Then one day the fighting stopped, and peace and harmony rose up as the chaos dissipated. The pony who stopped the fighting was a stallion known as Prince Harmony. He had married a beautiful mare by the name of Astral Deva. The two were soon married, an in a few years’ time they had their first foal. Like her parents she was an alicorn, they named her Celestia. They three were happy for the next thousand years. Soon Prince Harmony noticed Celestia was feeling sad and depressed. Prince Harmony asked his daughter, “What’s wrong Tia?” Celestia replied, “Besides you and mommy, I am the only alicorn in this world.” Prince Harmony asked his beautiful wife Astral, “Can we have another foal so Celestia is not so lonely?” Astral replied, “Sure why not, if it makes our daughter happy.” After nine months and six days, the big day came in the castle delivery room. Celestia waited anxiously to find out if everything was okay in there. After an hour had past Celestia was allowed to come in the room. Prince Harmony said to his daughter, “Celestia meet your new little sister, Luna.” Celestia walked over to her mom and her, “Mommy can I hold her?” Astral replied to her daughter, “Yes but be careful with her.” Celestia replied, “I will hold her using my magic mommy.” Celestia looked in awe at her new little sister, she knew that they would be the best of friends. All of a sudden Astral felt something happen to her. Prince Harmony felt his brother nearby and saw that his wife began to look even paler than her normal white coat. Harmony called a nurse into the room and asked her, “What is happening to my wife?” She replied, “Her life seems to be fading away.” Harmony used a great deal of his magic to try to restore his wife, but it was no use. As he looked at Astra’s dying body, he came over and gave her one last kiss. Astra’s lips met her husband's lips and the two shared their final embrace together. After the two stopped Astral said, “Harmony take care of our two fillies.” Harmony said, “I will Astral, I promise you that.” After a few minutes Astral gave her last breath, Luna started to cry and wanted to be held. Harmony picked up his filly and held her tight, so she would stop crying. When they left the hospital wing of the castle they had Astra’s body placed near a tree planted to keep harmony in Equestria. Harmony went to Luna’s room to sing a lullaby that Astral used on Celestia when she was a foal. He began to sing the lullaby and all of a sudden Celestia came in and heard the lullaby. Celestia asked, “Daddy can I sing too?” Harmony replied, “Of Course, Tia.” The two sang, “Hush my baby, don’t you cry, the moon is out and the stars in the sky. Now let’s count the sheep, one, two, three, four. Hush, shush, shoosh, snore. I said, hush, shush, shoosh, snore…” They looked at the little blue filly and saw she was fast asleep. Harmony closed the door and took Celestia back to her room. Years past and as the two fillies grew up into nice young mares. Harmony saw that his daughters got their cutie marks on the same day. The day the two fillies stopped their dad from lowering the moon and raising the sun. Harmony asked the two, “Luna and Celestia what do you need?” Luna asked, “Dad can I lower the Moon?” Harmony replied, “Go ahead dear.” Luna flew up and using her magic as she started to land the moon lowered and Luna’s cutie mark appeared. Celestia asked, “Dad can I raise the sun?” Harmony replied, “Of course Celestia.” Celestia using her magic and her wings rose the sun and just like her little sister she got her cutie mark. The two fillies looked at each other and giggled in surprise, before saying, “Sis you got your cutie mark!” Harmony said to both of them, “Now can you two do me a favor, never fight about how long the sun or moon shall stay up.” Luna and Celestia said, “Yes dad we won’t.” Year past before Harmony decided to make the tree near his wife’s crave a magical tree. He pulled his power of harmony into six keys. Harmony used the box to hold an artifact of harmonic power so the tree could live and never die. After he hid the box in the tree the tree sprouted six gems, to mark each key the gem he named the gems the Elements of Harmony. Each of the elements he imbued with his life force, meaning he would vanish and leave his two daughters to take care of the land. The first one he made was Laughter, it held his need to make ponies happy. The second one was Kindness, it held his nice personality. The third one was Loyalty, it showed he would never abandon anypony no matter the situation. The fourth one was Generosity, it showed that he would give without hoping to receive and please his friends. The fifth one was Honesty, Prince Harmony never told any lies, because even if you may lose a friend honesty will save you in the end. The sixth and final one was Magic, he knew that any friendship a pony could make would be a powerful and magical bond that cannot be broken. The two sister suddenly saw their dad using his magic on the tree. They saw he was getting weaker and weaker as he continued. They tried to make their dad stop but he wouldn’t. As he vanished he said, “Luna and Celestia these object have the power to restore balance to Equestria and restore me to life. They will only do this when the time has come for me to be reborn.” Years past and the two saw a horrible figure come to power over Equestria, he was Discord, God of Chaos. As they fought with him he taunted them about their family, and how their dad was a weak and pathetic pony. The two sisters said to him, “Don’t talk about our family that way!” Discord replied, “It seems you dad was heartbroken over his wife dying. I am glad I caused that to happen.” Celestia was horrified and yelled, “Discord you will pay that.” The two went to their father’s tree and took the elements to stop discord. They used the magic in them and turned Discord into a stone statue. They went back to the castle and threw a party that would later evolve into the Grand Galloping Gala. Years past and one day the two started to fight over how long the sun and moon would stay up. Months past and finally Luna snapped, she turned into a darker sinister mare. She called herself Nightmare Moon, and she tried to take her sister’s life. Celestia overwhelmed with despair had to use the elements on her sister. Celestia chose to put Luna on the moon for one thousand years. From his space in the Element of Magic, Prince Harmony was making plans on who would bear his elements next. He chose a meek pegasi named Fluttershy as Kindness. Harmony then chose a very loyal and brash pegasi named Rainbow Dash as Loyalty. The next pony he chose is happy and random earth pony named Pinkie Pie as Laughter. The next bearer Harmony chose was strong and modest earth pony named Applejack as Honesty. Harmony knew that the last two he had to pick carefully, so he saw a fashionesta named Rarity, who wanted to make her clients happy for no extra charge, Harmony made her Generosity. The last one Harmony chose she was a student of his daughter’s named Twilight Sparkle. Harmony saw that she would one day finish a spell Harmony’s cousin, Star Swirl the Bearded could never finish. He knew that she was an extremely powerful unicorn who would become a princess, so he made her the Element of Magic. Harmony watched as the years past waiting for his plans to come to fruition….
