My Little Amnesia : Cadance

As Cadance put herself in a cell she placed a phonograph in the cell with her. On it was a wax cylinder with a message for herself. Then she took a drink of the potion she brought with her. All of a sudden she blacked out as the potion’s effects took hold. As she slept three cell doors creaked open releasing her ex-lovers as they went to different parts of the dungeon to look for her.

There were also three stallions trapped in the dungeon with her, a doctor, a policeman, and a priest. They were going to be used as a test to see if she would save them or kill them. One the doctor was in the cells with her, another the priest was in a room locked in a boarded up room in the library, and the last the policeman was chained to a wall in a flooded dungeon cell on the upper floor.

Cadance was still sleeping soundly as one of the suitors walked through the exit of the door near the cells. Each of the suitor had a different reason to find her. The unicorn stallion Alois wanted to make her his for all of eternity. The earth stallion Basile wanted to kill her as revenge for blinding him. Finally the pegasi stallion Malo wanted to devour her as his next meal.

After a while the three captives woke up and began to wonder where they were. The doctor saw he was locked in a cell and he saw a horrible monster walk by several times. The priest found himself in a locked library room with nothing but his clothes and a few books. And the policeman awoke to find out he was chained to a wall and had a ball gag on in a locked cell in a partially flooded room.

Each of the three suitors decided to wait in three areas of the dungeon Cadance had made. Alois chose to stay in the area surrounding the cells where they were kept in case she was hidden somewhere in the cells. Basile chose to stay in the Library back hall way that lead to the basement and hunt for her there. Finally Malo decided to stay in the dungeon are where he could find her easily in the flooded areas.

Each of the suitors have a reason to kill or in Malo’s case eat her. Alois’s reason for wanting to kill her is, because of his self-destructive fixation on Cadance. He would hurt himself to prove his love for her. Another reason was he jealous of the other two on how Cadance loved them more then him. This caused him to want to kill her so he could have her all to himself.

Basile’s reason for wanting to kill Cadance was because he wanted to get revenge on her for blinding him. He was a carpenter before he fell in love with her. Cadance was abused by him so her and the other two suitors decided to get even with him. When Basile awoke he was strapped to a table. Cadance stuck a scalding hot metal rod in each of his eyes as well as the other two suitors.

Malo’s reason to kill her is just so he can eat her. Before he fell in love with Cadance he was an accomplished violin virtuoso. He had a poor performance due to having his love in the audience and this caused him to be heckled and laughed at by the crowd. With his career gone he started to slowly lose his sanity. He is now insane to the point he now practices cannibalism.

Each of them still have some reason for wanting her and have a role in the three. Alois is the infatuated one who wants her all to himself. Basile is the anger and vengeful one on them due to his desire for revenge on her. Malo is the cheerful and insane one as he just want to eat her alive so he can have her as his next meal.

Cadance soon awoke as the potion’s effects wore off. She couldn’t remember why she was here or who put her here. Cadance saw a wax cylinder in the corner of her cell and a phonograph. She put the cylinder in the phonograph and wound it up to hear what the cylinder was record on it.

A voice said, “Welcome to my cabinet of pretrebutation. I have put you here to test my theory of the Equestrian psyche, specifically yours. I shall chaperone you through my cabinet and you will have to make choices as you venture through the cabinet. Will you save them or will you kill them? There are three captives, Doctor Whooves, Father Caramel, and finally Officer Thunderlane. All of them are located in a spot throughout the cabinet’s dungeon. All of them can be saved, but do you have the right judgement to save or leave them to die. Remember that there is always a way to save everyone.”

Cadance thought to herself why someone would leave her here in a cell when she did nothing to them. She saw a note near the cell door. In it was a key and a journal entry.

The note said, “Dear self, if you are reading this then you just woke up. You are the one who left yourself here in the cell with the phonograph. You will face three of you past lovers and do not let them get near you. Each of them will try to kill you if they get the chance.”

Cadance grabbed the key and put it in the lock of her cell door and turned it. She saw that several of the other cells were opened and one of them was till shut. She decided to have a look around before she would make a decision on what to do. She took a moment to clear her mind and looked around hoping to find something to give her clues on what to do.
