//-------------------------------------------------------// Darkness and Loyalty -by ssssssssssssss- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Special Guest //-------------------------------------------------------// A Special Guest Midnight Dash stood there, tapping her hoof. "Dash! I wanna talk to you!" She growled. "Er, who's that?" Asked Fluttershy. "Oh, a uh friend! I'll explain later!" I replied as I flew into the cold, snowy winter night. I faced the dark blue mare. "Well?" Said Midnight, her icy blue eyes gleaming a fierce yellow. "Did you tell them?" She asked me. "About... me and you...? Being *gulp* Wereponys?" I whispered, trembling due to the cold and my secret. "Yes, the full, moon is tommorow and so is the new year celebration!" Said Midnight, like she was bored. "Fine, I'll tell them." I muttered. "I'll see you tomorrow and don't forget to tell them about me!" Muttered Midnight as she flew away. "I won't!" I whispered softly. I trotted back inside the bakery, now knowing what I had to say. "I'm a monster because..i'm a- Werepony." I finished, beginning to cry hard, face in my hooves and lying on the ground. My 5 friends looked at each other in amazement, then asked in unison" for how long?" "Ever since me and Midnight have been friends, so since flight school!" I replied, trembling and sniffling. Fluttershy helped me up and hugged me. "It's okay, Dashie, it will be okay!" She whispered. I blushed slightly and hugged her back. The other 4 ponies joined the group hug and comforted me. I fell asleep due to exhaustion and Fluttershy tucked me in her cottage. My other friends slept at Fluttershy's cottage to in the morning then search for a cure and help me with my curse. I stirred and blinked my eyes. I saw my 5 friends staring me in the eyes. "What..happened?" I asked, exhausted. "You told us you're a werepony." said AJ in the awkward silence. "What?......" I whispered then began to fly away, crying softly, tears blazing in my eyes. "See, AJ dear, I tried to tell you she couldn't take it!" Whispered Rarity. Fluttershy flew after me to comfort me. I was burying my face in a cloud, a stern look on my face as I looked at the Everfree forest. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Secret //-------------------------------------------------------// A Secret I sat on a cliff, the almost full moon shining and stars sparkling. The snow was falling quietly and most of Ponyville was asleep. The cold air and wind flowed peacefully in my mane and tail. My breath was a light grey cloud in the freezing cold weather. My own magenta eyes sparkled as I looked at the stars and saw an outline of my 5 friends: Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. I did have them as friends, yet it didn't feel like it for a bit due to my parent's death, yet I tried to be brave and fast and loyal on the outside, yet I'm cracked, depressed, and bad tempered on the inside. I was too scared to tell my friends my dark secret of how I felt inside. "How could they leave me, and not like me, have they left me here to die? My sadness overwhelms me and I'll try not to cry, and be strong... because I'm a monster." I whispered softly, a small tune to it. "Wow Dashie, I had no idea you were so good at singing!" Said a mare voice behind me. I turned around to face Pinkie Pie and my other 4 friends giving me soft looks. Snow blew in front of my face. "Y-you heard me?" I uttered, almost starting to cry, knowing her friends knew I was soft inside and not as brave. "Yeah, you er' great!" Said Applejack as she hugged me tightly. "Well.... t-tell no pony!" I sniffed to my still soft faced friends. My friends Pinkie promised and group hugged. "We would never leave you!" Said Twilight to me as they all trotted back to sugar cube corner for Hot Cocoa. "I-I know." I uttered. "I'm a monster!" I thought as tears burned in my eyes. "Dash, why are you a monster dear?" Asked Rarity, looking me right in my teary eyes. "I wish I could say." I began but was interrupted by a Ding! from the bell which signals Pinkie or the Cake's if there's a customer. I wiped away the tears and got up to see who came in so late. I gasped, surprised at who it was.
