World of War Games (Tanks!)
What!?
Previous ChapterLuna woke up, but not naturally, one of the guards shook her awake.
"Princess Luna, please wake up! Princess Celestia wishes to see you, it's important!"
Luna awoke with a fright and by doing so punched the guard straight in the face.
Both guard and moon goddess didn't move, and after a few seconds the guard fell to the floor like liquid.
He was out cold.
Luna got out of bed and inspected he guard, he wasn't bleeding, but he'll feel it when he wakes up. She picked him up and placed him on the bed, even tucked him in. When she looked up from the guard in her bed, she saw a strange object leaning in the corner.
'I've never seen this thing before, and I would have known if and where I acquired it.'
Luna had questions for her sister, like what this object was, why hide a magic spell making book, and why the book doesn't have restrictions in the event somepony makes a destructive spell.
She picked up he object with a small grunt, for it was heavier than it looked, and she still had to wait a while for her magic to replenish, making this job twice as hard.
Carrying it to the throne room, she pushed the door open with her rump, dragging it with her hooves. As the moon sister and the giant pointy object entered the room, Luna stopped half way to sit down and rest, wiping the sweat away.
Her room was very far from the throne.
Panting due to the heavy lifting, she called out,"Sister, are you here?"
The castle was a lot bigger since the last time she was here (about 5 years*), for every room was expanded and refurbished to look spacious and lovely. The throne room though, was by far the greatest part of the castle, 50 or so columns on each side of the throne room, ribbons of the sun on one side and ribbons of the moon on the other. In between each column was a window with a story telling the sisters' story, from their parents, to the Elements, to the present of discord being sealed in stone. The room was bright and a long red carpet with gold trim was showing the way to two extravagant thrones, both designed to tell the life stories of the princesses.
If you asked Luna, it was a bit much.
She missed the old castle, it was closer to the working ponies. Not these stuck up snobs, that call themselves Nobles.
"Tia, are you here? If you are, I can't see you, the room is too big!" She tried to look to see if Celestia was at the throne, but because of it's massive size, it made it impossible.(It scares the new guards, when they can't see the princesses.)
"Luna, is that you? I can't hear you clearly! Speak up!" Replied a dim voice.
"What? I can't hear you!" She yelled back.
"What? I can't hear you!" the voiced mirrored.
Luna groaned with frustration, she decided that it was completely bad idea to talk to her sister from a room the size of two and a half hoofball fields.
"Hold on Sister, I'm coming to you!" She yelled over.
"...Okay!" the voiced replied clearly.
Luna huffed as she dragged the mystery object across the floor, scratching the hospital white marble flooring, a few time the scratching would emit a painful shriek, hurting her ears, and she bet her sisters. A quarter left to go Luna stopped to realize something.
"Wait a minute, you could hear me!"
No reply came until,"W-what?"
being a quarter left she could see her sister snickering at her expense.
*Grrr* "Sister, why have you never told me of a spell making book?" Luna asked, finally arriving to her throne seting the pointed metal object next to her throne while she threw her self to the cushions.
"Luna, what is that thi-"
Luna held up her hoof and ordered a servant for two gallons of Ponyade. The servant came back with cucumber flavored Ponyade.
"No not cucumber! Who even drinks this? You know what, never mind." Luna grumbled to herself.
"Sister?" Celestia asked, wondering what the object in between the goddesses thrones is.
"What?!" Luna replied back with annoyance.
Celestia shrunk back,"I-I just wanted to know what that object is. Where did you find it?"
Luna grumbling,"Frankly sister, I thought you knew. As for where I found it, I come to the conclusion that it was summoned when I made that spell."
She mumbled angrily,"And it's one sick joke of a friend. I mean really, an inanimate object?"
"You made a spell?" Celestia asked.
"About that how come you had it hidden?" Luna returned with her own question.
Before the sun goddess could answer, a royal guard in gold and diamond armor came running through the halls. Seeing how he had no time to run to them, he teleported in front of them.
"Princesses some metal beasts are on the outside of the North walls as well as the South! Other reports say more are appearing around Ponyville, The Crystal Empire, Griffonia, Coltifornia, and Detrot! What should we do?" The guard had a slight panic in his voice.
Luna still tired rolled her eyes and rolled up into a ball for a quick rest, both Sun Princess and Guard stared.
Luna reopened her eyes with great annoyance, "What are you wait for invitations to the Gala,General Diamond Shield? Go assemble the guard and Scramble the Pegasi!"
The Diamond Shield Salute quickly and bolted for the doors, completely forgetting about the teleportation spell.
"Sister are you okay?" Celestia asked with concern.
"I'm fine, just go calm down the residents. I'm gonna rest here, remind me to move my room closer the throne room."
"If you say so sister, but you'll still have to tell me more about that object next to you." Celestia pointed at the object, she then powered her horn and teleported to Canterlot Square to make sure no 'Nobles' were freaking out.
Luna was by herself again, the guards ran out seconds after Celestia. Luna looking at the object with thought, she sighed, "If only I new Sister."
