I knew she was dead so I hid her in the basement and when Raven came home I acted like everything was ok, but I think he knew something was wrong. But when I thought about what I’ve done, I felt good. She was alway picking on me and I wanted to feel that way again so I started taking ponies and killing them. I like to chop of their heads.
It was all fun and games until the guards came and they thought Raven was the one behind it all. I tried to make it look like he was innocent but they took him and he was found guilty. Last week, he was hung. Now you're wondering why I’m writing this, it’s because Raven has come back. I hear him. He knows what I’ve done and he is mad. He keeps saying, “Everypony thinks I’m a monster, so why not become what they think I am?!” I know that when I finish writing this he’ll kill me so why put it off anymore?
Good Bye.
As the foals finish reading the last part, they see a headline of a newspaper that reads,“Hatchet Pitcher found burned in fireplace”
“So that’s what happened?” Scootaloo asks.
“I guess so.” Dinky replies, “What do you think Pip-’” She stops and looks around for Pipsqueak but can’t find him.
“Where did he go?” Dinky asks
“I don’t know.” Scootaloo answers, “Hey, there’s a door over there maybe he’s over there.”
They go over to the door and open it only to scream in horror.
Bodies of many ponies line the wall but only two can be recognized the first one looks like her neck has been shaped and has been identified as Berry Punch and the second one’s chest has been torn open and his organs are scattered everywhere this one is clearly Pipsqueak, and the camera picks up many ponies screaming out “HELP!!!”
The door was quickly closed as Scootaloo turned to Dinky, “RUN!”
They both take off, heading for the stairs of the basement. Climbing up, Dinky trips a bit, but keeps running.
“Hurry!” They get out of the basement and are now in the hallway of the house.
“Scootaloo! I just remembered a way out!” Dinky says.
“Spit it out girl!” Scootaloo shouts.
“A broken window! Follow me!” Dinky starts running pointing the camera to their destination.
Scootaloo then trips over something, “Oof!” She struggles to get back on her hooves, “Ugh! I think I- AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!” She then gets dragged towards the fireplace.
She gets thrown into it.
“HELP ME-” The flaps to it close and then a fire starts to light. Burning her.
Dinky tries to open the flaps but it doesn’t work. “I’m sorry Scootaloo! I’m sorry!” She starts running for the broken window, leaving her friend to burn to death.
She gets to it and climbs out.
“Urgh!” She points the camera, and looks back at the inside of the house one last time, then turns around only to see a blue ghostly unicorn in a wedding dress. “Who are you?”
“Nevermore.” It says quietly.
“What-” Dinky gets pushed back by an unseeable force and hits a sharp piece of shattered glass on the window. It slices through her side, as both her and the camera go through the window. The camera lands on it’s side, pointing at her on the ground, and a growing pool of blood.
Despite the video showing the camera landing inside the house it was found outside the gate, the bodies of Sweetie Belle, Pipsqueak, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Dinky have never been found and they are still missing, after seeing the film Twilight and her five friends went to investigate the house, they have never been seen again.
Leaving us all to wonder?
Do they live among us?
