Fuse [Part Two]

Previous Chapter

After that battle, Black Blur turned to the corpse that was laid in the ground. He sighs, but before he could think, the corpse turned to a kind of lack mud, which he presumed to be chaos materia.

"No..." he mutter. Black Blur as fast as he can, runs toward the closest shadow to teleport to Twilight's library. After using the Shadow Teleportation, he finds himself at the second floor, on Twilight's room. Below him, on the first floor, the draconequus was writhing itself on the ground, as three mares, one filly and a bunny were staring at it in confusion. You go downstairs, to check if everypony is okay.

"Derpy, are you okay?" he asks, but he gets no response.

"Yes, she is," Twilight says. "Now, could you tell us what's going on?"

"There is no time to explain thee," Black says. "You must teleport to a safe place with the largest number of ponies you can take. Leave Derpy and Dinky with me and meet me at Canterlot's castle in one week."

The ponies are confused, specially Derpy, who had no clue of what was going on.

Twilight nods and teleport from the library with Fluttershy and Angel, leaving Black Blur, Derpy and Dinky behind, staring at Insanity losing it's conscience.

"Looks like what I did to thee was super effective, right? INSANITY," he says. The draconequus give him a long stare before fainting, leaving the room in silence.

After that, Black Blur run toward some magic books in the book shelves. Derpy snap out of the trance she'd been in a while, and ask "Black Blur, what is going on here?"

The filly looks scared, holding on the right foreleg of her mother.

"I'll explain after we warn the other ponies in town and get out of here," you say, putting some spellbooks on the saddlebags you found, lying in a rounded wooden table.

Derpy is about to complain, but he gets the filly on his back and drag Derpy out of the library as fast as he can.

Two Hours Later...

He starts searching for anypony lost in the middle of the city, but it looks like there was nopony left there. They've got everypony to a safe place, which was probably Canterlot. The princesses would know what to do in this kind of situation.

He was decided to run away from there, but then he heard a grunt coming from behind him. When he turns his head, he sees a pink unicorn with purple mane casting a teleportation spell, making her to arrive in front of Black Blur.

Suddenly, two stallions appear from a bush behind them, carrying two saddle bags and a knife on their mouths. The mare casted a crafting spell. A dagger was formed in her mouth and in three seconds, she immobilize the two stallions, leaving them on the ground.

She turned her head to Black Blur as he stares at her, amazed.

It was obvious that she wasn't an ordinary pony. Her skills on fighting and on magic were too advanced for anypony to do it like it was nothing.

He regains his composure, and tell the pony "I don't know who you are, but we got to run away from the city right now."

She doesn't look to be confused, and tell the fox "Twilight came to me with the same advice. Why's that?"

"I'll explain it in the way, now get thou things and let's go," he says trying to convince the mare, but she doesn't look to be giving up the city that easily.

"Not until you tell me why... and I've never seen you here, who are you?" she asks.

Black Blur is losing his patience. In a hurry he walks toward the mare and say "ALL of your questions are gonna be answered AFTER we get out of here, the city will be destroyed within hours. Now, I'm begging you, get thou things and let's go."

The mare was still unconvinced of that, but she decided not to argue, due the fox's determination.

Half an hour later...

Now in the mare's house — which the name was Sparkler — Black Blur had already told her all what has happened, and now she was confused.

"So, the reason she's here is because she's hunting you?" she asks.

"Aye," he answers. "I was planning on leaving the city tomorrow to get no trouble, but she arrived few hours ago in front of me. I had to do something to protect the ponies, with or without the wounds."

"Okay, we'll get this story clear by tomorrow–" She put on her saddlebags with her stuff. "–Where are we going?"

"We're going to the train station. And then, Canterlot." He said.

---

They've arrived the train station within minutes, but it looks like it won't work. There was nopony where the balconist was supposed to be.

"Great." Said Sparkler.

"DAMN IT!" Black Blur scream and then he punches the glass, breaking it.

"Black Blur..." muttered Dinky. Black Blur calmed himself down for not to scare the filly.

"Sorry, Dinky." He says. Dinky nods, as he tries to think about somewhere where he could go out of the city, but nothing came to his mind.

"I've got an idea," said Sparkler. His attention turn to the mare. "West from here, there is a hill. From there we can see many pathes to travel, but there are no tranports. We'll have to walk."

Black Blur think for some moments. "But why do we got to go to the hills, when we can walk from here?" he asks.

"Because the path from the hill is safe. Chaos magic won't work there," she says, confident. "And it's closed space; if we need to hide, we can hide."

He was convinced by that. "How long is it going to take for us to reach the hill?"

"About ten minutes," she answers.

"And Canterlot?" he ask again.

"At least, twenty four hours; two days and one night," she answers the fox.

Black Blur nods, "So let's go," and turn his attention to Derpy. "Art thee okay?"

"Y-yes..." she says. "Just a little confused."

"I'll tell you two the other part of the story when we get to safe place," says Black Blur. "Now Sparkler, lead the way please."

Seven minutes later...

The cold night was almost at it's pinnacle level of darkness, with clouds covering the stars in the sky. The four are getting closer to the hill, and the moon was already set at the sky, illuminating the green grass as a drizzling begin to invade the awkward mood between them.

"Let's hurry, it's going to rain," says Black Blur.

"Okay," answers Sparkler. "Can you carry on, Derpy?"

Derpy nods, and Sparkler starts to move faster. The filly yawns at Black Blur's back and he realizes that Derpy is with some difficulties on flying.

"Derpy, it's drizzling. Can't thee walk just while it rains?" he asks.

Derpy sighs, "I've got some difficulties on walking, because I'm too clumsy. It is easier to fly. If I start walking, I'm sure I'm gonna stumble directly on any of you–"

"It doesn't matter, I can help you walking straight," he says, rising his paw to the grey pegasus.

She starts to go on the ground, holding on the fox's paw with her hooves. "If it gets tricky, you can let me–"

"No, I can handle this, don't worry," he answers. The grey pegasus grin and they cotinue their way to the hill top.

We're almost there, Sparkler thinks.

Two minutes later...

Black Blur sighs in relief on top of the hill. He turns his head to see if everything is okay with the ponies, when a sudden white light appears above the city. All the group turn to see what has happened, and they suddenly get freezed. A lot... A LOT of foals floating above the inhabitated city. In the center of all the foals, was a floating creature... with a black hood.

Black Blur's body started trembling. Memories of that night started flashing into his mind. His eyes widened, staring at it. His body was stoned and all what he could do that time... was nothing.

"Stop it." He mumbled.

The other ponies stare at Black Blur. He's staring directly to the draconequus, "No... Stop it... STOP IT!!!"

When he screamed, the draconequus with a large grin, pops it's finger. In the first seconds, the foals are just static, but after more twenty seconds, they were struggling with their hooves on their necks. They weren't breathing. Black Blur tries to scream something, but it wont come out. He tries to move, but his body doesn't respond. Sparkler and Derpy are also static with wide opened eyes, uncapable of believing on the scene in front of them. Black Blur's eyes are now tearing. He's crying.

"STOP THAT!!! STOOOOOOOOOP!!! STOPSTOPSTOPSTOPSTOOOOOOOOOP!!!" he screams desperate and crouched in the grass. "Stop... no..."

The foals are not awake anymore, they're still floating and static. At this moment, Insanity pops her fingers again, making that horrible scene worse. Suddenly they had two spasms, and after that, blood starts to fall from their mouths. Black Blur was silently watching this scene.

"What did she... no... NOT THEIR–!"

His sentence was interrupted because of the next image of that atrocity. Coming out of the flying foals mouths, were hearts. The organs were coming out of their dead bodies slowly, and when they were out completely, the blood dripping from the hearts were going on their faces. After that, Insanity drew her katana off and started flying in high speed through all the corpses, cutting them all in a half, making a blood rain above the city.

To finish it while the city in being painted with blood, she threw their corpses in the ground in strategic positions, one by one. When the rain ceased, she stopped throwing the foals, and then another somepony appears before her, stroking her face.

When they looked to the foals in the ground, everypony stood in silence. Everypony was staring to Black Blur, who had his tears falling from his eyes to his cheeks, hitting the wet ground with cold rain in the atmosphere. What she did to the foals corpses, was to write a sentence. It was written: IT IS YOUR FAULT, DID YOU KNOW THAT?

The one stroking Insanity's face wasn't a pony, for sure; he had bat wings and long tail with some fur on it's tip. After the figure simply teleported back to where he came from, the draconequus starts to laugh out loud, for everypony to hear.

"I JUST WON'T KILL YOU NOW BECAUSE I'M OUT OF MAGIC!!!" She shouts on Black Blur, then float away laughing again.

Everypony is in silence. Dinky sees her mother crying on the ground, with her hooves down and goes toward her to comfort her mother. Sparkler is wide eyed staring to the laughing draconequus and then to Black Blur. The black fox, is not wide eyed anymore, staring at the sky, trying to cut his crying off.

"It can't be..." She says as she watches Ponyville turning into ashes.
