                  Chapter 1: Preperation

Chapter 1: Preperation
Derpy opened her eyes and yawned. "Tommorows the Summer Sun Celebration!" She said, with that derpy tone of hers.
She jumped out of her bed, and turned on her muffin lamp. Outside it was pitch black, Luna's moon high in the sky. She grinned and turned her lamp off, but instantly turned it on. "It's OK." She said as she trotted downstairs. When she reached the bottom she slipped her muffin slippers on and walked to the kitchen. Opening the fridge she took out a muffin, a huge big triple chocolate one. "Should I sell this one?" She shrugged. "Nah" Quickly she ate the muffin. As she stuck her grey head out of the shivering cold white fridge a glimmer of Celestia's light peeped through the window. She gasped, "Officially two days left!!" Derpy bounced up and down with excitement, a few seconds later there was a knock at the door. "Huh?" she said.
"BOO!"  Shouted a pink pony, with a twisted curly mane.
"Hi Pinkie pie!" Derpy grinned, "Can I help you?" Pinkie nodded.
"Just wondered if I could borrow some of your muffins for the buffet' at the Summer Sun celebration later? It may be in Canterlot this year but I'm still allowed to help Twilight said!" The pink pony started bouncing.
"I think you mean tommorow? Oh and by Twilight you mean PRINCESS Twilight?"
Pinkie stopped bouncing, "Uh, Derpy the SSC is later today, and OF COURSE that Twilight!" She rubbed her head. "Can I have those muffins? I'll give ya credit?"
Derpy trotted into the kitchen and took a batch of Chocolate chip, Triple choc and Blueberry muffins out. "See you... LATER then I guess." She closed the door.
"How could I not know it was today?" She shouted, throwing her slippers off, she raced up the staircase, grabbed her manebrush and started brushing it. "Maybe Rarity can do my mane!" She shouted, sprinted  out of the door to Carousel Boutique. When she opened the Blue door, she saw a very happy looking- Crystal? Rarity. "Oh hello, welcome to Carousel Boutique!" She squeed.
"Rarity, how did you become crystal?" Rarity looked at her through her huge black pupil.
"Twilight." She responded.
"Can she do it to me?" Rarity shook her head,
"It wasn't Twilight, It was Cadence Twilight's.... Sister in law."
Derpy looked down, "Okay, can you do my mane?" Rarity nodded and sat Derpy on her chair.
After a few hours it was done, her pastel yellow mane looked, fabulous and curly. Just like the fashioneesters normal mane.
"Are you coming later?" Rarity said as she finished the last plat. Derpy nodded her head silently.
"Of course!" She looked at her watch. "I gotta get on the train!" She said dashing away.
She finally arrived at the station, and got on the Ponyville express, travelling to Canterlot.
