Chapters Hello i'm Doodle art and i'm a pony and this is the story of how i became Greg Heffley's marefriend it was a normal day in Canterlot and i was walking through the streets helping everybody i could find and i was especially happy today because i had plane tickets to Manehatten to see Hinny of the Hills 2 the special edition of it.Later that day i hopped on the plane
"everybody buckle up!" the pilot yelled
i clicked my seat belt and got settled in. I was watching Hinny of the Hills 1 to catch up.An hour later the plane had crashed! i was the only that had survived, but i was cut badly on my back left hoof i healed it with my magic and i began to fly around (yes i'm an alicorn) anyway i was flying and admiring the scenery nothing looked the same i didn't even think i was in equestria anymore
the houses were different the roads were black with yellow lines right through the middle of them i didn't know what the place was called but i knew it was Hearth's Warming Eve it was snowing and the ponds had froze over and i was cold i found a house that looked rather obnoxious,there were three people inside it,a tall one,a medium one,and a tiny one,they all walked on their back hooves
i noticed their garage door was open i ran towards it "h-h-h-hello?" i shivered i was very cold i hid in a corner and waited.I had fallen asleep but i heard the door slam and a groan "ugh! why do i have to go to school!?" a voice said, i peered over thr car flying to the top cautiously i hit it with my hoof a loud thud burst into the quiet air the boy turned around his face in shock "w-w-who are y-y-you?" he shivered with fear and coldness "a-a-and what are y-y-you?" he shivered again "well i'm a pony-an alicorn-and my name is Doodle Art and i'm lost" i said shyly and blushing "you look cold" he said walking closer with his hand held out i thought he might have food but i calmly asked "what are yo doing with your hand?" i asked slowly shuffling back "oh i forgot you can talk i'm used to holding my hand out around new animals" he said blushing "oh i forgot to tell you i'm Greg,Greg Heffley" he held out his hand again and then stared at it and quickly pulled it back and put it in his pocket
.The door knob began to twist we ducked under a shelf,his mother began to walk out with Manny,witch was what they called him she started the car and drove off "shoot! i'm going to be in big trouble if my mom finds out i'm still here!' he said worried "he rushed to the door and took me upstairs and too his bedroom "stay here in this room." he said sternly pointing to the ground i'll be back later tonight.Later tonight sure enough he was back he ran up the stairs and he told me to get under the bed i did as told his mom walked in "you want dinner in your room?" she asked as if Greg was crazy he shook his head yes.His mom returned later with a plater of corn,mashed potatoes and a roll "here" she said handing Greg the plate he grabbed it and walked over to the bed and sat down he shared half of everything with me from then on i knew i could trust him
I woke up the next morning,and Greg was gone! i looked for him everywhere! under the bed,on the shelf,in his closet, and inside his lamp! i couldn't find him anywhere! he usually wakes me up and says 'bye' before he goes to school! his backpack was gone so i knew he was at school.
I looked down the hall,his mother was gone,i had the whole house to my self! i walked downstairs,turned on the radio,got on some socks and started to dance and slide up and down the hall for hours.when i got tired of that i went into Greg's room and under his bed i found a book that read 'Diary' i giggled and picked it up and read through it to find this was THE Greg Heffley,my favorite book series! this was amazing,i was in the human world! i read it over and over again,soon Greg came home with Rowley they walked up the stairs
i heard them,and quickly put his 'diary' back under his bed,they walked in "what is that?" Rowley asked "it's um,uh,er" said Greg stuttering "promise NOT to tell ANYONE?" said Greg sternly to Rowley "yes,cross my heart hope to die,stick a needle in my eye!" said Rowley excitedly "it's..it's...a pony" he said hanging his head low,Rowley's eyes lit up "a pony?!" he said happily,he ran over to me "hi! what's your name?! i'm Rowley!" he said hyperly "i'm,uh,Doodle Art" i said turning my head the oppisite way "what do you do as a living? oh! by the way where do you live?"
he said sitting down on Greg's bed "i,um,i..kinda obvious but, i draw,and sell the drawings for a couple bits and i live in Canterlot" i said looking confused and staring at Rowley "what are bits? what is Canterlot?" he said again this time more confused "obvious one again" i said rolling my eyes "bits are money where i live,here i'll show you some" i said reaching for my bit bag Greg sighed "why?!" he said face palming i threw down my bag "here,their MINE though you got it?!" i said angrilily squaring Rowley right in the eyes his eyes glitterd in the shimmer of the gold bits "these..are..amazing" Rowley said grabbing for them "MINE" i said levetating his hands away from the bits
"whoa!" he said in astonishment "how are you doing that?" he said "unicorn.horn.magic.pony" i said queerly looking Rowley in the eyes "oh my gosh! your a unicorn!" he said with a hyper look on his face.I spread my wings "and you can fly?! you must be a pega-corn!" Rowley said excitedly "alicorn.." i corected quietly "Rowley,you were here to see me,not the pony..." Greg said interupting Rowley "oh yeah!" he said guiding his attention to Greg he got up and pulled out a sleeping bag and unfurled it next to Greg's bed he hopped inside it "so,why are you here?" Rowley whispered to me after Greg went to sleep,i began to huddle more into the blanket "plane crash" i added quietly,Rowley looked confused,but then he shrugged it off and turned over and began to snore short after i quickly fell asleep memories of home in my dreams,my home,my friends, and ecspecially my mom i turned over in my sleep,but then i stopped,Greg came into my life,then everything was good,and then i fell asleep
I woke up to Greg still sleeping in bed,but Rowley was gone "thank Celestia" i thought i was about to go back to sleep when i saw Greg's alarm clock it 9:30 he was supposed to be at school! i hopped out of bed and nuzzled Greg "come on your supposed to be at school!" i said,Greg opened up one eye and glanced at the clock then at the calender,"it's Christmas break" he said sleepily and fell back asleep.The door knob began to turn slowly "oh no! Greg's mom!" i thought horrified i leaped under the bed just as the door crept open his mothers face peered in she brought her hands up to the door frame and hung up mistletoe "why is she doing that?" i whispered very quietly "there we go,now Greg has to give me a Christmas kiss" Greg's mom said proudly.She closed the door a little bit and went on to the other doors.Hours later Greg woke up and found me at the edge of the bed sleeping,he woke me up "morning,Doodle" that was the first time he had called me by my name! "um, morning Greg" i stuttered,i blushed, and we looked each other in the eyes.Greg was blushing too.Just then to door handle turned i ducked under the bed "morning Greg!" his mom said,she was pointing to her her cheek "ugh!" Greg said he walked over and gave his mom a kiss "thank you Greg," his mom said "i have to leave for work i'll be back tonight,take care of yourself" his mom said "i get to be home alone?!" Greg said happily "yes home alone" his mom said he followed her down the stairs "like for reals?! like no babysitters,no freaky secret cameras?!" said Greg excitedly "nope,none of that" his mom said grabbing up her purse.She walked out the door,Greg waited until he heard the sound of the car leaving "Doodle you can come down now!" he said "really!?" i said waiting for him to say 'yes' "yes!" he shouted,i came rushing down the stairs,i crashed into Greg and hugged him,then i began to nuzzle him on his nose.After a minute i got up and we began to watch television and share caramel popcorn,Greg directed his eyes to the right-hand corner of the room,a Christmas-y blanket lay there "wanna put up and decorate the tree?" he said looking at me,my eyes sparkled,and i blushed "um,uh,of course!" i said blushing,"well then,let's get started!" he said getting up,i got up after him he pointed to a box on top of the fridge "think you can get that?" he said "of course i can! watch me!" i said begining to levitate the box of the fridge and over to the Christmas-y blanket and sat it down,it was followed by more boxes filled with decorations there were eight boxes of decorations we both got four boxes his were filled with sparkly streamers and little ornaments i had family pictures and other things "come on Doodle!" he said rushing over to the tree he sat down next to the tree i flew over and landed and opened my boxes up so did Greg we began to decorate the tree and made it look amazing! we decorated until we each only had one decoration left, we had agreed to share them, we both reached for the one in the other's box and we touched noses i pulled mine away,and went the other way so did he we grabbed them they were both half a heart when put together "love only once,family for always" we hung them up together and looked at the tree "doesn't it look nice?" i said leaning against his shoulder,we both got up and walked up to his room,and took a nap,for saftey measures,i slept under the bed in case his mom came home to check on us,witch she did when she came home,"Greg?" she said opening up the door "how did you do the tree yourself? and that fast?" she said Greg woke up with a jolt and realized what his mom had said "i-um-i" he stuttered he hung his head "i didn't do it myself," he said "who did it with you then?" his mom asked sternly "a-a-a um,a" he said stuttering horrible "i did it with," he said bringing his head up "a pony" he said confidently but tears welled up in his eyes "there i said it!" he said throwing his hands up "Doodle,you might as well come out" he said "cause' your secret has" he said peering under the bed i slowly crawled out from under the bed showing my brightly colored face and mane "a pony?!" his mother shouted "why didn't you tell me?!" his mother shouted again "because,because, oh come on! it's a pony! it's a girly-girl thing!" he said throwing his arms down at me i slowly began to nod my head "honey,there is nothing to be ashamed of," his mom said "you know,when i was young like you,i liked this thing called 'Captain Crustation' and he was only meant for boys, but i liked him a lot!" his mom said placing a hand over his shoulder "really? did you get made fun of?" i asked "yes i did,i did a lot,because everyone knew it was only for boys,but you know what?" his mom asked us we both shook our heads "no,tell us!' we said together "i didn't care about those people!" she said proudly "now go to bed,Greg and-" his mom said "Doodle Art,but call me Doodle" i said placing my hoof on my chest "Greg and Doodle get to bed" she said nicely,she got up and turned out the light "goodnight" she whispered in the darkness she shut the door and left
Christmas Day! (last chapter)
The next morning we both woke up excitedly "oh my gosh it's Christmas morning!" Greg shouted we both ran out and into his mom's room "wake up mom!" Greg shouted "i'm up!" she laughed.All of us ran down the stairs we both found gifts laying there for both of us we tore through the wrapping paper i got; a new notebook,drawing materials,horn polish,a scrapbook,and a half heart necklace that had the letters "L-O" i looked confused "what does it mean? look Greg!" i said showing it to Greg he began to tear up his gifts he got; a new "diary",a new pencil,three new shirts,a scrapbook and a half heart necklace that had the letters "V-E" we put them together and guess what it spelled? "L-O-V-E! love!" we both blushed and looked at each other then quickly looked away from each other "so what did you guys get?" yawned his mother,we showed his mother what we got,even the necklaces "aw how sweet" said his mother touching her heart "why don't you guys go up stairs and play with your new toys?" his mother said and finished with a yawn "okay!" we both shouted we shot up the stairs i drew in my note book,he began writing in his "diary",i began polishing my horn,and he tried on his new shirts it was an amazing Christmas! but do you know the best part? i'll tell you after all that, we walked under the door frame "look Doodle,mistletoe" my eyes were guided above me there hangs some mistletoe, i looked in his eyes and blushed "oh,so there is" i said and then he brung me close,and we-kissed!-can you believe it?! well i hope you enjoyed my story!
