It is a quiet night, as usual, and Violet C. and Artsy D. are having a sleepover.
I'm tired," says Violet, as she rubs her eye with her hoof.
"Come on, it's not even that late! We should stay up all night... I dare you to!" the bright pink pegasus pony replies.
Unlike other ponies, Artsy Doodles is very creative and loves a good challenge.
"Fine, fine. But this time, let's not have the Fire-Colts at our house again," Violet says, looking concerned.
"My mom took my phone for a whole month!" she adds.
"I remember, Violet. We communicated with rocks!" Artsy replies, remembering the incident and giggling.
~TIME; 11:30 PM~
With Violet passed out on the couch, Artsy has no other decision but to sleep. As she lies down and shuts her eyes, she soon falls into a deep, deep sleep............ (or at least she thought.) As Artsy wakes up, she is not where she was before... She is where almost nopony had gone before.

Artsy is very confused. Where is she? She is in a very strange place, indeed. The whole place has a soft cyan glow to it, and there are glittering stars shining in the distance. It is beautiful, but so vast. As she looks down at her hooves, she sees that there is no ground, but rather the same thing that is around her- vast nothingness. Even so, she tries to take another step on it and succeeds, stepping forward.
"Anypony there?" Artsy calls out.
She advances slowly in the air, and sees a tall white figure in the distance.
~5 minutes of walking later~
Artsy approaches the figure. She is tall, white, and has a beautiful multicolor mane. Who is it? She is the mighty, regal Princess Celestia herself!
Artsy steps forward.
"Your Majesty..." she says, bowing down onto her front hooves before bombarding the Princess with questions.
"Princess Celestia, Your Majesty, if you don't mind me asking... Where am I? Where is Violet? and is this a dream, or is it real?" Artsy asks in confusion.
"Now, now, Artsy Doodles. Let's just say that you are in the place where you... Meet your destiny. Violet Colorwrights is safe at home. And this is a dream, but yet reality too. Follow me."
Artsy follows cautiously, and as they move forward, she sees moving images of her, Violet, and other friends learning art from Artsy, learning from their mistakes, learning friendship lessons, and simply having fun. Artsy gazes at them, remembering those fun times.
Then Celestia starts to sing:
♪Artsy, you are special, you know,♪
♪I've seen you learn, and watched you grow,♪
♪When you wake up, then you will see,♪
♪ It's time to fulfill your destiny...♪
As the Princess is singing, Artsy is thinking rapidly-
What does that mean? Hmm... Wait! I heard of a unicorn pony once that did something similar not so long ago... Could it be?

Violet wakes up to the sound of her little sister, and #1 assistant, Starburst, shaking her violently awake.
“Violet! VIOLET! Wake up!" shouts Starburst.
“Okay, okay, I'm awake." The blue unicorn rubs her eye with her hoof, sleepily, but this is no time to dawdle. The bright yellow unicorn Filly is clearly in distress, and Violet immediately gets out of bed.
"What's wrong? Did you lose your stuffed animal again?" asks Violet.
Starburst loves her stuffed monkey to death; the last time she lost it, she wouldn't come out of her room for a week!
"No, no! It's much worse! Artsy is... Artsy is MISSING!!!" Starburst says worriedly.
"Wha-WHAT!?!?" Violet exclaims.
Both of the ponies run to the living room -That's where Artsy was when Violet fell asleep- but instead of Artsy, they find her cutie mark; a paint palette and brush, smoking and imprinted on the floor.
"Oh...no...oh...no..." Violet stammers, as she huddles on the floor, backing away.
"Yeah... What are we going to do, Violet?" asks Starburst. She is looking a lot more nervous now.
"I don't know... but... Whatever got Artsy... It's... It's coming for us next!" says Violet worriedly as she stares at the smoking mark on the floor.

Thoughts are swirling inside of the pegasus pony's head.
I know of another pony, Twilight Sparkle, who went through a place that looks like this, but what did I do that was so great? I never did anything extravagant or life saving, like saving Equestria from peril by defeating a villain like Queen Chrysalis or Discord! I'm just a regular pegasus pony who is obsessed with doodling and loves her friends!
But, that is just why this is happening, little known to Artsy.
When Princess Celestia is done with her song, she starts telling Artsy about how her artistic talent is amazing, also since she is a Pegasus who can't use magic to draw, and it can not go unnoticed. She also says that Equestria doesn't have as much art and color these days, and that she is trusting Artsy to fulfill that duty, knowing that she is special.
Artsy nods.
"So, basically, you want me to make colorful works of art to hang all over Equestria!? Wow, I'm honored!"
"Technically, yes. But you will learn in time, Artsy.
Princess Celestia winks, and suddenly an aqua-colored aura surrounds Artsy. It is like a whirlpool of wind, but it is surely magic, as it was sparkly, and directly enveloping Artsy.
"I hope to see you again soon, Artsy!" says Celestia.
The magic aura, along with Artsy, goes up and up... then disappears.

Artsy awakens right where she went to bed.
What happened? the pony asks herself. Was it all a dream?
As she got up, she hears voices in the kitchen, so she walks in there.
"Violet? You in here?" the tired pony asks. She hears a small muffled noise, and turns her head to see Violet crying.
"ARTSY! WHERE-" Violet cries, before she looks up to Artsy's head.
"Oh. My. Celestia..." she says in awe.
"What?" Artsy asks. Is there something wrong?
“Your h...head!" Violet says as she stares.
Violet hands Artsy a mirror, and she is in total shock.
“OH MY CELESTIA!!!!!" Artsy screams. She touches her new horn and puts her mirror down.
Artsy can't believe her eyes. An alicorn? What? Maybe that dream she had was real!
“You look like a princess!" Violet says, gazing at Artsy's horn.
-RING!-
Artsy and Violet go to the door. As Violet opens it -PANG!-
As both pass out, they are taken away.
