Someone once said, that time is a predator that stalks us all our lives, hunting us as we try to outrun it by any means that we can. We can try to extend it with medicine, new technologies, and all types of things, but at the end of the line, time always catches up with us all.

As a young man is thrust from his home on Earth to the magical land Equestria, he quickly finds that the land is imperiled by a great evil, and there is nothing anypony can do to stop its arrival. Long has its arrival been expected and long has it been decided that the ponies will accept their fate when it arrives.

But with the help of the last Time Lord, known only as the Doctor, Daniel seeks to save Equestria from her dark future. But even with his help, how will the two be able to avoid the great evil and sorrow that awaits the land of the ponies?

After all, we’re only finite and frail. Who could possibly hope to stop the continuous passage of time?
