Morning Shade and Lucidity Wishes, two exceptional students from Princess Luna's Academy For Gifted Alicorns, were more than proud of their abilities. However, they never would've thought in a million years that because of their qualities, they'd be chosen by Princesses Celestia, Luna, and Cadance to rule Ponyville in place of Princess Twilight. As said alicorn princess was fatally injured during a recent battle with Queen Chrysalis and her newly introduced daughter, Princess Imago, Ponyville must have a new monarch; it just so happens that these two Academy alumni are right for the job. Or are they?
