Luna and SCP-990

It was a bright and sunny day for Equestria, and the most obvious one. There will be no more threats to the kingdom, thanks to the Elements of Harmony, being in the possession of Twilight Sparkle, newly crowned princess of Equestria and protege of Princess Celestia, and her friends Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie. Together, they are known as the Main 6.

Equestria was ruled by the Royal Sisters, Princess Celestia, Mistress of the Day, and Princess Luna, Mistress of the Night and Dreams. Together, they made Equestria who it was today, not to mention in peace and harmony. There is nothing unusual for this bright day, until that one fateful night, involving Princess Luna herself.

-Night Time-

As Princess Celestia works her magic to set down the sun, Princess Luna works her magic to raise the moon. And when the moon was finally casted upon Equestria, she sighed with relief that her work is half-over, but now must contend with Night Court.

'Ah my night court. Nothing seems special about this day now and then.' She thought as she trotted down the hallway. Halfway down the hallway, though, there was something amiss from line of sight. In the corner of her eye, she could see something, maybe a figure, just standing with it's eyes glaring at her. When she blinks to try to get more information on the figure, it simply and mysteriously disappears, much to the dismay and shock of the Night Princess.

'Well, nothing there. Just my imagination.' She thought to reassure herself. However, a very deep and dark-like voice echoed through her mind, making her shiver in fear.

'I am there. You don't see me, for I am in your dream.' She is now shivering in fear, not to mention why did that voice comes from her mind. She is now in a panic state in the inside, but then she calms herself and proceeds to go to her Night Court.

-Night Court-

The Night Court was similar to the Day Court, but there was a distinct difference. The Day Court usually handles bickering nobles, but the Night Court was to handle troubled ponies who find it difficult to sleep, albeit by a nightmare, and Princess Luna was a master to get a nightmare to a sweet dream.

'This court will never get old.' She thought as she prepares herself for her court, or at least for now. When she entered, she could see her night guards in their positions, ready to defend their beloved princess from harm, even though their is none, it was a necessary precaution. Sitting in her seat, she looked around, trying to eye anything suspicious. Finding none, she cleared her throat and declared:

"I will declare this Night Court open! Begin the procession." But nothing happen. No ponies came to her because of a troubling nightmares.

'This is odd.' It is really odd. Normally the Night Court will have two to three ponies or more to go to her, pleading her to get rid of their horrible nightmares, and she will gladly help them. However, it was different, nothing happened. Even her night guards begin to relax a bit, but still they keep their guards up. Suddenly, something caught both Luna's and her night guards attention, that makes to wonder. A mist suddenly seeps into the door, and it begins to spread, but only on the room itself.

'This is....awkward.' She thought as she and her night guards stared at the door, and they thought something might happen. Indeed, something did happen. The door immediately opens, and it revealed a creature, 'humans' as Twilight called them, and it was wearing some kind of suit and a hat. The 'human' begins to walk steadily and, to her surprise, calmly as 'it' stares at her for a moment, before speaking with the same tone:

"I have been surprised in my entire life that I could walk now physically, but speaking with another creature physically also is truly a life-time. Isn't that right?" The dark-like tone actually got the night guards attention, and they pointed their spears at the mysterious 'human'. Luna continues to stare at this 'human', getting her complete curiosity. She again cleared her throat and asked:

"Is it right that I could ask you some question?" To Luna's and her night guards surprise, the 'human' chuckled and replied:

"A doctor interviewed me with some questions. I'm game to your questions." This delighted Luna, and she begins to ask the 'human'.

"May I ask what is your name?"

"I have been called in very different names, but I have been more commonly called as SCP-990. Or for some, the Dream Man." SCP-990 replied, making Luna to raise an eyebrow.

"Why SCP-990? Why the Dream Man? Is it because of dreams?"

"SCP-990 is a designation from the Foundation. Dream Man, on the other hand, is because that I only appear in dreams." SCP-990 replied.

'Foundation? What in Equestria is Foundation?' She thought, but to her utter shock, SCP-990 replied:

"The Foundation is a human organization wherein they would Secure, Contain and Protect, hence SCP." This creeps Luna out, as in SCP-990 could actually reply even though it's only her head that is asking. And another thing, a creature that could only appear in dreams? Truly fascinating, but this endangers her title as Mistress of Dreams. She asked another question.

"Why SCP-990 as your name? Couldn't be something more casual?"

"I am more accustomed to it now really." SCP-990 looked at the window, then at the door, then said: "I think it's time." SCP-990 just stood there, but the mist had vanished, and SCP-990 begins to disappear. Luna, panicking, asked:

"What is this 'It's time'?"

"Your Night Court, of course." And with that, SCP-990 had vanished, and the door had opened, revealing a shaken-up pony.

'This is weird.' Luna thought as she casually adjusted herself to begin the Night Court, but her mind couldn't erase her curiosity about SCP-990.

Author's Note

My first Containment Breach about SCP-990 almost physically talking with Luna, in this chapter. Later chapters will reveal SCP-990 to other ponies, in dreams and near physical eye contact.
