Forgotten Harmony

A thousand years have passed since Discord transformed Equestria into his chaotic playground. Celestia and Luna have been turned into puppets, however Twilight had successfully secluded in the princesses old castle in Everfree Forest. To her surprise she wasn't alone for young unicorn was also living within the old dilapidated building. "Who are you and why are you here?" asked Twilight as she studied his appearance. His body way blue with a grayish tint painted over it, his mane was short and violet which added to his nerdy appearance. A thunder struck book rested on his flank and his hoofs were a light green color, but only looked like a stain with his fur covering over it. "M-my name is Electro Blitz," answered the now spooked pony, "I'm here to seek safety from all of the chaos that ravages the world." Twilight was unsure if this pony was telling the truth or not, but instead just accepted the idea of having company after years of loneliness.

It has been three months now since Twilight and Electro had met and they have been preparing to face Discord, but this task can not be achieved on their own. Electro did not see this yet though for he spent his days studying all the books of magic in the castle's library while Twilight had been teaching him her lessons on friendship. Today, however, was a different day for Electro had finished learning all of twilight's lessons of friendship and now he believes he is ready to face the evil draconequus. Twilight was reorganizing the books in the library as a hole in the ceiling shined the sky's twilight lighting that reflected off of her immortal beauty. "I think I'm finally ready to defeat Discord." stated Electro as he approached the alicorn princess. "No," answered Twilight bluntly, "you're just not ready to face Discord yet." "Then when will I be ready to face him? I've learned all of the spells in these books and you taught me all I needed to know about friendship." mentioned a now annoyed Electro Blitz. "Yes, yes I know, but Discord can only be defeated by the elements of harmony and the major problem with that is I'm the only bearer of the elements left." stated Twilight, "Besides the elements were placed back in the tree of harmony years ago." "Well what if I got new bearers of the elements." questioned Electro. Twilight looked at him now intrigued by Electro's question and started searching through the  genealogy section of the library. "Electro you're a genius! Why haven't I thought of this before!" exclaimed the exited princess. "Thanks, but uh why are you searching through the genealogy section for?" questioned a flattered but confused Electro."Well," begun Twilight, "I have a theory that the next bearers of the elements of harmony could be my old friends recent descendants." "But, what if they aren't though?" stated the unconvinced pony, "What if you're wrong, what if these descendants aren't even alive any more." "Well then we'll just have to wait and see." stated Twilight with a smug look painted on her face. "Well it's settled then we'll go searching for your friends' descendants, retrieve the elements of harmony, and stop Discord's rain once and for all." confirmed Electro. "Alas, I cannot go with you Electro." corrected Twilight, "Discord would catch on to our plan if he saw me roaming around Equestria. You have enough spells to fend on your own out there and Discord won't be suspecting a simple pony like you to rally the elements of harmony together to end his rain." Now under the pressure of having to defend himself, Electro began gathering all the supplies he needed, the former mane five's genealogies, a map of Equestria, and simple camping supplies. He stood at the entrance to the castle, ready to go headstrong into any dangers he may face on his journey and to finally end Discord's tyrannic hold on Equestria.
